Hey what's up MOBAFire? Welcome to my Season 10 League of Legends Champion Guide! Today I'll be covering TOP Lane Nasus, The Curator of the Sands. "The cycle of life and death continues. We will live, they will die." Guide for Nasus for Season 10. I'm going to cover:

+ Amazing late game + Great in 1v1's + Scales infinitely + Destroys towers quickly + Built-in sustain + Very tanky with ultimate Alright, so let's start off this champion Guide by looking at Nasus's PROS. First off all, Nasus has an amazing late game due to almost infinite scalling, so the longer a game goes, the stronger Nasus will get. He's great in 1v1, especially at late game, where he's gonna be a really tanky champion yet do a lot of damage. He'll destroy towers really quick as well with his [Q] Siphoning Strike ability and, of course a Sheen and built-in sustain from Nasus's passive. Finally, Nasus is a very tanky champion especially during his [R] Fury of the Sands ultimate in which he gets a bunch of bonus resistances and a lot of health thus making him a champion really hard to bring down. |
- Bad early game - Easy to kite - Limited mobility - Needs Q Stacks! - Mediocre teamfighter - No dash or escape Nasus however, is pretty bad in the early game when he's not gonna have that much damage or be very tanky, he also doesn't really have any sources of mobility so he's rather Easy to kite. Of course, Nasus needs to focus on getting his [Q] Siphoning Strike Stacks, and if he's unable to acquire these throughout early game he's not gonna be that late game powerhouse. Finally, he's also a pretty Mediocre teamfighter, sure he's pretty damn tanky with his [R] Fury of the Sands ultimate and does do a lot of damage if he can Stack enough, but the fact that he's Easy to kite is a big issue against most compositions. |
For my Runes I like to go for Precision and Resolve taking Conqueror as the Keystone. As a bruiser who excels as extended fights, Conqueror's prolonged damage and healing output make you a beast to deal with. |

For your summoner spells I'd recommend sticking Flash and Ghost or Teleport. Either Flash or Ghost have their advantages, with the former to better survive the early game and aggressive ganks, and the latter granting Nasus more long term mobility to chase enemies down ( Flash and Ghost is better against a Kayle for example, and a Kayn in Jungle, safe matchups or VS Ranged in TOP Lane, better for fight, better for chase enemies, and better for stick).
NOTE: Teleport is better against a Darius for example, and a Jarvan IV in Jungle, hard matchups, for more safely and good for splitpush safely).

For this order, you'll always focus to put a point into your [Q] Siphoning Strike ability since the cooldown goes down every time you upgrade it, allowing you to stack it just a little bit quicker (Especially with 45% CDR). Then focus on maximizing your [E] Spirit Fire ability second VS Melee/Fighter or Tanky because reduce the targets armor allowing you to do more damage and also it will do some nice AoE damage. Finally, upgrade your [W] Wither ability last but make sure you take a point in the ability at level four so you can actually slow and cripple your enemies, this will allow you to walk out of bad situations and of course stick onto targets with the slow that it provides. Never forget to upgrade your ultimate [R] Fury of the Sands whenever you can at LV:6, LV:11 and LV:16. Matchup examples: Aatrox, Darius, Garen, Irelia, Jax. . . |

You will maximize the [W] Wither of second against Ranged Champions / Against Champions that are based on AA (Auto-Attack). Just like for example a Gnar at the TOP, a Lucian or a Vayne. Because Skill [W] Wither decreases Attack Speed, one reason and the second reason is because it decreases Movement Speed, helping him to get close to the Enemy, so he doesn't escape from Nasus. NOTE: Just be sure to always maximize the [Q] Siphoning Strike for the Nasus first, as it is more important, it will increase the Damage, and decrease the CDR (Making you Stack faster, especially with 45% CDR). Don't forget to maximize the [E] Spirit Fire last, and also don't forget to always upgrade your ultimate [R] Fury of the Sands in LV:6, LV:11 and LV:16. Matchup examples: Gnar, Lucian, Vayne, Jayce, Ryze. . . |

Try and focus on stacking your [Q] Siphoning Strike as much as possible during the lane phase so you'll be a really strong champion in the mid and late game.
Nasus is a champion that's pretty easy to farm under tower on so if you can, let the enemy push the lane and farm safely under your own tower until you're strong enought to fight.
|
If you do see an opportunity however, make sure you're using your [Q] Siphoning Strike on any squishy carries near you to take out a big chunk of their health.
Finally, make sure you drop your [E] Spirit Fire on the enemies to reduce their armor so your team hits harder and use [W] Wither on an enemy champion who is auto attack based.
