Hi there, my name is Yamata. I play League since 2014. Currently Im in Bronze. But Im climbing the ranked games right now. Im an Akali OTP with 150+k pts. I've seen many changes on Akali and other champs so I've learned many different Tipps and Tricks.

Akali is an Toplane/Midlane Assassin. She has strong poke damage with Five Point Strike. Because of the high energy costs Presence of Mind is the best option in her runes. As first item you should get Hextech Gunblade.

PROS + High mobility + Much burst damage + Big outplay potential + Carry potential + Nearly invisible Akali is one of many Assassins in League of Legends. What makes her special is her Twilight Shroud. With this ability Akali can start a 1vs1. If she threatens to lose she can use her Twilight Shroud to ecape hot situations. She can also use simple combos, such as Five Point Strike + Assassin's Mark + Shuriken Flip to deal a high amount of burst damage

CONS - Hard to master - Vulnerable to cc - Very squishy in early - Sensitive to poke Although Akali is one of the best duelists in whole LoL. But like the most champs, Akali is very vulnerable to cc champs such as Leona, Nautilus or Galio. Champions like Syndra, Gangplank or Irelia can poke you very hard in the Laning phase.

Conqueror - Basically its for more heal during longer fights. Remember that you can proc Conqueror with a simple combo. Five Point Strike+ Assassin's Mark+ Shuriken Flip+Reactivating E+ Assassin's Mark.

Presence of Mind - Usefull for the Early and Mid Game because the energy costs for Five Point Strike are very high

Legend: Bloodline - Just for that extra lifesteal. Use it with Perfect Execution in harder fights to get more heal.

Coup de Grace - Works perfect with the second instance of Perfect Execution.

Taste of Blood - Stacks perfect with Legend: Bloodline.

Ravenous Hunter - Stacks also good with Taste of Blood and Legend: Bloodline

FLASHYou usually take Flash with you. It's good for escaping and outplay your enemies. Use it to get in range for Perfect Execution or Shuriken Flip.

TELEPORTNormally you take Teleport. Use it to get faster back to your lane or support your Botlane in hot situations.

You schould always build this items! Hextech Gunblade is essential on Akali. Use it to slow your enemie and get him into your Perfect Execution range. Lich Bane is also essential on Akali. It gives you extra Movement Speed and Cooldown Reduction. You build Rabadon's Deathcap mainly because of that 120 additional Ability Power. The 40% AP increase works perfect with Hextech Gunblade.

Sorcerer's Shoes > Magic Penetration Sorcerer's Shoes are a good options if you build Guardian Angel instead of Void Staff. Ionian Boots of Lucidity > Cooldown Reduction There are games when you need to trade fast. For example: Against Ornn you have to trade fast because his Forgefire Cape deals massive damage.

| Range: / | Cooldown: / | Cost: / | When Akali deals damage to a champion, a ring of energy is created around her. If Akali leaves the ring, her next auto attack will benefit from additional range and damage. Akali get a Movement Speed buff when running towards the outside of the ring. If Akali steps outside the ring she get another Movement Speed buff towards enemy champions.

| Range: 500 | Cooldown: 1.5 sec. | Cost: 120/115/110/105/100 | Akali throws five Kunai, dealing physical damage based on her additional attack damage and ability power. Hit enemies are also slowed.

| Range: 250 | Cooldown: 20 sec. | Cost: Restores 80 energy | Akali camouflages herself with a shroud and receives a short time increased Movement Speed. Within the shroud Akali is invisible and cannot be targeted by enemy abilities or attacks. When she attacks or uses abilities, she becomes visible for a short time.

| Range: 650 | Cooldown: 16/14,5/13/11,5/10 | Cost: 30 | Akali performs a short dash backwards and throws a Shuriken forward, dealing physical damage. The first enemy hit or the first part of her shroud hit is marked. Casting the ability again will cause Akali to jump to the marked target and deal additional damage.

| Range: 675 - 825 (depending on distance to enemie) / 750 | Cooldown: 100/80/60 | Cost: / | Akali dashes to a target enemy champion, dealing physical damage to all enemies hit. Akali can recast her R and dash in a custom direction, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit, increased by 0%-200% (based on the target's missing health).

Akali's Early Game is very hard. As an assassin she needs to get level 2 before her enemy. That means you have to kill the hole first wave and the melee plus one caster creep of the second wave. Summarized you have to kill 10 creeps to reach level 2. Try to trade until you hit level 3. Akali reaches her first powerspike with level 3. Now try to all in the enemy. If you successfully kill the enemy and you are over 70% health you can stay and farm.(Don't forget to ward) But if you haven't over 70% health you should go back and by Amplifying Tome and a Control Ward.

Until you hit level 6 you don't have much to do. Just farm and try to trade with Five Point Strike+ Assassin's Mark.

In the Mid Game Akali is looking to get as many kills as possible. Try to roam and use Perfect Execution as often as possible. By this time you should have you Hextech Gunblade alredy completed wich will help you in securing kills and hunt the enemy down.
If you are behind and you don't have you Hextech Gunblade completed, try to farm as many creeps as you can. In this case I advise you to buy Ionian Boots of Lucidity for the extra Cooldown Reduction. However if you want to towerdive a low health enemy, make sure to throw a Shuriken Flip into your Twilight Shroud out of tower range to escape.

In teamfights Akali is never supposed to stand in the frontline. Try to sneak up behind the enemies and destroy their backline. If you have a Tahm Kench in your team, you can easily get behind the enemy with Devour.

Akali's Late Game is very strong if you are ahead. At this point you should not stop farming. Try to splitpush other lanes or help your team with objectives such as the Baron or the Elder drake . If your team is not that good you can still carry this game. Just make sure to focus the enemy ADC/APC.
