Jax
Jax has been shown for being a powerful top laner, and in my opinion one of the best or if not the best minion controller in the game (Along side with Amumu.) He is best known for Controlling the Minions and giving the Enemy Top Laner some trouble when played correctly, and he can snowball like crazy, but he has some of the most gold-efficent issues out there in the game. Needless to say, do not, and I repeat, DO NOT take Jax ever so lightly, cause he can just get fed from minions alone, not just Champions.
Intro: Jax: The First Champion to Solo Baron
Hybrid Jax:
Hybrid Jax is a Safe Pick to take, since you're taking 40% CDR and some Harras AD and AP with just half of the Build, and You can build into a Guinsoo's and just Build Cheaper Items to save your Skin instead of buying other Hybrid Items such as Hextech Gunblade or Blade of the Ruined King. Not that those items are bad or anything, but since Jax already has half of his build complete and 40% CDR already done, I think It's safe to say that jax can go a little bit more sillier with his Builds. Nashor's Tooth, Boot's of Swiftness, Trinity Force, Guinsoo's Rageblade, Void Staff, Lord Dominik's Regards.
Crit Jax: What I think about it:
Honestly, Crit Jax is for those Low ELO builds that think that they can build into this like it's no problem. The biggest Issue with Crit Jax is: Yes you do even more Damage, but you also need to at have 40% Crit Chance for Crit Jax to Actually be a thing. So Let's say you want to build a Shiv and IE: That's still about 6200 Gold for you to worry on, let alone taking the Full Build. and That's Why I don't really like Crit Champions in general, They are risking it too much to make 4 Items work, and half of the time they genuinely don't work simply because IE and Essence Reaver is just too Expensive. If you just so happen to get fed, or just don't care if you Win or Lose, then I guess you can take this Build and Accordingly: Nashor's Tooth, Boots of Swiftness, Essence Reaver, Infinity Edge, Statikk Shiv, Phantom Dancer.
Trinity Jax:
Trinity Jax, or as what I was going to call it, the "Tons of Damage" Build, Is where I believe is one of the more scarier builds that I've made for Jax. The Build wise may look the same, but Instead of taking Trinity Force, Jax instead Rushes for Tiamat instead, and then goes for Trinity Force. This is so you harras and freeze easier against more with the minions then you are using it to solely kill the enemy top laner. Trinity Force, Boots of Swiftness, Nashor's Tooth, Ravenous Hydra, Lord Dominik's Regards.
Bonus Jax Build: The Nostalgic Impact Build:
Impact Jax isn't anything too special, but it's just a nostalgic build for Jax on how SKT Won against FNC, back at May 2014. I started my League of legends almost just after Super Galaxy Rumble kicked in at April 2014 I think, and my first time belief that Rumble was a new champion back then.
Doran's Blade, Blade of the Ruined King, Boots of Speed, Trinity Force, Banshee's Veil, Merc Treads.
For Full Infortmaion: Jax in my opinion is known for being one of the Best Beginner Top Laner in the Entire Game. He is able to take no Auto Attacks with his Counter, Control and Freeze Minions, Has the mobility to avoid poke damage, Harass the enemy Top Laner... He Might as well be the Top lane Version for Lee Sin at this Point, that how I picture on how good he is. Now you may be Questioning yourself why he's he scored 32 and not 35? Is becuase his Items are too damn expensive. In My Opinion, Jax needs to feed on Minions and have to play it a little bit passively since pre-3 is where he struggles the most, and after 6 he can just whatever he wants. You need to get at least Nashor's and Berserker's Greaves to Kinda Carry your way and protecting your gold, but if you we're to look for Oppotunity's to get some kills, I feel that His Recipe items change a bit too much, to the point where you need to get a Ragblade to make anyone who wants to 1v1 you needs to change thier mind and 2v1 you. Jax does show some of the most powerful harrasment in the game from what I can tell, but he struggles with his Build, at least for Early till peak of Late game. After Late Game, he can do whatever he wants.
What I think about Jungle Jax: He's Alright. For ELO Players, I guess you could see some Potential for Jungle Jax, but I prefer him to be in the Top Lane. Call me a Scaredycat for saying that, but there are other Junglers out there who can do thier job better then him; such as Kha'Zix, or Jarvan. However, he is a great pick to use if you want to practice ward hopping, so if you're thinking of being Lee Sin later in the game, I can give you that reason for why you would want pick Jungle Jax. Of course if you want to really learn how to Ward hop properly, you need to play Lee Sin himself.
Next Up!: I'm going to be talking about Morgana, and what I think of her for Top, Mid and Support.
