I am a 3 seasons Challenger in Vietnamese Server, mainly ADC and Top
I am also a person who really love to try new builds, and does not hesitate when coming to test it out, so you can ensure the quality of this build.
Why Viktor Top? Because he is a beast when facing against Melee Champions, which is very common in Top. And he is very suitable with new Fighter/Tank Items despite being an AP Champion.

My Challenger account in Vietnam, but sadly Mobafire don't verify Vietnamese server.Why should you use my guide and not any other Viktor or Top guide? Because I am a first person to make, to use, and to write about a Viktor Guide following AD Path that no one have written before.

+ Powerful through the whole match.
+ Easy Grasp of the Undying proc.
+ Great movement advantage.
+ Deal great at both AD/AP damage.

+ Damage fallout during endgame.
+ Easy to get ganked before Augment Q.
+ Effective range within Q range
+ Bad waveclear.

Flash: Best Summoner Spell in the game, always use this.

Teleport: Good for come back to lane to farm or flank, take this if you are in a good match-up.

Ignite: Take this if you feel like killing early on, very good for Glorious Evolution.

Cleanse: If you feel like 51% Tenacity from Legend: Tenacity and Mercury's Treads is not enough, this is a wildcard for you.

Exhaust: Facing early powercard or assassin like Riven, Fiora or even Zed, then this is the perfect encouter.

Grasp of the Undying: This is a really good tools for poking in early game, and healing during mid/end game. It also increase 3 Health every proc so try to poke enemies as much as possible during lane phase.

Shield Bash: Without hesitation, this the best Tier 1 Rune for Viktor here. It increase Armor and MR after Siphon Power by a fair ammount while increase your Enhance AA damage by a significant number. You will be suprised how much damage can your Siphon Power + dealt with Sheen, Grasp of the Undying and Shield Bash combined during early game.

Conditioning: This is a good choice for tanks in general, since you are going for items that has Armor and MR. You can also get Second Wind if you against another poking top, or Bone Plating if they can engage and deal damage hard.

Overgrowth: This is the most valuable choice in Tier 3 Rune for this path. Revitalize and Unflinching is a fine choice but won't make much different compare to Overgrowth.

Presence of Mind: Viktor is Mana hungry even when you only going to spam Siphon Power and Gravity Field, so this is a sollution for that.

Legend: Tenacity: If you want to yeet out Mercury's Treads for other boots but still want 30% Tenacity, then just take this. Coup de Grace/ Last Stand is another fine choice for damaging and are considable for different toplane match-up.
Glorious Evolution (Passive): Viktor can augment his basic abilites after gained 100 Hex Fragments, which obtain from killing:

Minions and monsters give 1 Hex Fragment
Large minions give 5 Hex Fragments
Champion Takedown give 25 Hex Fragments

Chaos Storm will be augmented after all his basic abilities does.

Siphon Power (Q): Viktor blast an enemy, dealing damage while shielding himself and enhance his next .

Augment: Increase the shield value by 60% and grant 30% bonus MS after using Siphon Power.

Gravity Field (W): Viktor place down a gravitational field that slow enemies on it. Those are slowed for 1.5 seconds are stunned for 1.5 seconds.

Augment: Viktor's basic abilities apply 20% Slowness to enemies on hit.

Death Ray (E): Viktor uses his robotic arm to fire a chaos beam that cuts across the field in a line, dealing damage to all enemies in its path.

Augment: An explosion follows the Death Ray's wake, dealing magic damage.

Chaos Storm (R): Viktor conjures a singularity on the field which deals magic damage and interrupts enemy channels. The singularity then periodically does magic damage to all nearby enemies. Viktor can redirect the singularity.

Augment: The Chaos Storm moves 25% faster.

Ability Sequence

Siphon Power is maxed first because this is your main tool for trading in lane phase and damaging during teamfight. During lane phase, try to use Siphon Power + whenever Grasp of the Undying is ready.
Augment: Increase 60% shield value and grant 30% MS for 2.5 seconds. This is your wildcard for kitting the enemies and repositioning during teamfight, so this is a must augment first.

Gravity Field is maxed second because the slowness and the stun is no joke in teamfight. It also a very good tool for countering engagement during lane phase, just place it in your feet whenever their top try to engage.
Augment: Your basic abilities apply 20% Slowness for 1 second on hit. This is your second augment because of it continue to enhance your kitting abilities by keeping your enemies slow.

Death Ray is maxed last because with this build, you only have decent AP during end game. So this will get maxed last to save on Mana and so on.
Augment:An explosion follows the Death Ray's wake, dealing magic damage. Since you have augment the 2 other abilities, this will be the last one to finally augment Chaos Storm.

Chaos Storm is gonna get upgraded in correct level because it is an Ultimate. Even tho you don't have any AP with this build, the damage that Chaos Storm offer is no joke compare to your total damage.
Augment: Chaos Storm move 25% faster.

Tear of the Goddess: This is your essential starting item for this build. It does not only solve your mana hungry in early game, where Presence of Mind does not have much effect, but it also help you achieve Muramana faster. Also, your enhanced from Siphon Power count as an ability, so you will stack pretty fast.

Corrupting Potion: This is one alternative choice when you are against tough match-up like Gnar or Riven. This will have you have a better laning phase to them since you will have more source of healing. But you will need to buy Tear of the Goddess later to avoid lacking Mana.

Divine Sunderer: This is without a doubt your essential Mythic Item for this build. It has everything you needed, from Health, AD, Ability Haste and even a Sheen passive that deal 10% Max HP of the enemies as damage.
Not only just that, its Mythic Passive offer 5% Armor/MR Penetration with every Legendary item, which is very good since you are going to do a good amount of AD/AP damage.

Muramana: Best item provide Mana for current Viktor. It give you a lots of AD for your enhanced , Mana for spamming and Ability Haste.
It passive even further enhance your damage by adding AD Damage to your abilities and .

Plated Steelcaps: A simple sollution when you are against AD Toplaner such as Riven, Darius or Illaoi.
Sorcerer's Shoes: My fav boots. You are semi AD-AP but hey, your AP Damage is still big so 18 Magic Penetration is helping.
Boots of Swiftness: Use this if you are against hard slow champion like Nasus or Ashe and don't want the MS boost from Augment Q get to waste. It also give +15 MS compare to other boots.

Void Staff: Go really well with Divine Sunderer MR Penetration. You can get up to 52% + 18 from Sorcerer’s Shoes. That will make you murder whoever you gonna deal damage to.

Wit's End: AD, Attack Speed, MS, AP Damage on-hit, MR, everything you need.

Thornmail: Your best friend against AD Healing champion, since it offer 60% Grievous Wonds by stunning with Gravity Field, which you are gonna do it anyway during combat. Also give great tanky stats.

Cosmic Drive: Your next best friend after Divine Sunderer and Muramana. Purely give you tons of AP, Ability Haste and MS. (Note: 2 Adaptive Rune + Void Staff + Cosmic Drive is 163 AP in total.

Banshee's Veil: AP, MR and a spellshield so you have a chance to get over your mistake.

Chemtech Putrifier: Grievous Wonds for days. Also have good amounts of AP and other stats.

If you finally bring out Viktor to Top Lane, you will notice that he can wintrade almost every match-up in there. Your plan during lane phase is to try to poke as much as possible to keep proc Grasp of the Undying for +3 Health while still farming for Glorious Evolution. Whenever your Grasp of the Undying is ready, walk up to the enemy top laner and simply do Q+ to trade. They will have to either gave up on CS, or trade with you. But you will always wintrade because of your Q. If they try to engage after the trade, use Gravity Field to stop their movement.

As a Viktor Top, you are quite vulnerable to ganking, so be sure to ask your Jungler to countergank whenever they try to gank you, or simply get Control Ward placed down deep in their Jungle and play safe.

If you do the step correctly, you should have Augment Q by 10-11 minutes mark. From that point, you can play the game more active by consistantly walk up to poke and then retreat with extra MS from Augment Q.
After you have finished the laning phase, you prob will have Augment Q+W or even all 3 abilities as well as having Divine Sunderer and Muramana. From this point, your job is to try to put pressure on their top laner, or use your Teleport to plank the other lane. You can also try to push towers and force their Jungler to gank you. Since you have Divine Sunderer, you can easily escape a 2-man gank or even kill them back. Either way, the movement of Viktor Top during these time is depends on your playstyle.

During Mid Game, teamfight for objective will also start operating. So make sure to have an eye on and take part whenever it happen, because you have the job of being a flank which will be hell da annoying.
Your job is to deal as much damage as possible while still staying alive. You will have to group up consistantly with your teammate. You act like a roamer who will go back and forth between teamfight, dealing damage with your Siphon Power and , applying CC or saving your teammate from Assassin with Gravity Field and interupt enemies casting abilities by using Chaos Storm.

Gravity Field can also be used to secure an entrance and keep the enemy at bay while your team kills baron, dragons, towers and so on.

-Use Gravity Field predictively, don't just use on where the enemies are (unless they already CC'ed). Try to place it in where the enemies gonna go to. Or place them whenever they stuck in an ability or animations. You can also place Gravity Field on your feet whenever their top laner try to engage, and try to play around it. It can also be used to close off entrance or secure objective.

-Your Chaos Storm can be used to interupt enemies channeling abilities on cast. For example it can stop Death Lotus, Destiny or Requiem and so on.
