If you answered Yes to any of the Above Nasus is the man....Dog thing for you!

Pros:
[*] Good pushing power
[*] Decent mid game
[*] Devastating Late game
[*] High tank stats but still has high damage
[*] When you are fed you can play the song "Who let the dogs Out!"

Cons:
[*] Quite poor Early game
[*] Very Very reliant on farming
[*] Can be harassed early alot
[*] Typically gets camped by the enemy jungler
[*] Does not fetch the stick

All around:

Nasus is one of the few who can 1 shot champs but that only happens if you farmed enough and got a few kills. Due to that requirement, early he is weak but come late game you become a behemoth who is tanky but can still make you regret not buying enough hp items.

You are a Tank by nature. Also early your not going to really get a pure tank item.
[*] So having Armour seals and Magic Res glyphs are best.
[*] Marks i say best would be lethality so your Q's get stronger
[*] Quints LS and a Lethaity for the extra Heal/damage

Now i would argue that merciless is stronger than Meditation for damage sake BUT having that mana regen is so so good because it allows you to keep up with your opponent and their own mana reserves, even when they use energy or nothing it allows you to stay in lane longer which ,means more farm

Now thunderlords gives more burst but the movement speed and tenacity from stormraiders is much better because as Nasus you need to stick to targets to deal your damage

And please YOU ARE A TANK AND SHOULD NOT TAKE DOUBLE EDGED SWORD. Battle trance is a decent replacement, when a teamfight occurs your damage will ramp up as it goes on.

Obviously Q is maxed out 1st.

Between W and E it depends what you need for the situation:

[*] W you take against fast Lane opponents or opponents who rely on attack speed for their damage. It is also worth to mention that W is better used upon being engaged rather then for engaging because your target will run if they see you W to attack.

[*] E you take when you are pushed back under tower or if your getting harassed too hard. It can be used to farm(if its not possible to Q the minions then you use E to farm a bit) and mainly to harass your opponent as they farm.

In my personal experience I have benefited more from maxing W 2nd as it saved me many times and also got me and my team many kills. E on the other hand I sometimes forget its a Skill. I admit it has uses such as the amour rend but its damage is very little. It pretty much makes an arena where your damage is stronger if an enemy is in it.

And obviously take R wherever you can. Here are some Tips to using the Ult:

[*] Use when you have been bursted by an enemy or believe and are certain you are about to be engaged upon

[*] When entering the teamfight Activate it(extra tank stats and AOE damage)

[*] Sometimes to secure an objective(eg baron) you might have to make a sacrifice of either yourself or the Buff, so Ult'ing when you spot enemies coming for Baron can speed up the barons demise or make the enemy hesitate to engage you as you are much stronger.

NOTE: As far as possible use R when you have high hp cause if u have low Hp u might just die and waste it. Did you ult when you saw the enemy jungler come top only for them to run away and you got no kills? GOOD cause you secured your own life and wasted that jungler's time.

TP is must have for top laners. NO exceptions

Between Flash and Ghost..........Ghost is the best for sticking to targets BUT ghost doesnt get you over walls..It comes down to wanting kill securing or defensive flashes. Flash has its offensive uses as well but you would be using it to mainly save your self.

Do I seriously need to say anything?

Last hit with Q as far as possible HOWEVER I have had the experience of being killed to Q one minion. So if this happens to you try to tower farm, it will be hard due to the long cooldown of your Q but its safer and Using E to farm if this happens might be your only option otherwise your going to miss alot of farm and your going to be weak

A very key thing to know about Nasus.

YOU CAN SOLO BARON!

Ahem, as awesome as this is it does take forever because baron takes reduced damage from everything But it is a nice thing to know. TIP: If u can solo it that also means with a team you are guaranteed to be able to kill baron!(I said Kill baron, Not get the buff as a smart team can steal that from you so do this at your own expense)

Now League is a team game and majority of the team fights your going to be in it. To make the most out of them here is what you should try doing.(Hence try due to other factors, Eg walls, distance, Hp, etc)

[*] Peel. Your W (at max rank) Slows targets to 90%. This allows your team to land skill shots and immobilizes which get you guys a kill.

[*] Make sure your the target. I know you don't want to be killed but soaking up damage for your team allows them to clean up. An example. Team fight happens and you die BUT 1 person from the enemy team is dead and the rest are all less then 50%Hp, all at the cost of your life.

[*] Try to tank tower if you can. Paired up with your ult you can tank at least 5 tower hits or more and still be hard to kill. Sometimes getting the tower is more important than killing the champ under it

Also experiment with friends and think up of interesting ways to get you fed.(Nasus is a very good person to have fed on your team, sometimes more important than the adc!) Sometimes work with your jungler to set up kills or gank mid lane to pick up kills.

Overall(or if you skipped here) Nasus is a tank who can still bring a lot of damage to a fight. His main draw back is that he needs farm, after getting some tho you become a Behemoth. Now go their and Remember to never fetch that stick.
