Darius is a strong champion and one of my favourites. i got him the day he was released and got 15-0 in a normal game. i have loved him scince. he is not really my main but i still play him a lot.

Please be patent with me. this is the first guide i ever have published. i will expand it to a full in depth guide later. comments for improvements are welcome.

Pros
-high dammage all game
-massive true dammage ultimate
-good dueler
-hard to counter
-low mana costs
-no delay when using abilities



Cons
-no escaping mecanism
-not naturally tanky
-easy ganked if pushing
-usually focused a lot early game if doing well or bad
-usually ganked a lot to set behind

i simply recomend what i have shown longer up. i choose this because darius has a good armour penetration from befoure so i see no need for armour pene runes. some extra ad helps a lot early and the scaling mr runes help a lot mid and late game. the normal armour runes makes the early lane easier.

This is the part i think is most important. you are not supposed to engage a teamfight. leth the tank do that work if you have one. if not try to pull in a single enemy when going in, kill him/her to giv your team a edge.

If your team has a tank leth him engage and follow close. spam your skills and try to kill the ad carry or caster as fast as possible. finish with ultimate. try to ignore the enemy support and tank if you can and do everything to finish their adc or caster as fast as possible. if you are low on hp, do NOT sacrefice yourself as a tank. your dammage is way to important for that. you are not likely to be focused first in teamfights so try to protect your team carries and caster to keep them alive. sacrefice your life for them if you have to. but only if it would save your teams adc or caster.

If you are wery feed the enemy team will focus YOU first in teamfights.
