Update Log
I am just an average player who happens to know ALOT about
Riven. I have played hundreds of games with her. I love her look, style, gameplay and role in the game. She is versatile and always fun to play.
I am going to be updating this as I learn more about how to code, post pictures etc.

Difficulty (X/5) 0-EASY 5-HARD
-Cancel Ultimate Cast Time (1/5)
Casting your ult normally causes Riven to stop running and reforge her sword. However this wastes precious time if your chasing, can give away your intentions of engaging and scare away enemies when you want to fight. If you cast
Valor before
Blade of the Exile and cast her ult during the dash animation it will remove the cast time. Engaging the enemy with a surprise ultimate can be devastating and get you a kill.
-Starting Jungle at 1:29 (3/5)
Riven can solo any mob camp at lvl 1 with using only 1-2 potions. Golems, wolves, wraiths use this method to get early experience and advantage in game. Tricky part is if you have lag, get interrupted, or mess up your left without your passive and would have to start the mob without your stacks.
-Riven Wall Jump (5/5)
Takes practice but it can be done. This is useful trick to have to avoid a dragon ward, escape a chaser, or anything you can imagine. Just watch.

Riven's role in team fights is greatly debated. Does she go in first? Does she go in last? Does she take out high priority targets or protect yours? Shes a bit of everything and it all depends on the build of the other team. If they are building all damage and no tankyness. She can burst down almost anyone on their team and its her job to take out the biggest and worst of them. If they have a bunch of tanks, stand back and let your team do some damage. Its up to you to clean up, distract and control. If they have alot of initate STAY BACK. Riven is weak to CC and can go down fast in this case. Protect your ADC, support or AP carry. Know this though, even if you die, if your team gets 3 for your death you did your job.
Riven only has one set of runes which maximizes her potential.
3 X
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
9 X
Mark of Attack Damage

Seal of Armor
9 X
Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
This maximizes her passive, abilities, and early game playstyle. It is best for her to clear camps, clear minions, do large damage at lvl 1 etc. However, there are a few possible runes Riven can use in situations to get an advantage.
If you are facing an AP top, you may want to take these. Gives early game advantage.
