Champion Build Guide

God Of Ruin Nix: Darius.

By Senpai Broccoli
Introduction
This Darius build is quite strong. Excelling at destroying squishy characters in preferably 1-2 hits. Not only does this build dominate low defense champions and characters, It is also a counter to many tanks as well.
Ability and Build Add-Up.
Apprehend at max rank gives 35% armor penetration. The lethality and armor penetration coming from items and Decimate passive gives 58% total armor penetration, and 30 lethality. Perfect for chopping down towering tanks to a good size. As you might know, Darius is insanely strong with his passive Hemorrhage. Not only does it give him extra Attack Damage when fully stacked, it also enables maximum damage with Noxian Guillotine. The additional Attack Damage from Hemorrhage gives in to the percentile increase of Crippling Strike. That with Critical strike amplification + Essence Reaver 'Spell blade', is an insanely dangerous attack. Noxian Guillotine is very synergetic with Duskblade of Draktharr. Invisibility after each kill, and increased basic attack physical damage provides safety and damage allowing for easy chain kills. All previous information applies to this. At rank 16, once you get a kill with Noxian Guillotine you become unstoppable if you avoid getting hit with Crowd Control abilities, scoring an ace is relatively easy. Quick damage estimate from experience. With max stacks, Level 3 Noxian Guillotine does roughly 1200 damage full build. Crippling Strike with a critical strike would do 900-1600 physical damage with max stacks. Without critical strike, 500-900 physical damage. The lows of these damages are including tanks.
Quick Note.
If you end up in a difficult matchup early, you are fine as long as you have a team member who can prevent you from losing until you get all of your power spikes. However, If your team is very suboptimal according to decent standards, then it could be quite difficult to carry them, but not impossible.
Jungle Notes.
If you are on red side, start red buff. Take Oracle Ward. Go to their blue buff via the blast cone behind it, Activating Oracle in the process. For this reason you take Crippling Strike second to deal as much damage as possible to blue buff. You go to gromp straight after for fastest level 3, then you can camp their blue buff bush and wait for them to come. They will usually be level 2. If it takes a while for them to arrive, head to their wolves, which they will most likely be clearing.

If you spawn blue side, you clear red buff. You take your E for this one, because you will be going for an invade at their blue. Use blast cone into blue buff bush, then pressure them while they are clearing gromp/ambush them if they are heading to their wolves (depending on how fast they clear). Focus on auto's and Decimate. If you get 5 stacks and force them to Flash, use Apprehend to catch them and finish them. This encounter shouldn't take too long, but get out of there quickly because their mid and bot might come for you. If their bot comes for you mid fight, they lose exp and gold, and as long as you get first blood it's a win. Don't use your Flash to thirst their Flash either. Keep it in case you need to escape bot lane roam.
Build Order.
First back, if you can get Serrated Dirk and Boots then get them. Rush Duskblade of Draktharr as quick as possible, it is essential for damage and safety. Essence Reaver is the second item you should get. Period. The damage it gives to Crippling Strike and the critical strike chance is a huge power spike. Almost as importantly is the mana refund. If you have good mana then you won't need to back as often, leaving you with more time help your team, and slaughter theirs. The Collector will be your third item no questions asked. It gives lethality and critical strike chance. Main reason you need this item third, is the execution effect that gives you extra gold. You need as much gold as possible so you can get max build as soon as possible. Infinity Edge is a high priority fourth item, but unless immediate action calls for a different item, don't get ignore the priority of this item. It supplies ample attack damage, and the passive effect will be a tremendous addition to Crippling Strike, giving more physical damage. You should have already built Boots of Swiftness somewhere along the item path previous, but if not now is a good time to build it. Lord Dominik's Regards Is your final item, giving you the extra edge over tanks. Some extra critical strike chance and armor penetration is a nice touch as well.
Jungle plan.
Being an aggressive jungler is almost a must. Keeping your enemy jungler behind is essential to your early game. If you apply so much aggression they might AFK, leaving the entire jungle to you. If not you can still dominate jungle. Be aware of the enemy laners roaming to help their jungler. If this starts to happen prioritize ganking. The enemy jungler being behind means they either have to focus on farming, or they can't contribute as much to a counter gank. Let your passive finish off of low health camps to save some time. When you get serrated dirk, you will be strong enough to solo drake. Use Oracle's Lens to make sure enemy doesn't have vision of dragon. Do the same when clearing Herald.
Battle Tactics.
Often use your ult and damage on squishy enemies in team fights, even if they aren't carries, they give you a free execution and max Hemorrhage stacks. Next focus the enemy champions that pose the most risk to Crowd Control you. Again, focus the squishier of this category before the tanks. Use the invisibility you get from takedowns from Duskblade of Draktharr efficiently and wisely to reassess your next targets. There isn't much you need to worry about after you reach level 16, as you can use your Noxian Guillotine at will as long as you kill your target with it. At max ability level, Noxian Guillotine will completely refresh its cooldown if it scores a kill. Noxian Guillotine at max rank doesn't need max stacks to apply a great deal of damage.
