Permaban every game. If she buys bramble you can't lane. Ask to swap or don't leave tower. I hate Fiora so this may be biased.
Yuumi
Healing is nice. Visage is a good choice here.

I am gold 1 (in flex queue!!).
I play for fun.
I don't care about ranked.
I don't main Kayn.
This pick is fun.

I only play Kayn in the top lane.

EARLY LANE
The best items to start are either Doran's Shield or Doran's Blade depending on matchups. Doran's Shield is the best call most of the time as in most matchups (such as Renekton or Darius) you will be engaged on early and won't have much kill pressure. Doran's Blade is good against lanes such as Kayle where an early kill is possible.
I personally don't like Corrupting Potion for sustain over Doran's Shield as I find Doran's Shield much more consistent. However, early it does help with mana issues after trying short engages for orbs.
MID GAME
After short trades in lane and generating enough orbs for Rhaast, 1v1s should be much easier with Eclipse and the passive lifesteal from The Darkin Scythe. By now it should be possible to out trade your laner by lifestealing from Conqueror and Taste of Blood ( Legend: Bloodline wont be much use yet). Here is where you build a lead over your opponent using farm and trades. Look for roams and fights with your team after completing Eclipse, Kindlegem and your Mercury's Treads or Plated Steelcaps. With these items and the knockup from Blade's Reach you have enough damage and utility to peel for your carries and win teamfights.
Pros
+ Strong 1v1 potential + Good waveclear + Fun to play + Good teamfighter + Form powerspike almost always underestimated + Good utility with Blade's Reach |
Cons
- Easily countered by grievous wounds - Easily countered by ranged matchups - Matchup can delay form depending on ranged/melee - Not a reliable carry |
Most of the time laning phase will end up a loss due to poor trades before Rhaast is available. Safely farming
orbs using Blade's Reach and disengaging with Shadow Step. After form and farming enough gold for Phage and/or Caulfield's Warhammer 1v1s become much easier and try to utilise Conqueror and Taste of Blood to win trades.
Reaping Slash > Auto Attack > Blade's Reach > Auto Attack > Shadow Step
The key to surviving in lane and coming back is farming minions and sustaining from Legend: Bloodline and Taste of Blood.

Reaping Slash > Auto Attack > Blade's Reach > Auto Attack > Shadow Step
Is an easy combo to out trade your opponent and disengage. Shadow Step is mana heavy and is not necessary.

Kayn's level 1 and 2 are surprisingly strong in top lane. It definitely wont beat champions like Darius, Kled or Nocturne but against champions like Tahm Kench and Irelia an all in can massively help or even kill.
With the recent buff to Reaping Slash's damage to minions, both hits are enough to kill casters throughout a lot of the early lane. This means you can trade into a wave and in the worst case sacrifice some health for some farm and orbs. Your objective in these trades is to fight enough to get form, but stay healthy enough to farm minions.

test quote
Kayn's teamfighting is very strong with Eclipse Black Cleaver and Sterak's Gage. He can dive in with Reaping Slash for engage and Blade's Reach a group of enemies as setup for carries. Play this as you would play any teamfight with Kayn - look for the Reaping Slash Blade's Reach combo and frontline for the AD carry. If you have Flash I think it's always worth going for a Flash Blade's Reach onto their main carry
Your role as a draintank is to get in the way and be annoying while not dying. Use Umbral Trespass when you fall below 30% health, this will be enough time to refund your other cooldowns. Landing a multi-person Blade's Reach into Reaping Slash combo can win entire teamfights for your team, whilst also healing you a ridiculuous amount.
