ABOUT ME

Hey, my names Stin and as you can probably tell my favorite adc to play is . I have been casually playing League of Legends for over 10 years now and was the first ever adc I took to the rift. Now I think its time I use some of my varus knowledge to try and help out any new players wanting to try out Varus!

in my opinion is one of the more fun designed adc's within league and has a high skill expression based on the different builds you go. Luckily the state of League also has varus in a pretty good spot in which he has plenty of item options to optimize his carry potential.

I also have been streaming gameplay at Twitch.tv/ItsStin and as we head into the next season of League of Legends, I plan to update this guide if any massive changes are made for season start.

ABOUT VARUS

PASSIVE ABILITY

Living Vengeance

✦ When kills an enemy, he gains 10 / 15 / 20% (+20% bonus attack speed) attack speed (depending on level) for 5 / 7 / 9 / 11 (at levels 1 / 6 / 11 / 16) seconds. Champion takedowns grant 40% (+40% bonus attack speed) instead.

Piercing Arrow

✦ Begin Charging: draws back his next shot, Slowing himself by 20%. After 4 seconds, if not fired, will cancel the Ability and refund 50% of its Mana cost.

✦ Release: releases the arrow, dealing physical damage, reduced by 0% − 67% per enemy hit (minimum 10/46.67/83.33/120/156.67 (+ 83.33/86.67/90/93.33/96.67% AD)). Damage and Blight detonation effects are increased by up to 0% − 50% based on charge time (maximum 15/70/125/180/235 (+ 125/130/135/140/145% AD)).

Blighted Quiver

Detonating Blight on champions and epic monsters also reduces his basic abilities' cooldowns by 12% of their maximum per stack.

✦ Active: next Piercing Arrow deals an additional 6−14% missing health as magic damage (depending on level), increased up to 80% missing health damage depending on charge time.

✦ fires a hail of arrows that deal 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+0.9 per bonus attack damage) physical damage and desecrate the ground.

✦ Desecrated ground slows enemies' Movement Speed by 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% for 0.25 seconds and reduces their healing and regeneration by 40%. The slow duration is refreshed if enemies stay within the zone.

Chain of Corruption

✦ Range: 1075
✦ Cooldown: 100 / 80 / 60
✦ Cost: 100
✦ flings out a tendril of corruption, rooting the first champion hit for 2 seconds and dealing 150 / 250 / 350 (+100% of ability power) magic damage. Rooted enemies gain max blight stacks over the duration. The corruption spreads from its target to uninfected enemy champions. If it reaches them, they take the same damage and root.
