Hello and welcome to the MOBAFire Patch Summary - 9.14!

This is one of the biggest balance patches this year, with sweeping changes to a number of champions, many of which could be considered minor reworks. There are no rune or item changes this patch, but a lot of champions have new mechanics or have had their abilities retuned to try and give them healthier play patterns.

Team Fight Tactics is receiving its own set of changes for this patch as well! Check out Riot's official TFT 9.14 Patch Notes for more details

This patch also includes the long-awaited Death Recap as well as an option to disable [Allied] Chat for those who prefer to play without text chat.

As always, be sure to check out the full patch notes for details on any changes that interest you.

Demacia Vice Garen and Demacia Vice Lucian will be available on July 18, 2019.

Other Changes

  • ARAM Balance Changes

  • Death Recap

    • We've added a new option under Settings>Interface>Chat that will now allow you to mute your allies' chats. There is now a separate checkbox for "Show [Allied] Chat" next to the already existing "Show [All] Chat". Both settings will be checked by default, but players can now uncheck both to mute both enemies' and teammates' chats permanently, or until they're turned back on. However, unchecking both will not mute the pre- and post-game chat, but we've heard your requests and are considering including those in the future!

  • Show [Allied] Chat

    • The new Death Recap is now live! This new and improved version includes damage type breakdowns, fight duration, and CC duration. Clicking the Recap will allow you to expand and see additional details on damage sources. We still have some more improvements planned for the future, so stay tuned. In the meantime, get in the game and see it for yourself!

Most of the ones that's buffed is actually balanced now, most of the ones that are adjusted are actually also technically buffs, like Ahri's Charm being able to remove in-progress dashes, but some are nerfs yes. x)
