Hi, Im ArchersLegend a low Elo player. I'm not especially good at the game but I have a good grasp on all the mechanics and stats. I stream almost daily and hope you all will take interest in my build and me! This build page is WIP and as such doesn't have much in the way of a guide, so untill I've written that please read notes I left on the item sets!

Again take my advice with a grain of salt, but here is my guide on laning with teemo.

I mostly play in the top lane, and I have noticed that other teemos in bronze/silver don't understand how to balance farming/poke/being aggressive/playing safe. Depending on what build of teemo you are going will affect how poky or aggressive you should be. Your first priority is farm, and your second is oppressing you enemy laner. If you are fighting against a melee laner, push your advantage and poke them hard when you arent hitting minions. Make sure you are only last hitting minions because all the time you spend hitting minions and not killing them can be used to poke down your enemy laner. Freezing lane is the most optimal play to go for unless, you are being oppressed heavily or you are ahead and their jungle is ignoring lane.

If you are being heavily oppressed, play safe. It's a thing you hear a lot but it is important to understand how to properly play safe as a teemo. When playing safe, you need to make sure you are behind your minions at all times, and you should only be last hitting minions and not poking. If they start to push into your wave so you can reach the minions, sit a little bit in front of your tower. Farm the minions you can before they crash on tower and when they hit tower take advantage of the opportunity, and poke the enemy laner if they get too close. Going invisible under tower is also a great strategy if they don't know you are there. If you can, position yourself within tower range but as close to lane as you can. Wait till they go up to hit tower then reveal yourself with a quick q and autos as you run close to your tower.

If you have an easy lane on the other hand, they take too many hits or jungle is ignoring top lane, make sure you are well warded and hard push them under tower. You can sit a little bit out of tower range, and poke them when they go to hit minions, this allows you to quickly weave in and out of tower range without getting hit and suppress their farm.
