Introduction

Hello! This is my first mobafire guide, so please give me comments with any suggestions that you may have, all suggestions are welcome. The guide that I am putting together today is for an ADC Ashe build that is similar to the famous Blue Ezreal builds. I have only been using this build for about a month so far, but I haven't lost a game that I have played Ashe and used this build, so far. This build is even viable in ranked play, as long as your support trusts you.

Pros/Cons

As with all champions, there are a few pros and cons with this way of building.

Pros:
  • Very good damage output mid/late game
  • Easy to play
  • Spam Volley most of the game
  • Ult gets to a pretty low cooldown
  • Very good for chasing the enemy team since you can leave Frost Shot on all game
  • Great farming capabilities

Cons:
  • Can be out damaged early
  • Need to play somewhat conservative early (unless you have a great support)
  • If you get shut down, late game will be bad for you

Ability Explanation

Focus: Allows Ashe to last hit really well, making sure she kills as many minions as possible.

Frost Shot(Q): Allows Ashe and her team to catch up to fleeing opponents, as well as allows your team to get away in sticky situations. Once you get Tear of the Goddess and upgrade to Manamune, you will practically leave this on all game to build up your stacks faster.

Volley(W): Probably her best ability, allows Ashe to farm really well, especially with the passive of Spirit of the Elder Lizard. Also allows poke and escape all in one ability.

Hawkshot(E): One of her weakest abilities, but with this, Ashe gets a little extra gold from farming, but can also keep an eye on where the enemies are when you don't have great ward coverage.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow(R): Ashe's ultimate can go across the whole map, until it hits an enemy champion. This allows for great initiation, as well as trying to snipe a kill when the enemy champion thought that they got away.

Items

These are the core items for this build:

Item Sequence

Muramana 2900
Spirit of the Elder Lizard 2000
Last Whisper 1450
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Bersrker's Greaves Great for any ADC, pretty much a self explanatory item. You could also, if you wanted more cool-down reduction, use Ionian Boots of Lucidity.

The mana and mana regen that this gives you is great, but what really makes this item good on Ashe is the unique passive Awe that gives you AD equal to 2% of max mana and the Unique Toggle that consumes 3% of current mana to deal 6% of your current mana as physical damage on basic attacks and single target spells.

Gives you a decent amount of AD, but the passive Incinerate that gives basic attacs and spell damage DOT for 6-40 true damage over 3 seconds. Great with Volley as you can spam that all game long, allowing for good DOT effects. The mana regen and health regen are bonus with this item.

The mix of AD and armor pen makes this a must have on most ADC's.

The lifesteal that this item gives is great, along with AD and attack speed. One of the best items in the game.

After those items, the last one is just personal preference, but I prefer to use Runaan's Hurricane. I like this item because of the increased attack speed, but also the fact that your basic attacks can hit multiple, nearby, targes, allowing for Frost Shot to slow multiple people at one time, but also allowing your DOT from the Spirit of the Elder Lizard to effect multiple people with one basic attack. You can also choose from stuff like:

If you are getting focused hard and need to stay alive a little longer, this can help get you there.

Gives some nice AD and also some more cooldown reduction so that you can spam Volley and Enchanted Crystal Arrow more.

A great item for any ADC, especially if you want to go for a little more sustain during team fights, with the lifesteal.

Summary

Thanks for reading my very first guide! As I said, this is a build that I have been using for a while now, and since I haven't seen many other players using this build, I thought I would share this with everyone. Please comment on anything you might have a suggestion on, but I urge people to try this build out.
