[11.6] AD Twisted Fate (Discovered/Invented by Jebsu)

By Shazzaam
Introduction

Welcome to my in AD Twisted Fate guide

Hello, my name is Shazzaam. I'm a low diamond hardstuck that likes to play off meta things. I used to adore AD Kennen, but since it was completely removed from the game I was trying to find something similar. In season 9 I found Klepto Trinity Twisted Fate (also discovered by Jebsu) and I fell in love with it. But Klepto was removed. Luckily, Jebsu is back with updated Trinity Twisted Fate build. I have watched a lot of Jebsu's games and played a lot of games with this build and I hope that with this guide I'll be able to explain this build to you since its really really strong.
Pros and Cons
PROS
+ Insane 1 item powerspike
+ Global Presence
+ Lot of fun to play
+ Has a lot less counters than standard Twisted Fate
+ Flexible (Can go Top or Bot if you want to)
CONS
- Hard to pull off
- Really weak and squishy until Ruby Crystal + Sheen
- You will have Mana problems
Runes
PHASE RUSH
Phase Rush gives you soo much mobility and kiting potential. This rune is beyond overpowered right now for immobile champions such as Twisted Fate and Orianna as it fixes their main weakness.

PRESS THE ATTACK
Gives you more damage in 1v1's while sacrificing mobility from Phase Rush. Good rune to abuse bad early game champions like Kassadin but nothing else.

PROTOTYPE: OMNISTONE
Predator nerfs hit this rune soo hard that I cannot even recommend it. It's viable but I would rahter go for Unsealed Spellbook than Prototype: Omnistone if I needed to have both Biscuit Delivery and Time Warp Tonic.

UNSEALED SPELLBOOK
It's not a bad rune because you get access to all Summoner Spells, but then you're missing a keystone. I would only go for this Rune if I really needed to have access to both Ignite and Exhaust or Teleport/ Ghost.
Summoner Spells

SUMMONER SPELLS
-
FLASH: Self explanatory. Always take it.
IGNITE: Ignite helps you in 2v2 and kill pressure while roaming. Overall good early game summoner spell.
TELEPORT: Teleport is strong at all stages of the game. In early game, you can use it to recall at awkward timings and still catch minions, removing kill pressure enemy had on you and gives you even more pressure in later game.
GHOST: This summoner spell is really really busted with Nimbus Cloak. The amount of movement speed you gain from this summoner spell is insane and it gives you a lot of catch potential, especially with Rapid Firecannon.
EXHAUST: This summoner spell is amazing vs assassins and burst champions. It reduces their damage by 40%. Strongly recommended into assassins if you struggle vs them.
Items

STARTING ITEMS

This item helps us survive the laning phase and it also gives us more money to spend since we won't be needing to buy Health Potion's every time we recall since it autorefills itself.
I would only go this when I run Press the Attack and I want to bully enemy laner. Provides you solid sustain because of Omnivamp but you need to manage your mana otherwise you'll run out of it very very fast.

MYTHIC ITEM

This item is really really busted on Twisted Fate. It gives him everything he needs except AP, but that's why we're moving onto more onhit consistent damage dealer style than burst heavy style. Also the mythic passive will keep giving 250g for every Legendary item you build. The more you are in combat the stronger your Auto's will become and your Spellblade effect since it gives you more Base Attack Damage. (Base Attack Damage increase is worth 1000-1400 gold). Overall very cost effect item on Twisted Fate.
This item was nerfed and it no longer works on Towers so we cannot have Demolish every 1.5 second, but it's still great if you want more burst at 1 item. Also, Mythic passive is insane on AD Twisted Fate since you will do around 45% physical and 55% magic damage so you can utilize both penetrations really well.
Amazing swap for Trinity Force when you're full build. This item just makes Twisted Fate's late game even greater and as long as you keep enemies stunned they'll die no matter how fed they are (Similar to AD Kennen back in old days).

BOOTS CHOICE

Combined with Phase Rush, you have a lot of mobility and slow resistance. If you don't need to buy Ninja Tabi or Mercury's Treads, buy these.
You mostly buy them into AD champions or champions that auto attack a lot.
These are a must vs a lot of crowd control.

2ND AND 3RD ITEM CHOICE

This item is broken on Twisted Fate. You gain 150 bonus range on your auto atatcks and combined with your gold card, you have long range point and click stun. Buy this at some point in the game. Always get it, either as 3rd or 4th item. Don't get it as a 2nd item because you won't have damage. Only get it if the game is snowballing out of control and you have insane lead and you want to use it to pick targets off. If that's the case I would go Divine Sunderer into Rapid Firecannon.
This item is just made for Twisted Fate. It gives everything you would want on AD Twisted Fate. Also Twisted Fate benefited from Season 11 changes to this item (They removed sustain in favour of movement speed). I would get this item even vs full AD teams just because of how much damage you get with it and Trinity Force. Also another change that made Wit's End even better this season is that lifesteal works on onhit effects too.
Since onhit is lifestealable this item gives you a lot of sustain and also good damage. Reworked passive gives you mini Phase Rush which means you can go something like Press the Attack and still have like a mini version of Phase Rush while dealing more damage in 1v1's. Not to forget this item is amazing vs tanks alongisde new Black Cleaver.

4TH ITEM CHOICE

Gives you good wave clear and a lot of attack speed. Also, there's one interaction, but don't tell Riot about it (It stacks your E faster). Even without that interaction the item is amazing for AoE damage and wave clear. Combined with something like Ravenous Hydra and you have insane sustain. I would get this If you went for Wit's End and Rapid Firecannon and there are no tanks on Enemy Team.
Really good item. Think of it like a mini Lethal Tempo that gives you more Movement Speed and also Ghosting (You basically ignore unit collision). I would honestly go for this if you go for Divine Sunderer instead of Trinity Force.
Combined with Blade of the Ruined King and Tanks stand no chance against you. Gives you nice health boost and ability haste is not bad.

ITEMS TO END YOUR BUILD

I would only get this if I had 2+ crit items because the passive of this item converts crit into onhit effect. Also you don't have to stack it anymore to get it's passive which triggers your onhit effects twice every 3rd auto.
I would only get this item after Runaan's Hurricane since combined with that item gives a lot of sustain. Also Ability Haste is nice since it means more stuns and more ults.
This is mostly to buff your damage up if you went for something like Rapid Firecannon and Runaan's Hurricane. You only really buy it if you have 2+ crit items.
Spear of Shojin version idk what. Only get it if you have atleast 2 crit items. It provides a lot of Ability Haste which means more stuns and ultimates. Also Navori Quickblades passive synergizes with Runaan's Hurricane.
Good 4th or 5th item if you need Armor and more tanky.
Good Anti-Heal option. Also now it gives crit which combined with Rageknife/ Guinsoo's Rageblade gives you more onhit damage.
Good agressive Cleanse option and synergizes very well with crit and Rageknife/ Guinsoo's Rageblade build.
More defensive oriented Cleanse option since it gives Health and Magic Resistance
Good last item if you want to be Tanky since it gives both Armor and Magic Resistance.
Synergizes very well with Twisted Fate since you give 10% more damage to yourself and your teammates when you stun someone.
Always get it vs Ivern. You'll ruin him. It'll help you deal with shields, but the bad part of this item is that it doesn't give you Attack Speed because it's supposed to be Assassin item. Still decent if you struggle to deal with shields, but I would build this as last item when I already maxed out (or I'm close to maxing out) Attack Speed. QUICK NOTE: If the item damage is bigger than a shield, extra damage will be taken away from health.
This item is viable on Twisted Fate, but it's outclassed by Black Cleaver. While it gives a lot of % Armor Penetration and Ability Haste is nice and it works with your Pick A Card, so you don't even need Red Cards, unless you want AoE slow, but by the time late game comes around you'll use Gold Cards 90% of the time because as long as you stun someone you'll be able to 1v1 them.
I'm still trying this as a 2nd item replacement instead of Wit's End/ Blade of the Ruined King. The Attack Speed when you're in a 1v1 and Life Steal/Physical Vamp is nice, but the damage of Wit's End is still unmatched. Just weird item overall. I also tried Divine Sunderer and then Sanguine Blade, but since Divine Sunderer no longer works like a mini demolish on towers, I gave up on it. If you think its good, then go ahead, but from my testing Wit's End is still the king of damage for 2nd item on AD Twisted Fate.
Abilities
PASSIVE
ABILITY
LOADED DICE (Passive): Upon killing a unit, Twisted Fate rolls his 'lucky' dice receiving anywhere between 1 and 6 bonus gold. Because of this passive, even if you fall behind in CS you're going to be relatively close in gold.
Q
WILD CARDS (Q): Twisted Fate throws three cards, dealing damage to each enemy unit they pass through. We max this first because this is our main waveclear ability with our Red Card since it has high base damage and the cooldown is quite low.
W
PICK A CARD (W): Twisted Fate chooses a magic card from his deck, and uses that for his next attack, causing bonus effects. We max this ability second.

Red Card deals Area of Effect damage. At level 7-8 with Wild Cards you can one shot casters. Also you can use it onto the towers and poke the enemies when they're hugging the tower.

Yellow Card stuns the target for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds, but has the lowest damage out of the three. This card will help you a lot in 1v1's since you'll often be hitting ~2 Attack Speed.

Blue Card has the highest base damage out of the 3 cards and it restores 50/75/100/125/150 mana. Good for lasthitting minions and if you're playing with Prototype: Omnistone and you get Dark Harvest don't be scared of plashing onto low people in early game, especially if you have stacked your Stacked Deck.
E
STACKED DECK (E): Every 4 attacks, Twisted Fate deals bonus damage. In addition, his Attack Speed is increased. This helps a lot with farming creeps under tower. You can use the enhanced attack combined with Pick A Card for a quick trade with the opponent. Even tho we're build a lot of attack speed, we max this ability last since it isn't that useful until later stages of the game.
R
DESTINY (R): Twisted Fate predicts the fortunes of his foes, revealing all enemy champions and enabling the use of Gate, which teleports Twisted Fate to any target location in 1.5 seconds.
It grants Twisted Fate True Sight on all enemy champions on the map for 6/8/10 seconds. While Destiny is active, Twisted Fate can teleport up to 5500 units away in 1.5 seconds.

This is what makes Twisted Fate such a strong SoloQ champion. With it you can get other lanes ahead and you can splitpush like you have Teleport since it's semi global. Also don't be scared of using it for vision around objectives and versus champions such as Kha'Zix, Shaco, Twitch etc.

How to play this build?

Early Game

Always start Corrupting Potion. This helps you survive early game.
Early game with this build is the hardest part. You want to harass the enemy as much as possible, but don't give CS for that. Always prioritize getting a CS over getting 1 basic attack on enemy. Against champions with bad early wave clear, last hit first 2 waves and try to stack them and when cannon minion wave comes, push the wave in to reset it. It will give you time to ward, help your jungle with scuttle crabs or you can just base. Your best way of trading is with Pick A Card and Stacked Deck. You almost never get early game solo kills, so you should just focus on farming.
First back must always be Ruby Crystal and Sheen. It provides you with tankiness and some burst damage.

Mid Game

By now you should have your Trinity Force. Before you finish your 2nd big item, Twisted Fate relies heavily on his Q base damage and Sheen damage. At this point he has a hybrid with spell damage and autos, but not pure dps. Try to shove your wave in and roam, but be careful with spamming Q since your mana isn't that high (That's why we usually take Attack Speed mini rune). Even if you cannot straight ult to your sidelanes, you should go out of vision to put pressure on enemy midlaner, and it'll lead to panic pinging to his sidelanes. When you leave vision, you put a lot of pressure because of your Destiny and with you going out of vision you can take off some pressure from your sidelanes in tough matchups and you protect them from 2v1 scenarios. When you get 2-3 items you should look to pick people off. By this point unless people are fed as **** you can 1v1 them pretty easily. Try to look for lone ADC farming in sidelane without his support. Don't be scared to just ult onto them.

Late Game

You should get to sidelane and pressure enemy team. At this point you can easily 1v1 everyone, especially if you have Exhaust. Also try to flank enemy team with your Destiny. Most people don't watch where you ult at this point in the game, and ulting behind enemy in some bush that they don't have vision can win you the fight.
Tips and Tricks
1. At 1:20 go to enemy Raptors and place the ward in the middle of raptors camp and red buff's wall. This will show enemy jungler and by looking at his CS you'll be able to figure out what camps he did (Every camp is 4 CS). This can help your jungler a lot.

2. Try to stop enemy midlaner basing with your Q.

3. Look at your minimap as much as possible. Also you can hold F-keys F1-F4 (By default F1 focuses on you;change that so F1-F4 focuses on your teammates since you probably use spacebar to focus on yourself. Also you shouldn't use locked camera) to look at teammates point of view.

4. When you activate Pick A Card, walk up to the enemy while its rotating. That way you can zone them from minions.

5. If you have Prototype: Omnistone and you get Dark Harvest, stack your E and pick Blue Card and just flash onto low HP target in early game.
Useful videos

Here are some useful videos that explain wave management and controlling waves

Skins
I use skins in this order, with High Noon and Cutpurse being the main ones, while other 3 are not bad. Underworld Twisted Fate used to have highly transparant and small particle visuals on both the AA animation and Wild Cards, but in my experience playing with that skin at ~2 Attack Speed is really awkward and quirky.
Conclusion
Thank you for reading my guide. I hope you found this guide helpful.
