Explanation For my Choices in the Build

Braum is the manliest of the manly, the biggest of the big, but most importantly; the tankiest of the tanky.

I play Braum as a pure tank champion, diving into desperate situations and coming out alive with his teammates because of his HUGE muscles
(and I mean huge)
which is why I put 30 points into the defensive tree.

I've out-traded many Braum's now due to my high defensive set. Along-side the masteries I got me some tanky runes. Armor seals and Scaling Magic Resist glyph's for obvious reasons, nice and tanky. But attack speed Marks so if you're in a one on one fight, or you need a stun off and no teammate can assist you in your stun you can charge it quicker. The quints are there for the same reason as the seals/glyphs.

The items themselves come down to protection and survival.
Face of the Mountain and Locket so you are able to do AoE shielding and single target shielding for maximum shield
(because Braum's just isn't big enough)
they mix well with his kit of diving onto teammates and throwing up his own shield.

Sightstone is for obvious reasons, as a support you must ward, and the extra HP is nice. Sunfire is for the tankiness, and since with all this tankiness you have after following my build you'll be alive long enough to do some serious flaming to your enemies.

I chose merc's for the booties because lowering the duration of those AoE's will help you move around and keep your own teammates alive. Along with the booties you get the enchants, I chose furor, but only when winning, so you're able to knock off your abilities and keep up with the fight. But if you're not winning go with the standard homeguard's so you can rush to the defense of your base!

Take elixirs if you've maxed out your build just for a little extra OOHMF.

If you're vs a heavy AP team, switch out the sunfire OR randuins with a spirit visage.

Thanks for reading, that's the explanation for my choices. That's all for now so enjoy Mustachio the King Tank!
