Updates / Changelogs
17/12/2011:-Created Updates/Changelogs section. -Created ''Facing especific opponents on mid''. -Created ''Ranked Play'' chapter

My masteries choices are pretty straight forward for casters on Offence tree, Why offence >Utility? Because more of the later tiers on Utility tree focus on:
-CDR (is good, but I would rather have more AP than CDR on Ahri, your Cool downs are low enough)
-Mana/Health Regeneration (Ahri doesn't suffers from Mana Issues and has Spell vamp on his passive to last longer enough on the lane)
-Lower CD on summoner spells (This is Great, but I would rather deal 6% more dmg with

-
: Flat AP to hurt harder on early game and may grant you a FB over a confident opponent that underestimate your early game power
-
: Magic penatration, pretty much a MUST on every caster, this marks +
will grant you 29 MP, enough to deal pretty much True Dmg on ever spell to squishes like
during mid game
-
: AP/LvL Glyphs will allow you to hit mid-game with a good amount of AP, and are also good for a come back if you failed on early
-
: Same as Glyphs
-
: Extra MPen, good for late game, but keep in mid, that will make
Void Staff weaker
-
: 3 of these will grant you 78hp, good if you are aggressive and like to take risks
-
: Will give you better early game start, perfect if you're trying to get FB or for early team fights, keep on mind that
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power beats them at lvl 6
-
: Same as Gylphs

The passive of
Ahri is named the same as
Nasus
Soul Eater, so you will see Nasus Icon instead of Ahri Soul Eater, I will update this ASAP, when I find a fix for this
-
Soul Eater: This passive grants you 35% SPELL VAMP! however, you will need to hit 9 targets first with your spells, and every spell can only grant a maximum of 3 charges, so during laning face when you passive is charged wait for a new minion wave and hit all with
Orb of Deception to be healed for 150hp or more. Thanks to this you can stay on lane as you want
-
Orb of Deception (Q): This is your main damage source, that deals Magic damage and True damage Works similar to
Sivir
Boomerang Blade, but
Orb of Deception Travels a little bit slower, so a good positioning when using this ability is needed
-
Fox-Fire (W): Great source of damage during Team Fights, but will only deal a maximum of 66% damage if only hits one target compared if the skill hits 3 different targets. Asume every hit will deal 100dmg, if it hits 3 different targets will be 300dmg, if it hits the same target will be 100+(100/2)+(100/2)=200 dmg, 200= 66% of 300
-
Charm (E): This is a UNIQUE SPELL, that deals damage and ''Charms'' the opponent, even if in game it says ''TAUNT'' the difference is that the enemies charmed even if they are in AA range they will just wait and don't Attack, is part of you Bread & Butter
Charm +
Orb of Deception
-
Spirit Rush (R): This Ultimate can be casted 3 times before going on CD , after first activation you will have 10 seconds to cast this twice more. Will attack the 3 Closest opponents from your casting place and will perform a dash ( similar range to
Shen
Shadow Dash ). This ultimate will allow you to gain the best Position on every team fight, chase fleeing opponents and keep you away from the enemy team. While Dashing you can cast
Ignite, keep that on mind.
The passive of
Ahri is named the same as
Nasus
Soul Eater, so you will see Nasus Icon instead of Ahri Soul Eater, I will update this ASAP, when I find a fix for this
Your ability combo is Very Flexible according to the situation, so there IS NO combo During team fights, however, when you're facing 1 on 1 enemies you will want to open with:

This is a pretty hard decision and you MUST be flexible to change this order according how the match is going, In every case you will UP your ultimate when possible, then you will

-
: I open with
Doran's Ring because it gives all you need early game HP, AP, and the MP/5 comes handy since you mana pool is low compared to other casters (280 at lvl 1), however, if you don't like Doran's items you can start with
Sapphire Crystal and 2
Health Potion. If you going to face an opponent that requires good speed to dodge skill shots like
Brand or
Ezreal Start with
Boots and 1-3
Health Potion
-
: 20 MP, 2 movement speed, pretty much the standard for every caster. If you don't like these or went for the
Greater Quintessence of Magic Penetration you can pick
Ionian Boots of Lucidity or
Boots of Swiftness. If the enemy team is FULL of CC's or Is Pure Magic Damage you could get
Mercury's Treads, IMO,
Sorcerer's Shoes> Any other pair of boots 90% of time
-
: Try to grab this item ASAP, even before
Sorcerer's Shoes if you are doing well. Grab Catalyst the Protector first, then Finish RoA
-
: I usually grab this item after my RoA, but don't upgrade to
Will of the Ancients until late game. The spell vamp of this item plus your passive grants you 50% of Spell Vamp, drop an
Orb of Deception to the enemy team and you're ready for the second round
So your Core Build looks like :Sorcerer's Shoes
Rod of Ages
Hextech Revolver, this is what you pick 99% of games, in the same order, then, moving to mid-late game you start building High AP/Cost items, and some defence if required
-
: 140Ap + A great Passive that will boost all you AP by 30% and 5% from masteries, once you finish this item you will have a 35% AP boost. I usually Buy
Needlessly Large Rod, but after upgrading this into
Rabadon's Deathcap I pick a
Giant's Belt, later upgraded into Rilai's Crystal Scepter
-
: 80AP+500HP + Slow on every Spell, YES SIR!, like I said Earlier I get
Giant's Belt and after finishing my
Rabadon's Deathcap I finish my Rylai. You can get
Rylai's Crystal Scepter earlier if your team lacs of CC or the match is not going really well and you need the extra HP earlier
- Void: I like to pick this as my sixth item, and if the enemy team is Stacking MR ( at least 3 opponents with 100+MR) since FLAT MR penetration applies first than %MR PEnetration
-
: 100Ap, a nice *** saver Active and 50 Armor. Best pick when facing High AD Teams. The Active has lot of uses, Stop
Ignite, DOT's wait for that 1sec CD
-
: This is Quite a good item with
Ahri Since her AA animation is quite fast, but if you decide to pick this ( Which will add insane damage, AP, mana and some MR) remember that you will have to Use Spell-AA-Use Spell-AA, not SPELL-SPELL-SPELL- AA, or you will be losing a lot of damage output
-
: Really good item when facing heavy Magic teams, will also get the enemy MR lower like a Debuff Aura so your whole team will benefit from these. Never pick
Void Staff with
Abyssal Mask
-
: Only pick this against Health Stacking Opponents, Like
Volibear, or if the whole enemy team have a huge HP Bar
-
: Pick this if the enemy team has heave CC, and during early game. Mid-Late you must sell this item to get better ones
Farming with

Moving into mid game with some AP you will be able to clear a minion wave with

I've never tried jungling with Ahri so far, but once I try it I will update this further
Keep in mind, that this won't make you invincible against the listed champions for the night to the morning, more of this explications REQUIRE practise (If you are used to AP Casters this will be lot easier).
Also if you want to add your OWN Tips or Tricks PM Me and I will publish them (Giving respective credits to the creator)
You will see the after the champions name the is an xxx/*****, that represents the difficulty setting. While: * or ** are mostly easy and don't mean any or only few challenge.
*** is Normal to Normal Hard, most of time up to the champions player and his specific mechanics.
**** is hard but still beatable on mid, but always face those champions on ''DEFENSIVE'' mode
***** is LEGENDARY difficult, will take a lot of practise to be able to beat any of those champions, and most of the time they will defeat you, so If you are new to AP Casters or

Always see if her Stun is UP or Down

Now, How to face Anivia? Well anivia can be a truly PAIN in the ***, I suggest starting with

The first 9 mins just play passive ( not tower hugging, but also don't taking risks like trying to get a FB 1 on 1, unless your jungler ganks.
Pretty much just last hit),and while doing this ANALYSE your opponent, always focusing in this points:
- Starting Items and mana Regeneration: See how fast her mana recovers after an spell, his mana poll size, in this way you will be able to get an idea about how many time is she able to keep battling 1 on 1 with you.
Flash Frost landing: Every
Anivia can land this, only good ones will make this slow, stun and double damage you. During the first mins see how many times she do to minions. If more of the 90%, probably you may have a hard time. Any lower ratios I wouldn't worry longer, since if she can't hit creeps with this, she will barerly get a x2 against a champion.
- Engaging:When trying to kill anivia there are 2 ways of doing this 1) Poke her until his passive is gone and kill her like a normal caster (
Crystallize is not a big deal thanks to
Spirit Rush), or, You're going to kill her while his passive is on. Before look for any mia's, towerdiving can be DEATHLY, Don't go aggressive unless you have all your CD's (
Flash &
Ignite included) and if you can count with your jungler help, even better.

Before engaging into the fight I suggest you to learn how your team partners moves, what their champion does, and find the prefect spot to boost and make the best use of yours and your team abilities, and pros.
Positioning is key, your role is to confuse the enemy team while moving around the battle field and dealing damage from every possible angle

What is True elo? True elo is the elo that you deserve in an specific moments, and to start rising it you need to carry yourself an a entire team, you will be able to do this when you play average better than you enemies (and partners)
Please, visit leaguesdf's blog : Champions and how to carry yourself on solo queue to understand this better.
IMO

What is Smart Cast? Is the binding of your keys so every skill shot works like a

To Turn On the smart cast on every one of your spells go to the option menu, Key Bindings, and where it says [Smar Cast Spell 1] change it binding for Q, [Smart Cast Spell 2] change it binding for W and do the rest with the other spells. The default binding of your smart cast is SHIFT+ Q, Shift+t, etc. But in this way you lose time pressing the Shift key
Before Turning On Smart Cast I suggest you to play a couple of game with Ahri first so you get used to her Abilities Range, once you are used to them, Turn it On
