Spells:

Fury of the Dragonborn (PASSIVE)
Shyvana Passive Ability
Introduction

If you play alot of
Vayne,
Akali,
Shaco,
Katarina, or
LeBlanc ya understand its kill or be killed and thats how you have to play this build.
but out of all the champs this build feels like your playing a mix between AD/hybrid
Evelynn but your not invisible and your hell of alot more survivalable.
Try to imagine
Shyvana
Twin Bite is like
Evelynn
Hate Spike cause ya spam it as fast as it'll go for amazing dps
Shyvana
Youmuu's Ghostblade is like
Evelynn
Agony's Embrace since you activate it for extra movement speed and attack speed
Shyvana
Flame Breath is like a ranged version of
Evelynn
Ravage because it decreases armor but its just not as powerful and can multi hit (ya this ones a stretch but the rest are damn good comparions in my opinion)
Shyvana
Dragon's Descent is kinda like
Evelynn
Shadow Walk since this is your main tool of surprise and ganking
but 2 important things that
Evelynn doesnt have that are amazing for
Shyvana is she has a long, damaging and useful AoE and oh ya.. Eve doesnt turn into a ****ing dragon!

I play
Shyvana as a DPS carry/Assassin so basically that means ya usually wait for a fight to start or ya find a perfect moment to strike and initiate and take out an enemy champ before his buddies have time to react.
As any Assassin champion ya need to know who you can take out and who ya cant ya gotta know your limits and abilities to be a true threat and a great addition to your team
so in this part I'll explain how I deal with team fights
In Time Fights
Initiate
I initiate by ultimating on their carry or any squishy from some place they don't see me coming and then as soon as there dead I'll
Burnout and kite the rest usually that'll narrow it down to 2v1 when your team joins the fight and takes the attention of the rest, believe me if your along in the build and have your ult popped those 2 shouldn't be a problem at all, or if everyone still wants ya dead just let em chase and have your team pick em off, than if your too low to rejoin right away you can go hit some minions regain your health and come back pick off who's left or is vulnerable at the moment
or if your just fed which I usually I am you can just tank all the damage and pick yourself up some multikill action
Let someone else initiate
or the other way is you'll just wait for the tank to initiate than you'll ult in and just rape everyone and by the time your being focused your systematically taking em out one by one.
She is very vulnerable if someone has a stun and you try to initiate a team fight! they'll just ******** you and trust me its not fun, so let someone else initiate if ya know a champ has it out for you and stuns ya every chance they get, and trust me if your doing good you'll be on the top of everyone's ****list

Honestly I've tried and I've tried but I just think jungle
Shyvana is just a waste of time, I feel she just falls behind everyone else when she starts in the jungle, I'm not saying not to jungle because it helps the team amazingly, I'm saying starting in the jungle is. If you wait til lvl3-4 to start jungling you find it so much smoother to transition between jungler and roamer. I just feel jungling is a waste of a summoner skill for her and this method is by far the better choice for her, she doesn't struggle as much as you would grinding in the beginning as a standard jungler. none of my teammates ever had a problem with the experience gap when its that little that early.

Honestly my runes aren't the best possible use but this is because this is what I have bought and this is what works well for me, runes are too much work and just too expensive as **** to decide on whim to buy a set.
so I use just armor pen and atk speed and its working well for me so until I find something better I'm sticking with it
so I use just armor pen and atk speed and its working well for me so until I find something better I'm sticking with it
I use the standard 21/0/9 cause it gives me enough atk points but I also love the additional buff duration from
Utility Mastery
, if I could I would sacrifice the 4% power damage boost from
Havoc
for another point but its just not that worth it

Almost all my items are based on atk speed and shyv lives, breaths, and annihilates with atk speed. she needs atk speed for recharging
Dragon's Descent, to spam
Twin Bite like a mad man and to keep
Burnout from well burning out :P this is by far one of the best builds out there for recharging her fury bar quick. and all the life steal will keep you alive and trashing through a whole team fight.
Berserker's Greaves
whats an attack speed build without these? ya feel the enemy has too much cc you can get
Mercury's Treads but I haven't had too much of a problem that required em
Zeke's Harbinger
for starters I've tried alot of different first items and I've come to love
Zeke's Harbinger with its atk speed, health Regen and the almighty life-steal this is a great start for both you and your allies. And it helps keep you jungling and roaming longer so you'll gank better and farm more and that'll help ya get a nice lead on the rest of the team.
Youmuu's Ghostblade
I love having this item early on, I cant count how many times this item when activated has let me chase down an opponent that would of normally got away or gave me just enough atk speed to kill an enemy who looked like they had the upper advantage. plus the armor pen and CD reduction are just icing on the cake
*REMEMBER TO ACTIVATE THIS ITEM!* I can't think of how many times when I first started using this item I realized after a fight that "OMFG I could of killed him" or "OMFG I could of got away!" It's always better to use this item and waste it than to just waste it by not using it and eventually it'll be a common sense reaction to activate it at just the right time
Madred's Bloodrazor
ah this is the official tank shredder of dps champs everywhere. with 4% of their health done as magic damage alone this cant be beat for any ATK speed build, there meaningless without this item in my opinion.
Black Cleaver
Usually by the time you get this people have wised up to your antics and realized hey why I just gotta buy armor to counter her! usually yes that'll derail most AD damage but with this item their money is just wasted cause when you get this their armor means nothing once again
Bloodthirster
This item is what I call kicking em when there down, with this final item you can deal a ridiculous amount of damage and get so much life back in return its just OP, I've tanked many fights where my lifesteal and atk speed just made it impossible to finish me off even when all of their team was targeting me
It was brought to my attention I should have a bit on defensive items, these are definately situational in my view, because in a mix between shyv already having a decent MR and Armor rating for your average fighter and just the overwhelming amount of damage and lifesteal she literally tanks all the damage that is given to you, but also a completely overfed champion who can nuke you in three hits is not good too, I've only had it happen once but a 17/4/? Annie is one bad ***** no matter what. and yes you'll need protection if ya wanna **** around with that girl *pun intended*
Sunfire Aegis
This is a great item if you wanna get just a bit more Armor and Health to your stats without completely slacking on your damage output too, This stacks well with
Burnout since it adds 35dps Aoe, as awesome as it sounds stacking with an already amazing skill 35dps is just not enough to justify adding this to my build, it's a great item to pass up but I just feel it diminishes in my build
Warmog's Armor
Ah.. if ya ever just need a large amount of just raw health this is the one stop shop, on almost all of my other builds I mix this with
Atma's Impaler for a great survivability and damage. unfortunately to remove 2 item from build it makes less of an assassin build and more of a tanky dps build and there's plenty others out there like that, and I feel they just don't pack the punch like my build does
Guardian Angel
Alot of people are absolutely in love with this item and believe making a build without this item is like making a build without boots.. ya just don't do that. In my opinion yes its a great item and I'm sure its saved many of champions it its time and let them escape or finish a kill but to me its caused more harm than good in my experience with DPS reliant champions. usually if you wanna get it ya gotta get it mid game cause at late game your not gonna get more than 1 or 2 uses out of it and I see it as a waste. and I find out that when you buy this item your damage drops off completely trying to fund this item and you end up dying more or killing alot less cause ya dont do enough damage. 2600 gold might not be much in retrospect to what this item does but that could buy ya alot of dps, and I just prefer to remain as the char who can take down a tank in 3 secs flat rather the char who stays in longer but just doesnt have enough stopping power. I need to experiment more with this item cause I may find a place for it but not at the moment
Banshee's Veil
This item was once one of my favorites but it dropped off the list when they nerfed it from 30 sec cd to a 45 sec cd, I just find it that unless your dealing with an enemy
Karthus ya just end up blocking one spell per fight that usually isn't enough of a difference to wanna waste the slot or money on it I prefer
Force of Nature by far
Force of Nature
Ah.. I really do love this item.. If ya ever need to just stick it the AP champ that's killing your team in 3 hits this is your best choice it has the has the highest MR of any item and its got great health regen too, and of course if that wasnt enough it gives a 8% movement boost just for the hell of it
Thornmail
if ya got a fed AD DPS champ this will stop it in its tracks, not only does add 100 armor which is amazing it also returns 30% of their damage as magic damage.. ya that'll shut up am annoying
Vayne and
Tryndamere easily
Randuin's Omen
I believe this is a better choice for
Shyvana if you want an armor item, the active is great for team fights if ya wanna slow alot of people in place for a second or 2 depending on your MR and armor, plus having their movement and attack speed reduced cause they hit you is awesome too
THE "WHY NOT" ITEMS - Its always your choice if you find these items valuable to you or the current game your in. So improvise, play, and learn what works best for you.
Trinity Force
While this item has both made and broken many builds I find it just too expensive and just doesnt focus enough stats on anything to make it worth the grinding amount of money ya need to add it to my build, if you really wanted and your fed as **** you can replace Stark's Ferver with it at the end of the build, but games almost always end without a complete build anyways
Infinity Edge
This Item puts out amazing damage but honestly I feel it is an incomplete build without using
Phantom Dancer too, and I just find that to remove any item would affect either the lifesteal or armor penetration and just doesnt feel as powerful or as survivable as a build and people can counter her better.
Frozen Mallet
If you need survivability or maybe too many enemies are getting away this is a great item, I just find that I can chase down almost anyone and live through anything without this item due to
Youmuu's Ghostblade and the shear amount of lifesteal
Wit's End
this can be a handy item if ya need a little boost for you MR and also wanna keep contributing for your dps. Its a great beginning item but I believe
Zeke's Harbinger takes its place in being a better item since it allows you to stay out longer rather than returning to base every 5 mins after farming or ganking.
Last Whisper
If a tank really has it out for ya and just wants to taunt ya by having a ridiculous amount of armor and health this might come in handy but with Armor Penetration runes,
Youmuu's Ghostblade,
Flame Breath and
Black Cleaver ya should never really need this item

Dragon Form: Twin Bite will damage all units in front of Shyvana when she uses her next autottack instead of just her target. Each unit hit will be dealt on-hit effects and grant Fury twice.

Twin bite is her most damage so I max it out second. this ability is amazingly spammable because of Shyvana's passive and your amazing amount of atk speed. at the end of your build your gonna wanna just hit Q repeatly cause its cooldown is ridiculously fast. when your in dragon mode it'll hit all champs in front of you.. thats amazing dps too a whole team

Dragon Form: Shyvana now scorches the earth where she walks, leaving a trail of fire for 5 seconds that will continually deal magic damage to enemies that pass over it.
Cooldown: 12 seconds

I love this ability for the bonus speed and the AoE dps it gives so I max it out first, and it'll help ya take down enemies and farm minions with ease.

Dragon Form:Flame Breath engulfs all units in a cone in front of Shyvana.

I put one point in this ability at lvl 4, this isn't an AP build I find that this ability does the least amount of damage and all you need it for is because of the debuff it does.

(Passive): Shyvana reinforces her scales, increasing her armor and magic resistance. These defensive bonuses are doubled while in Dragon Form.
(Active):Shyvana transforms into a dragon and dashes to a target location. Enemies along her path take magic damage and are pushed toward her target location.
This ability has no cooldown but to use it, Shyvana needs 100 Fury. Shyvana generates 1 Fury every 1.5 seconds while on normal form. While in Dragon Form, she will lose 6 fury every second and once the Fury bar is empty she will return to her normal state.

This is one main reason why I chose to make an Attack speed build, u can walk in the forest hit a couple minions and walk out with a fresh ultra destructive ultimate, and with the amount of attack speed ya get this ult can go for so long when your wailing on enemy champions
Actually Skill Sequence
Without Ultimate- I just rush in with

So It's W - E - Q than spam em all til there dead
With Ultimate- I activate this spell making sure I'm behind the target to keep em from retreating right away than I cast

So Its R - W - E - Q than spam Q til your hearts content
Honestly shes both button mashing champ and one the requires finesse and timing
I love my
Flash and
Exhaust as a ganker I never leave home without em, ya can use
Ignite or w.e you feel comfortable with but I just find for both securing a kill or running away these spells are by far best and most versatile spells you can use.
Ignite is great for sealing beginning kills but its damage falls off mid to late game and than its just good for decreasing someones health spell vamp or lifesteal but I've never had a situation where i wish I had it for just that reason

If you need any convincing that this is the true way to play

yes I could of been a douche and photoshopped the 3/3/10 game out and made my self look perfect but I left it in to show ya I'm only human and every build doesnt always work for every game. also it was just one of those matches where it feels like you just cant get the last hit on anything to save your life so I wound up with alot more assists.
As for 33/12/28 game I literally carried my team kicking and screaming for the win, we had a

and for all the other matches where I got either 5 or 9 kills they were all 20min surrenders
And for any trollers don't worry I'll throw up some ranked scores soon enough I just wanted a good solid 6wins for my first post
In summary
Shyvana is an amazing character that is so much fun to play, and her ult is by far one of my favorites in the whole game it's just so ******** cool. and if you found this guide valuable or useful than vote for it so everyone else can learn from it cause I know I always check out the top scores. so remember live, learn, play and its just a game have some ****ing fun!
