How to Splitpush

What the heck is split pushing?

Split pushing is applying pressure on a secondary lane without the assistance of your team. It's most commonly done top lane. Split pushing is fairly simple to execute and creates a frustrating puzzle for the enemy to solve if done properly. You force your enemy into making potentially devastating decisions should they choose wrong. Usually, it creates a 4v4 team fight middle and a 1v1 top. If they are slow in reacting then they lose objectives. You can split push with teleport to make 4v5 plays elsewhere.

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS IS ALL ABOUT PRESSURE. Usually, the team that applies the most pressure wins.

Okay...so what should I keep in mind when I'm trying to split push?

I'm a split push fiend..especially when I play top. Basic split pushing is simple but mistakes can cost you serious objectives. Execution of split pushing is the easy part. The hard part is decision making. You want to have a plan for every situation before you find yourself in the situa…

Something to put here

I've been playing League of Legends since the end of season 2 and have been here for all of the changes since then. From season to season I have managed to see improvement in my game sense, my mechanics and just overall. However with the coming season 6 I've hit a point where I'm not sure how to really improve anymore than I have now.

For example, In season 2 I played maybe 2 or 3 ranked games and just found them unimportant since it was towards the end of the season anyway. Then in season 3 I made it to silver 1 and was stuck there, however I manage to break the silver gates and rise to the top of gold and stand face to face with the golden gates keeping my from plat in season 4.

Keep in mind this was during the time when lp gains weren't so friendly. Getting any higher was rough and I was stuck or rather I belonged there in season 4 but then I grew stronger and rose to plat in season 5. When I got to plat I didn't really know what to do to become better and I just ended practicing …

New Build

This one is actually for my daughter, but I will totally try sneaking a couple of games of League on it whenever I get the chance as I can’t push league to max settings on my MacBook Pro Retina at least not when running it on a Thunderbolt display with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M at a resolution that fills the screen.

Case: Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 Black
Mobo: Asus Maximus VIII Gene
CPU: Intel I7 6700K 4GHz LGA 1151
Ram: 16 GB (2x8 modules) Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz DDR4
Video: eVGA Geforce GTX 970
P/S: Corsair CS750M
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX (self-contained water cooler)
HD: Samsung V-NAND SSD 950 Rro M.2 512 GB
2HD: Seagate 3TB SATA (simply for storage)
OS: Windows Pro 10 64-Bit

Its been at least five years since I built my last computer which this one this is replacing. It still runs well, but it really needs a format and a fresh installation of Windows.

So this build was somewhat about playing with some of the new components that are available like the Samsung V-…

Looking to join serious and positive ranked twam

TL;DR - Looking for serious, yet positive ranked team to join. I play support, adc, and top.

Hi there. I am looking for a ranked team that is willing to accept a person like me. I starting playing League near the end of season 3, and I mained support in season 4 and in this past season, I worked on maining both adc and top lane. Currently, I am Silver 4 in ranked, but my goal is to get to Plat by the end of this upcoming season. I want to try to get into the competitive part of league, but everyone that I play with doesn't take the game seriously or takes it too seriously. I want a team that will not only take rank seriously, but all be positive and supportive instead of toxic all while playing in ranked and participating in tournaments. If anyone knows a good team, my league ign is GnarlyToasterOvn. Friend me and let me know. Thanks :)

Keystone Masteries Part 2/3

Hello again!

This is part 2 of my keystone trilogy and I'm happy to see you again or if you are new that you want to read my post. For those who are new, read the first part Keystone Masteries Part 1/3 because there I go over the ferocity tree. You might notice that I have a rather positive attitude towards the cunning tree if you've read the first post. Without further ado, let's start with the next tree.

Cunning

I would rate this as the best tree of all three because it offers every champion something useful. It resembles the old utility tree but there are also some offensive types of masteries.

Stormraider's surge

Dealing 30% of a champion's maximum Health within 2 seconds grants you 35% Movement Speed for 3 seconds (10 second cooldown).

In my opinion it's a pretty cool mastery. I would also say it's rather balanced as it only offers utility in form of movement speed if you deal damage to a champion within 2 second and has also a reasonable cooldown. I think riot did here …

being a god

So on the off chance that you are indeed a god like me you will understand the utter horror of being too good. When you put yourself at every disadvantage (such as ap zed (no liche bane)) and you still win it's very hard to keep wanting to play. It's scary man when you see children clinging onto your legs weeping and begging for mercy, but you can't give any mercy because the objective of the game is to win. I just wish I could be as good as everyone else so I wouldn't have to live this life.
