Not Updated For Current Season
This guide has not yet been updated for the current season. Please keep this in mind while reading. You can see the most recently updated guides on the browse guides page
Playstyle:
Try to dodge her abilities and spam W on her.
Remember her shield blocks a ton of damage, if you can somehow bait it with a weak Q then you can jump in on her late.
She has long cooldowns, so punish her once she wastes her abilities
Remember not to auto attack unless you won't grab a ton of minion aggro.
She's an easy kill with a gank.
Brand
Playstyle:
Start Q and farm safely until you hit level 3
Once level 3 you can try dodging his abilities and jumping on him
Brand has very high cooldowns so punish him after he uses an ability
Once you jump in on him at level 4 or 5, spam your W on him and keep kiting around him. AA him between W's if there aren't a ton of minions around you.
At level 6, you can't kill him unless he miraculously wastes every skill but his ult. With a gank it can also be hard to kill him, I like to stand back and E in after he uses his ult. You can try to just burst him if you're healthy enough.
Riven
Playstyle:
Very hard to outplay Riven. Try to dodge her stun and knockup, spam W in circles around her.
Ask for a gank, and get her to waste everything on you, then get your jungler to go in.
The only way you're killing her at 6 is if you have a ton of damage and she wastes her Q stacks and stun.
You can also max Q this lane if you don't want to fight at all and stay pushed to turret.
The trick to any Riven matchup in the early game is playing around her cooldowns, remember that when going for trades.
Veigar
Playstyle:
Now that his Q is a skillshot, if you are quick enough you can E behind him and W him
I recommend getting a bit of MR to completely counter him, but it's not necessary.
If he uses his Stun just wait it out.
Out roam him.
Diana
Playstyle:
Let her push. Bait her Q's and dodge them. Farm under tower.
She would have to waste E and W for you to kill her.
Try and ignore her and snowball off others.
Late game you can easily blow her up (But she'll probably have zhonyas) and she needs to waste E before you go in on her.
Karthus
Playstyle:
Start Q and spam it on him.
Karthus is really easy to beat because they always focus on farming
Once you're level 3, just keep messing with him and dodging his skillshots.
I like to always jump in on karthus, but you have to dodge his wall and once you commit you keep W'ing circles around him.
At 6 you can just ult him but it might result in trading kills, so I'd rather wait for a gank.
Ezreal
Playstyle: Against AD
Start Cloth + 5 Pots
Always stand behind minions, his Q will do the most damage. Level 1 you can actually harass him easily with Q and if you bait an AA then the lane pushes to you. If he doesn't auto attack the lane will push to him and you will get level advantage + wave advantage
As the game goes on the more he can do to you, unless you are somehow near full health and he wastes his E you cannot jump into him and ult him.
If you have wave advantage go for any trades after he wastes Q (only if he is within a good range), don't run too far to catch him.
At level 6 if you are healthy and he wastes E then you can jump in and ult him.
BE CAREFUL OF HIS SUMMONER SPELLS. If he has 7.png you can burst through it, if he has 21.png it can stop a lot of your ultimate. If he has 14.png he can kill you easier.
Playstyle: Against AP
Start Boots + 4 Pots
AP Ezreal needs you to dodge a lot of skillshots, his Q scales off AP, his W does a ton of damage and his E can do damage to you if he lands it.
REMEMBER to constantly walk left and right and E any spells he is going to hit you with.
If he wastes W and there is a wave, it's usually extremely safe to go for a trade, you can choose to max W in this lane if you feel like you can get 2 W's off in safety.
Nidalee
Playstyle:
Level 1 if she started W, she can pounce on you (uncommon). But if she starts Q, just think of her as useless until level 3 (Kind of like you)
Still Q level 1, I want you to try not to push and you can try to auto attack minons instead of Q'ing them (If she auto attacks you, the wave will push) and you want this. If she only kills minions with auto attacks, then you are keeping the wave even.
Try your hardest throughout the lane to stand behind minions and not get speared. It will be your worst nightmare.
Think of Nidalee as a champion where you don't want to stand too close to, but not too far either (So you have this mid ground). You stand close, she can get a free combo (Cougar > Pounce > Q > E). If you stand too far, you're dodging spears for your life.
The best way to kill her is if she wastes her pounce, then you can try going for an all in. But remember, poking a Nidalee doesn't do much because she can heal it. Unless she is wasting spears (aka mana) then you might be able to bully her out of lane.
If she is bullying you and pushing, she must be wasting pounce. So ask for a gank, wait for her to waste pounce and go for the 2v1 kill when shes vulnerable.
Xerath
Playstyle:
Xerath has extremely long range, a good Xerath shouldn't let you get close
If you try to shunpo on him and he stuns you, then he's easily going to punish you.
Best bet is to farm under turret and wait for a gank.
In teamfights just send someone to flank him or destroy him since he has no mobility.
Cho'Gath
Playstyle:
Cho has very high cooldowns so punish him once he misses his Q
Try to stand in his face, and bait his Q out, then jump in on him and W him (Do not AA him)
Even if he silences you, wait it out and spam W on him a ton until he's pushed out
Try to avoid his AA's while W'ing around him
At 6 you can beat him unless he's AP Cho, then ask for a gank
Fizz
Playstyle:
Contrary to popular belief. You can win this lane.
If he doesn't start flask, you can actually really **** on him, and you should win really early if you play smart and don't let him E or AA you, save shumpo for after he E's.
Start W, constantly spam it on him at lvl 1, lvl 2 get Q and just Q > W him, bully him constantly.
At lvl 6 you lose, and as the game goes on, he's only going to get stronger than you. Play smart in teamfights.
Gragas
Playstyle:
Start W and spam it on him and the lane.
He completely beats you, try to hide behind your minions so he cant E you and dodge his Q's (sometimes it's as easy as walking forward)
At level 6 you can't even kill him, he is too tanky.
As the game goes on you will do more damage than him, it's just his E and his R can stop you.
Be smart, out roam him.
I like to save my shunpo for after he ults me away. Then I shunpo in.
Kha'Zix
Playstyle:
You can out trade kha if you spam W on him, and try not to take his AA's or Q's.
Always stay near minions so that he doesn't have you isolated.
At level 6 you should be able to blow him up with your ult
Malzahar
Playstyle:
Malzahar's always use their E on the minion wave
As long as you dodge the Q and he wastes E on the minion wave, you can easily jump in on him and spam your W
Constantly kill his minions
At level 6 try to wait for him to ult someone else or tell someone on your team to focus him down and CC him.
Mordekaiser
Playstyle:
His E only has a 6 second cooldown and his shield is super annoying.
Just farm safely and at level 6 he's an easy kill with a gank.
Teemo
just bully him with it, but try and get an advantage with minion wave first. (You can out push him),just remember if you waste E, you are susceptible to ganks.
Tristana
Playstyle:
You can't do anything against tristana unless she wastes her E on a minion or she is oom.
At level 6 you also get blown up. I would consider early MR against this champion.
You counter her as long as she can't instantly blow you up.
Twisted Fate
Playstyle:
A good twisted fate really destroys kat, if this guy isn't bullying you from level 1 then you can probably outplay him.
Once he wastes his card on a minion, try to jump on him and combo him. If he doesn't let you then just Q him or push him out.
At level 6 if he wastes his card, just jump in on him and ult him.
He can out roam you or meet your roams, so try and be smart. I personally love to spam my ult on twisted fates, keep him low health in lane so he can't roam.
WARD FOR YOUR TEAM SO YOU CAN SEE HIS ROAMS.
Ahri
Playstyle:
Start Q, poke her down as much as you can (you can bounce it off minions) but make sure you dodge all her abilities while letting her push on you.
At level 4 and 5 you have big spikes against her, you should have extra points in W and thin out the wave with your W so she doesn't have a minion advantage.
Try to dodge her Q and jump in on her and trade with her, DO NOT AA HER IF SHE HAS A TON OF MINIONS AROUND HER, try to dodge left or right after you jump in on her because you want to dodge the charm.
If she wastes charm, just jump in on her and dodge her abilities
At 6 if she ever wastes her charm, just all in her. It should blow her ult or flash. Then keep doing so until you have a kill.
Akali
Playstyle:
Start W and spam it on her as much as you can without taking any of her AA's (This will push your lane and make it scarier for her to do anything to you)
At level 2, you should take E incase you get ganked but constantly try to spam W on her.
At level 3 you should take W again and keep spamming it on her, she will have a difficult time last hitting under tower if you push really hard.
At level 4, you should have Q and you should be winning trades
At level 6 you are kind of screwed, if you both instantly hit 6 at the same time and she doesn't have any stacks saved up then just all in her with your ultimate
Once she has 3 stacks at level 6 you can't do much, just out-push and out-roam her. Try to beat her at the 3v3 or 4v4 game because you are an AOE assassin and she is only a single target assassin. You should do more in teamfights.
Anivia
Playstyle:
Start Q and farm safely.
If she lands her Q on you, you will lose the trade. So at any point pre 6 if you can dodge her Q with your E then just take the trade. Maxing Q is going to give you a lot of burst in the trade.
At level 6 you can't beat her unless she's oom. Her passive also makes her annoying. Try and ask for a gank, best way to kill her
Annie
Playstyle:
It's really hard to beat her pre-6 so just play safe. Unless you can somehow jump on her the millisecond after she wastes her Q. Then you can win the trade (Make sure she doesn't have a stun charged)
At 6 once she wastes her stun, just jump in on her.
Annie is very easy to gank, just make sure if she has her stun charged to save your E until she wastes it.
Azir
Playstyle:
Start Q and go for as much CS as you can, SAFELY.
Wait for him to push you to tower slowly. Try your hardest not to take any damage until you're at tower (even if you have to give up CS)
Now at tower, this is the safest farm you might possibly be able to do. Now you just trade potions for CS. If he's bad he won't harass you under tower.
If he does harass you under tower, try and ask for jungler help. If none, just don't die. Just recall and get more pots, rinse and repeat.
In teamfights he is so easy to beat, just wait for him to ult or go for someone else. His ult range isn't super long and you can blow him up.
Cassiopeia
Playstyle:
Cass has very low cooldowns and does a ton of damage, her Q and W poison you, and once it hits her E will destroy you, and since you are melee it will take you a long time to escape her E range.
If she's really bad with her skillshots, then you can try to trade with her and kite around her after you've jumped in.
If she isn't bad, there is no way of beating her. Just ask for ganks.
Ekko
Playstyle:
Your Q and his Q have the same CD. But his is easy to dodge if you stand behind minions.
Once you're level 3, dodge his Q and wait for it to go back to him. Then E > Q > W him, then back off.
Once you have a few points in W, if the lane is in your favor, you can proc multiple W's before his Q is back up.
At level 6 make sure no surprises happen. If you can kill him try and wait for his ult to be in a bad position before you go in (Either closer to your base, or really close to himself)
BIG FINAL NOTE. He usually starts flask, be smart against flask. It is the ultimate sustain and you need to pull off perfect trading, which isn't too difficult against Ekko.
Fiddlesticks
Playstyle:
100% build merc threads this game. Even if Fiddle is not in your lane, get mercs.
You have to farm safely until 6.
At level 6 if he wastes his E and W then jump in on him.
Something I like to do against fiddle is pretend im going in, bait the fear, then use my E to actually jump in on him and ult him (His E still has to be down though)
The only way you're beating fiddle is if you can bait his Silence and Fear and ult him before he ults you.
Heimerdinger
Playstyle:
Heimer should always be pushing on you, so you can level W second because you're not afraid of getting ganked.
Once he puts a turret down, instantly Q it and try to safely W it. Try to kill every turret as they spawn.
At level 6 you can't do much without a gank, even if he wastes stun and can't stop your ultimate, he can usually trade kills with you because his towers will stay alive after he's dead (for a bit) and kill you
Karma
Playstyle:
Karma only has her Q that does damage
Once she uses her Q to farm, then you want to jump in on her and keep W'ing her.
The best thing to do is to try and just walk up to her and spam Q and W on her (after she wastes her Q) then save shunpo for after she puts her leash on you.
Ganks kill this champion easily if your jungler has hard CC (Stun, fear, root, knockup)
Kassadin
Playstyle:
Kassadin's shield makes it really hard to trade with him.
If you try to trade, bait out his Q, then throw out yours after his shield is down.
If you want, you can try to outplay him with a W max and spam it around him. (This can work if he doesn't start flask)
You are screwed at 6 too, try to play smarter than him in teamfights.
Katarina
Playstyle:
Just max W and spam skills on her.
The better beyblade wins
Kayle
Playstyle:
You can't out trade a Kayle unless she wastes Q and her E is on cooldown
Kayle's always push so just farm safely under turret.
At level 6 blow her ult and flash with a gank, then you should be able to solo her while her ultimate is down.
In teamfights her ult counters your resets, try to play smart.
Kennen
Playstyle:
A skilled Kennen should beat you
If he wastes his Q and doesn't spend time auto attacking you and bullying you, then go for trades on him. Make sure his passive auto attack isn't up and try to dodge his Q after you jump in on him and trade.
You can try to kill him with a gank, but he has to waste his E unless your jungler has hard CC
Lee Sin
Playstyle:
Lee sin is hard to beat if he's smart.
If he lands a Q, you're going to lose the trade.
You can try to W spam him, but his E counters your W's movement speed pretty hard so he should be able to catch up to you and AA you.
Try to spam W and keep the wave pushed, at least then he'll be too scared to fight you.
At level 6 you can't beat him without hard CC and if his ult is down.
He can W away from a gank or ult you away after you jump in on him.
Lissandra
Playstyle:
Her Q is pretty spammable, try to stand to the side of minions so it can't bounce off them and hit you.
If you jump in on her she can W you and then hit you a ton for free.
At level 6 she can just ult herself or you and your ult will do nothing.
Let her push and just farm under turret, play smart in teamfights.
You might want to consider rushing banshees veil early on (2rd or 3rd item)
Lulu
Playstyle:
Lulu can actually out damage you, if she starts E, just give up minions until she has Q then let her push on you and farm safely under turret.
Her W can stop your ult and so can her ultimate.
You can't kill her without a gank. I usually do not use my ultimate on her until she uses her ultimate.
Play smart in teamfights.
Morgana
Playstyle:
Morg has high cooldowns, you can try to punish them. But you can't really initiate on her unless she wastes her Q.
At level 6 you can both kill each other but it's easier for her to kill you.
Try and get a gank on her at 6 and burst through her shield before your jungler CC's her.
At 6 she can solo kill you though, be careful and don't waste shunpo unless she ults you.
Orianna
Playstyle:
A good Orianna is impossible to beat as Katarina.
If you're not against a good orianna, then dodge her Q and W spam on her. Do not AA her.
A good Orianna will trade back with autos and you will lose the fight.
If she's a good ori that knows how to win the lane, I recommend maxing Q.
At 6 she's hard to kill unless she misses her ult or doesn't have it.
Pantheon
Playstyle:
Pantheon completely wrecks you with his low cooldowns, his stun and his high damage.
Farm safely under turret because he has low range and shouldn't be able to bully you under turret.
Ask for a gank.
He can match your roam with his ultimate, pretty scary. Play smart.
Sion
Playstyle:
Sions usually shield up and go super aggresive. Just play safe while his shield is up.
After his shield pops, jump in on him and combo him then run out.
At level 6, you need a gank or he needs to waste his shield and stun to kill him.
DO NOT LET HIM SNOWBALL. DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY KILLS.
Swain
Playstyle:
Swain destroys you in every single way. He can out trade you, slow you, root you.
You need to play safe and survive until 6, and at 6 you can actually kill him with a gank.
You can solo kill him later on with a lot of damage, you can burst him down as the game goes on as long as you are even and he doesn't have zhonyas.
Syndra
Playstyle:
Hard matchup, but you can out play her.
Try to dodge her abilities and jump in on her and spam W and keep kiting in weird directions
At level 6 you completely lose because her ult can do a ton of damage to you and her E stops your ult.
Ask for a gank.
As the game goes on you can both burst eachother down within a second but she has range over you
On the reworked Katarina rushing hexdrinker vs Syndra is actually not bad and it negates a lot of her all in potential
Talon
Playstyle:
If you can somehow dodge his Rake, then you can jump in and trade with him.
At level 6 he can burst you down really fast and you can't do much.
With a gank you can actually kill him.
Later on in teamfights if he uses his ultimate near you, you might aswell just press zhonyas or run before he jumps on you and silences you.
Try to go in later in teamfights and out assassinate him (You do more AOE damage)
Ever since silence got nerfed you can actually initiate on him and ult.
Vel'Koz
Playstyle:
Vel Koz can out trade you if he has his knockup, because once you shunpo onto him it's pretty easy for him to land. You can attempt to outplay him if you like.
At 6 you can't do anything to him unless he misses his knockup, and even then he can play safe by using his long range.
I recommend playing safe under turret, but he can spam his abilities on you. Don't be alarmed! Just dodge them and farm.
Viktor
Playstyle:
Try to play safe and stay pushed on (easy against Viktor). Farm properly under turret.
Start Q and farm while dodging his lasers
Try to avoid letting him bully you with Q, but if it's obvious he's going to Q you, wait until you Q him back.
You can't really initiate on him because his stun and his ult can stop you from comboing him.
If he is overextending to bully you, try and ask for a gank.
Teamfights can be confusing against Viktor, you can try and bait his ult. When the silence wears off, you can go in. AVOID THE STUN.
Vladimir
Playstyle:
Vlad has really high cooldowns and he wastes his abilities farming minions.
After he Q's a minion, just jump in on him and spam W. He can sustain though so it's kind of annoying.
At level 6, you need him to waste his pool before you can kill him.
Out roam him.
Yasuo
Playstyle:
Start W and spam it on him
You beat him in lane by dodging his Q's and constantly spamming W on him.
Only get armguard, and then rush Luden's.
His windwall counters your Q and Ult, but if you jump in on him at 6 theres a high chance he will mess it up.
Remember that if your jungler ganks him, to stand to his side so he cant E on your jungler to get closer to his turret.
Zed
Playstyle:
Very skilful matchup. The only way you're winning this is if you dodge his Q's
Rush armguard
At 6 if he wastes his shadow, just jump in on him and ult him.
Ziggs
Playstyle:
Ziggs autos do a ton of damage, his Q's can bully you.
If he's trying really hard to bully you in lane, just farm at turret
At 6, you can't all in him. But if he's good he will Satchet you towards him after you jump in on him.cause even if he can't CC you, if he ults right on top of you he should be able to burst you before you burst him. So you'll have to get out of his ultimate.
Out roam him.
Zilean
Playstyle:
Play safe and farm under turret.
His Q does a ton of damage, and he can bully you under turret.
If you get a gank and jump in on him, he can speed himself up or ult himself.
In teamfights he counters your reset burst.
Invulnerability is better against him compared to MR(Veil) because you need to blow his ult and come back and do more damage (Zhonyas, Guardians Angel)
Zyra
Playstyle:
Farm safely under turret.
Zyra has long range, low cooldowns and her pants just make it impossible for you to farm.
Tell your jungler you're going to need help.
At level 6 you can't jump in on her because she can ult you and stop your ultimate and do a ton of damage to you.
In teamfights her ult can stop your ult, so you have to be smart when you go in
Jayce
Guy completely out damages you, max Q and farm safely.
At 6 if you get a gank, you might be able to kill him.
LeBlanc
Playstyle:
She doesn't have silence any more, YAY!!! (Not really) she still ***** on you.
LB is really hard to beat, you have to E on her the second she W's onto you and you have to dodge it. Then when she comes back to her pad, you W her and run away.
At level 6 you're not killing her without hard CC or if she wastes her W and can't W away.
Ryze
Playstyle:
Ryze out trades you, but a lot of them waste their abilities farming.
If Ryze wastes W, try to jump in on him and run out.
At 6 he should destroy you unless he wastes his E on the minion wave. So if he wastes his E, just jump in and ult him.
I would recommend try to let him push and farm safely until you get a gank.
Wukong
Playstyle:
There are 2 types of Wukong mids. One goes flask, one doesn't. If he doesn't start flask you stand a chance. If he does start flask then don't even bother trading, just use pots up and farm.
Wukong mid should start flask and max E. If for some weird reason you see that his E isn't doing the most damage, you can actually try to out push him with W max.
Now on to how to survive this lane.
Wait until he uses E, then Q E W and get out. If he Q's you he's playing right. If you're losing these trades then don't go for them anymore. REMEMBER NOT TO AUTO ATTACK so you don't grab minion aggro.
If he is maxing Q, see if he will waste it on a minion, if he does then boom you can go in and trade again.
Now, what do you do if you're not winning trades? Simple, you let him push, wait until he wastes E then farm safely. If he isn't pushing, bait a single E onto you but make sure it hits minions and you should get a wave coming towards you.
In teamfights he can usually sneak up to you and kill you or stop your ultimate, play smart in teamfights. Wait for his ult to be down or sneak past him somehow, with flash or something.
Galio
Galio is fairly weak against Katarina pre buying magic resist
Pre-level 6
- try to dodge as many skillshots as possible (easier with the mov speed quints).
- Go for a trade as soon as he wastes his abilities as his cooldowns are fairly long.
Post-Level 6
- Galio's ult will cancel your ult so it is hard to all in him when his ult is up so make sure to harass him before going all in
- As the game goes on it gets harder and harder to kill Galio, so in teamfights I recommend waiting for Galio to waste his ult and focusing on blowing up the other carries instead.
Teleport if you like to teleport roam (Don't use this if you have bad map awareness)
Thoughts on rework
Thoughts on rework
So the Katarina rework means big changes for her, but this doesn't mean bad changes... The biggest difference now is that her early game is a lot stronger, and many matchups that were previously hard, are now easier with lots of potential to outplay and kill.
However the trade off for that is Kat is no longer as bursty and does not have as much potential to one shot squishies. This is especially noticeable in teamfights, now Kat needs to play more patiently when deciding to go in, pre-rework if you saw an opening you would take it and go in, but now you need to set up more and be more patient.
Overall I think the rework has been very positive, as it has made Kat a much more healthy champion. It has made her early game much more stronger and given more chance of counterplay when she is very far ahead.
Early Game
Early Game
Katarina's early game is very strong, level 1 you should play relatively safe and level 2 and 3 you should abuse your power spike and just play really aggressively. This is because psychologically it affects your opponent and makes them think you will could go in at any chance, but also because playing aggressively is the best way to learn your limits and improve on Kat.
Just like the old Kat roaming is very strong but not necessarily as easy so you should look to roam whenever possible. There are 2 main ways of roaming;
1) The standard 'bread and butter' roam where you push your lane and gank a lane where the lane is pushed to your teams tower or just pushing towards you in general.
2) The second is the tower dive, this is more difficult to execute and usually requires more setup. When your lane is pushed call your jungler and when the minion wave is at the enemy tower either look to dive top lane as 3 or, bot lane as a 4 or 5 (top lane TP).
Mid game
Mid game
During the mid game Katarina is at her strongest. you should look to teamfight and skirmish to take objectives or even the nexus. At this point you should be able to carry teamfights because you will have lots of dmg, but moreover they will not have the resistances/tankiness to stop you from bursting them, and they will probably not be co-ordinated enough to counter and CC you, so you should take advantage of the chaos and get a blow them up!
Late game
Late game
During the late game Katarina falls off but not that much, as she can still clean up and carry teamfights, you just need to be more careful if you can't oneshot the enemy carries and if the enemy is getting too tanky. The biggest mistake I see Katarina's make is that they have no farm, remember farm is what wins game and it is one of the most important aspects of the game, so don't think that just because it is the late game you don't need to farm, getting gold helps to get items and items = damage and damage = pentakills!!!
Tips And Tricks For Teamfights
Tips And Tricks For Teamfights
1) Objective. What do you want to achieve in teamfights as Kat? You want to either deal as much damage as possible or kill the enemy carries. Remembering this is very helpful when making the decision of 'should I go in here?' You want the enemy carries to think you wake up today with absolute hatred for them... If thisis the case you know you are doing your job right.
2) Patience is a virtue. Learning to wait out certain big CC's that can stop you is key for any Katarina, just wait in the backline until the opportinity arises and BOOM they are all dead... Here is an example of a play of mine where I was patient and objective which lead to me getting a pentakill.
3) Distract. A very handy trick on Katarina is learning to go in and use E Q W and instantly using Zhonyas. Why you ask? Well it's simple, during the 2.5 seconds stasis while zhonyas is active 95% of players will tunnel on you and this gives your team the chance to engage on them. Alternatively you could go in and oneshot the enemy carries, and die for it with GA, while you are invulnerable the enemy are very likely to be distracted and your team has the chance to catch up. This can also be applied to Zhonyas in the same situation.
4) But BestKatEUNE, What About If They Save CC For Me? The answer is simple, GG AFK FF 20!!!. If someone on the enemy team is saving a certain spell for you and you only until you go in, then you either
- Peel for your adc - Jump on whoever is trying to kill your adc and distract and kill them first.
OR
- Don't participate in the fight.. If you don't go in then they won't use that ability and your team can potentially win because of it, remember if you try and force it then you will probably just end up dead, you can't do any damage if you are dead
5) Clean Up. Think of yourself as a janitor in the sense that you are cleaning up other peoples mess. Cleaning up just means you wait till the latter stages of the fight and go in and play off your resets. here is an example of me cleaning up...
