Ashe is your basic ranged AD. While she is famous for hard-kiting, she has always been regarded as one of the weakest champions one-on-one. Her squishiness, naturally slow mobility and lack of sure-fire killing mechanism proves to be her greatest weaknesses. On the other hand, what she offers as a champion is a lot of awesome utilities. She has a free crit, natural perma-slow (her claim-to-fame), decent poke capability, line-vision ability and a global linear collision stun.

The reason I almost always take Teleport when playing Ashe is that it opens a lot of plays for her Crystal Arrow and what really made me fell in love with Ashe is this ultimate. Enchanted Crystal Arrow is the skillshot of skillshots. Landing a full-stun almost always earns your team a kill or, at the very least, an applause.

Her usual path is of an Infinity Edge-based AD carry, which is just logical. Her crisp attacks and Focus works best with Crit-AD oriented items (Builds 1 and 2) and she is usually built as such. She might not be the best one-on-one champion but strong plays and good teamwork allows Ashe to really shine as a carry.

While uncommon, her myriad of utilities can also make her a decent support (Build 4). Hawkshot can work like a better Clairvoyance. She can Frost Shot people while damage-dealers pummel them down or simply peel tanks away from carries. She can stun and slow opponents on an AoE. This might get some hate or disapproval from some people but I just want to show that the option is open for you to try and explore. You don't even need to follow my build if you have more creative things in mind.
