Introduction
Hellurs, this is my first mobafire guide and I hope that you use it and get good results out of it as I have. I started playing

Runes
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: To make last hitting a little easier.
- greater mark of Armor Penetration: Always armor pen reds. I normally run this on champs who go into
Black Cleaver and
Last Whisper
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: For blind pick, you never know if you're against an AP top laner. Also pretty standard.
Greater Seal of Armor: Needed if going against champions like
Darius,
Garen,
Xin Zhao, and list goes on.

DEFENSE TREE
Tier 1 Health per level to help you early game. Tier 2 3 in Armor and 1 in MR because it's most likely an AD top laner. Tier 3 I use everything in tier 3, reducing damage from champions, effectiveness of slows, +30 health, and damage taken from turrets because you're most likely in the front line. Tier 4 Reduce damage from champions so it'll take the AD carry a couple more autos to kill you. Duration of CC because it stacks with Tenacity, and 1 point to increase max health by 1.5%. Tier 5 Reduce damage from crits for their ![]() ![]() Tier 6 Reduces damage taken from all for more survivability. |

After Lee Sin uses an ability, his next 2 basic attacks within 3 seconds gain 40% Attack Speed and return 15 energy each.

Sonic Wave: Lee Sin projects a discordant wave of sound to locate his enemies, dealing 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+0.9 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to the first enemy it encounters and revealing them for 3 seconds. If Sonic Wave hits, Lee Sin can cast Resonating Strike within the next 3 seconds.
Resonating Strike (30 energy): Lee Sin dashes to the enemy hit by Sonic Wave, dealing 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+0.9 per bonus attack damage) physical damage plus 8% of their missing health as physical damage.
I normally max this first as it is his main source of damage. You can use it to check bushes from a distance as it reveals stealthed units.
Tips and Tricks
- You can use it to harass in lane.
- You can use it to farm if your lane opponent won't let you.
- Be sure to auto attack twice after
Resonating Strike to regain energy.

Safeguard: Lee Sin rushes towards a target ally, shielding them both for 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+80% of ability power) for the next 5 seconds. After using Safeguard, Lee Sin can cast Iron Will for the next 3 seconds.
Iron Will (30 energy): Lee Sin's intense training allows him to thrive in battle. For 5 seconds, Lee Sin gains 5 / 9 / 13 / 17 / 21 % lifesteal and spell vamp. He also gains 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 armor.
This is

Tips and Tricks
- Keep a ward on you or nearby, you can Safeguard to them
- Be sure to auto attack after Iron will, you will regain energy for the first 2 autos and lifesteal any missing health.

Tempest: Lee Sin smashes the ground sending out a shockwave that deals 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+1.0 per bonus attack damage) magic damage and reveals enemy units hit for 4 seconds. If Tempest hits an enemy, Lee Sin can cast cripple for the next 3 seconds.
Cripple (30 energy): Lee Sin cripples nearby enemies revealed by Tempest, reducing their Movement and Attack Speed by 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60 % for 4 seconds. Movement and Attack Speed recover gradually over the duration.

Tips and Tricks
- Use
Tempest / Cripple on their AD Carry to slow their AS
- Use it to follow up
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike
- Check bushes for
Teemo.

Lee Sin performs a powerful roundhouse kick launching his target back 1200 units, dealing 200 / 400 / 600 (+2.0 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to the target and any enemies they collide with. Enemies the target collides with are knocked into the air for a short duration.
This ultimate is too good. It does tons of damage and knocks back and knocks up. This should be the last part of your combo.
(combos will be explained later)
Tips and Tricks
- Use it as a killing blow.
- Use it to knock back a chasing enemy into their team.

When in the Lane Phase your harass is in
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike and
Tempest / Cripple. Try to last hit with basic attacks like normal. If you use skills while getting cs be sure to auto attack after each skill so
Flurry replenishes your energy.
If you're in the middle of the lane and you're getting ganked you'll need that energy to
Safeguard / Iron Will to a nearby minion.
If you have opponents like
Jayce or
Teemo you might have to use
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike to last hit to avoid getting AA'd and taking damage from
Toxic Shot.
(Lane opponents will be covered in another section.)

-
: Tenacity to reduce CC and MR to take less from an AP burst.
-
: Slows from your AA's help chasing, lots of health.
-
: Armor pen and armor reduction.
-
: Gives decent AD, AD for % of missing HP, and MR + AP shield.
-
: Gives yourself armor + AD for all the HP you have.
-
: Never enough armor pen in late game.
These items are also viable:
-
: This item is good for MR and can be used to replace
Maw of Malmortius.
-
: I still prefer
Frozen Mallet but this gets you a little tankier and you get a health regen passive.
-
: This is okay, i still prefer
Frozen Mallet but it's up to you. If you're doing well and getting fed you can take this instead for more damage.
-
: Not what I would normally use because I prefer to be tankier for my team so I can be part of the frontline but if you have a tank jungler this should be fine instead of
Atma's Impaler.
If any enchantment, get Furor if winning or Homeguard if losing.
Be sure to always keep wards so you canSafeguard / Iron Will to them.

- Land
Sonic Wave and follow up with
Tempest / Cripple into
Dragon's Rage.
- Walk up and start with
Tempest / Cripple, then after they
Flash follow up with
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike then
Dragon's Rage.
- Start with Sonic Wave, Use
Dragon's Rage to kick them away then follow up with Resonating strike and
Tempest / Cripple.
- If you cant catch your target with
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike You can place a ward a short distance in front of you then
Safeguard / Iron Will followed by a
Tempest / Cripple then
Dragon's Rage into another
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike.
You're top lane so I won't put every champion here.
Akali
Tempest / Cripple when she is stealth, not too hard to kill.
Wukong Same as
Akali, but follow up with your combo.
Jayce Your
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike into
Tempest / Cripple should take him down pretty easy.
Teemo Stay near bushes, blinding dart can't hit if he can't see you.
Kha'Zix
Tempest / Cripple when he goes stealth,
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike and
Dragon's Rage plus
Ignite and a couple autos should finish him.
Rengar Same as
Kha'Zix.
I'm not saying these lanes are very easy but they should be easier than the ones under. Still don't underestimate them. Many of these are the Stealth champions, because you can easily reveal them with
Tempest / Cripple or
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike
Rumble Stay away from his
Flamespitter and dodge his Electro - Harpoon and land your combos.
Jarvan IV Shut him down before he gets tanky as hell.
Mordekaiser Stay away from him when he has
Creeping Death on himself or you will eat his damage and don't forget about
Iron Man.
Olaf Never underestimate him, when he is low be sure ignite is ready and you're sure you can go in for the kill. Ask for jungler if this guy gives you problems. Try to win lane before he gets tanky.
Shen Constantly harass him , don't get taunted cause it's normally the sign of a gank. Harass him until he's low then finish with one more full combo.
Vladimir Bait his
Sanguine Pool and then try to fight him. Make sure ignite is ready.
These lanes are not as hard but not as easy, according to my history against them.
Darius
Decimate will shred you to pieces early game if you decide to fight him and fighting him at 6 is a pretty dumb idea. Play passively.
Renekton His stun will give him enough time to rip you apart. I recommend passive play and help from a jungler.
Garen Similar to
Darius,
Decisive Strike's silence and
Judgment will destroy you and when he hits 6 dont get low or he'll tower dive with
Demacian Justice.
Pantheon Be careful for his W -> E -> Q combo cause it'll hurt pretty badly if he knows what he's doing. He'll block your autos so try for help from a jungler.
Jax Similar to
Renekton, his stun will give him enough time to get you really low and if you can't
Safeguard / Iron Will to safety you might be dead.
Cho'Gath Just like
Darius and
Garen, he can dive you pretty easy at 6 with
Feast if you get low.
Riven Stuns. They're your worst enemy so don't get caught in these. Similar to
Jax,
Irelia,
Pantheon,
Renekton.
Yorick His ghouls will block
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike which makes this a hard lane. Farm as much as possible then ask for a gank to shut him down.
Irelia Same as
Riven,
Jax, etc. Don't let her AA you for true damage.
Easier Lanes

I'm not saying these lanes are very easy but they should be easier than the ones under. Still don't underestimate them. Many of these are the Stealth champions, because you can easily reveal them with

Medium Lanes

These lanes are not as hard but not as easy, according to my history against them.
