Introduction

This is my guide to Wukong The MONKEY King. Yes he's a MONKEY, That means he eats bananas and does nothing at all. Wrong! he does not eat bananas. i was hoping he was a ranged carry that throws bananas at people, not that he's bad or anything but i was atleast hoping for a banana move... anyway He's got an odd play style, He's stealth, dps, and bursty, kinda like a Evelynn, Olaf, Lee Sin, combo. but that's just my opinion. there are lots of ways of playing him.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
High survivability.
Good harass early-mid.
Awesome Ganker.
Fun to juke people with S.
Cons:
Difficult early game.
Not the best movement speed.
Not much sustainability (be safe in lane).
Reliant on lane partner early.

Masteries

I find Defensive the way to go taking 0/22/8.
Down the Defensive line i take Evasion , Nimbleness , Veteran's Scars , And Tenacity ,
the other 9 go to Utility for Awareness , And one point in Haste .

Runes

I grab a kinda jungle rune build.
Greater Mark of Desolation. I find these ARP runes very helpful on any melee dps champ.
Greater Glyph of Attack Speed. These ATS runes help with last hitting early game, and help you with ATS late game, until you get your Zeal Trinity Force (if you decide to get it.) mid to late game.
Greater Seal of Armor. Armor seals they help in my opinion. but you can have anything in place of these its just my opinion to have armor, but any of the following works, Greater Glyph of Health, And Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction
Greater Quintessence of Desolation. More ARP but again just my Opinion.

Summoner Spells

I take Ghost, and Flash, there are other choices but i like these.
Other Choices.
Teleport: Its helpful for getting back to lanes, but not really my kind of choice.
Exhaust: Good for shuting down that AD carry, Or surviving that Miss Fortune Nunu & Willump ult.
Ignite: Personally i hate this spell on him but ive seen so many with it.
Heal: Its ok... But i like others.
Clarity: Meh its ok but he does not really have mana problems
!Bad Choices!
Promote: It might be good in the upcoming Dominion.
Revive: I hate this spell but if you think its good then it has to be bad...
Smite: Only if you jungle and i have not found out how yet.
Fortify: Let the tank support get this.
Rally: No.

Skill Sequence

I max the MONKEY'S Crushing Blow first, Even though Nimbus Strike is better early game, But i still find Crushing Blow helpful for pushing turrets early.
I max his Nimbus Strike second, Its good for farming, But if you use it on a single target it glitches and you just float on there heads...
Warrior Trickster I max last its only needed for the stealth and jukeing anyway.
Cyclone This is awesome to save a turret from a major push or for turning the tides of a Team Fight.

Items

Core: philosopher's stone

I start with Regrowth Pendant (or Doran's Shield) to start rushing Philosopher's Stone, I try to stay in lane till i have enough to buy Philosopher's Stone, and a few health Potions, (A few meaning 2 or 3) and then i go back down the lane. Next time i go back, I get Boots, and if possible Sheen for Trinity Force. The next item is your complete boots there are 3 different ones you can take Ninja Tabi, Mobility Boots, Mercury's Treads (My favr :D). and Once you get Sheen, Figure out if you want ATS/MS= Zeal, or HP/ATK= Phage. I Normally take Phage, Then the next time i get Trinity Force ASAP, i try farming enough for TF Skipping Zeal all together. Next up is Warmog's Armor, Not much more to say about it.
Then its Atma's Impaler.

Other Items

If you did not like the above items or situational items.
Banshee's Veil: Helps tons vs mage's and that shield just might save your life.
The Brutalizer: If you want more AD, ARP,And CD, or if you just want to get a Youmuu's Ghostblade.
Frozen Mallet: I take this in place of Warmog's Armor. Not really needed though.
Zeal Phantom Dancer: Its a good item, take it if you want.
Last Whisper: Good for ARP and ATK but its mainly for tanks.
Force of Nature: This is for those fed Annies. Plus MS. Not that much, But its a nice bonus.
