Threats & Synergies
Skill match up! Dodge her charm and jump on her!
Wait for him to use his pick a card ability and then pounce.
One of the most annoying click stuns in the game. Definitely a hard counter. Ask jungler for help!
Her grounding ability can completely ruin you, however if you get to her, she's an easy kill.
Straight counter if they're a good diana. I suggest switching lanes for this match up unless you know what you're doing.
Annoying as hell, but you should win due to the sustain from your passive.
Not unbeatable but man that snare is annoying. Get out of the snare and jump on her. Her shields and movement speed are very, very annoying early game.
Anivia's kit means she dishes out a lot of damage if you have any form of crowd control. So when in lane, try to farm as much as possible under tower and only fight if the jungler is going to gank. Look to roam at 6 while bot is stll weak.
Remarkably easy match up after level 2. The only thing you need to worry about is if he lands his stun and the enemy jungler ganks. Apart from that, jump on him whenever you get the chance!
Azir is super hard early. However post 6 he should be fine. Jump on him when you get a chance and also use your Twilight shroud to blink over his wall.
Fizz is extremely potent at all stages in the game. So as Akali, you will want to trade early if you can avoid his W proc and then post 6, dodge his ult then go in.
When you have 1,000,001 turrets constantly pushing and poking, the end result is a lane that stays at your tower. Ask for jungler ganks and try to farm up as best as you can. Heim as a champ is squishy however you always need to be wary of how much damage he can output when you go in.
Threats & Synergies
just shroud or zhonyas his mark and you should win lane
Careful of talon's early game burst. Post 6 you should be fine. Look to go for little trades pre 6
This is one match up that is winnable but it's going to be done early. Otherwise it's pretty much gg. Dodge his q and trade with your q and the second proc of your passive.
Outscales everyone late game.
Also outscales you late game unless you get the lead early
LOL at YASUO players. After level 1 you should be able to completely demolish the lane.
As an auto attack based champion, Aatrox isn't the hardest to lane against. However he does snowball very hard if he has more than 2 kills. Small trades early and get an executioners to stop him healing off autos.
Camille is a relatively easy match up. Trade normally with your Q's however hold onto your shroud until she tries to stun you. Your shroud completely negates her ability and you can trade easily once she uses her stun.
Renekton is one of those champs that still has kill potential even if he's doing shit in lane. Same as normal laning, trade constantly and make sure you try to trade when his rage bar is down.
|Hi guys, my name is Adam and today I'll be taking you through how to become a BEAST with Akali. Akali is one of those champions that people tend to forget about as she isn't played much on the pro scene, however, her insane burst and sustain off her passive make her a force to be reckoned with!|
|I have one tricked Akali for about three seasons now, starting in bronze and working my way up to platinum, in which I am still climbing :P I was ranked top 10 Akali in OCE before I decided to take a super long break and am now working my way up to rank #1 in OCE before setting my sights on becoming the #1 ranked Akali in the world.|
Anyway enjoy the guide!
+ Has EVERYTHING you want in an assassin
+ INSANE BURST
+ Massive sustain due to her passive Twin Disciplines
+ Can go invisible and blink using her Twilight Shroud
+ High mobility with the ability to stick onto any champion very easily using Shadow Dance
+ Great split pushing power with the second part of Twin Disciplines
- Semi-weak early game
- Heavily reliant on Hextech Gunblade to powerspike
- Can be bullied by range very easily early
- Hard to come back if she is behind
- Champs with point and click CC such as Annie can demolish her in lane
Akali's first two attacks are empowered. The first strike heals her, and the second strike deals bonus magic damage. Twin Disciplines will recharge itself automatically a short while after being used.
Mark of the Assassin (Q)
Akali spins her kama at a target enemy to deal Magic Damage and mark the target for 6 seconds. Akali's melee attacks against a marked target will trigger and consume the mark to cause additional damage and restore Energy.
Akali throws her kama at a target enemy to deal 35/55/75/95/115 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage and mark the target for 6 seconds.Akali's melee attacks against a marked target will consume the mark to deal 45/70/95/120/145 (+50% Ability Power) magic damage and restore 40 energy.
Twilight Shroud (W)
Akali teleports to a nearby location, leaving a cover of smoke at her previous location. While inside the shroud, Akali becomes Invisible and gains Movement Speed. Attacking or using abilities will briefly reveal her. Enemies inside the smoke have their Movement Speed reduced.
Akali teleports to a nearby location, leaving a cover of smoke at her previous location that lasts for 8 seconds and slows enemies within its area by 14/18/22/26/30%.While inside the shroud Akali gains Invisibility and 20/40/60/80/100% movement speed. Attacking or using abilities briefly removes Invisibility.
Stealth - Invisible: Akali can only be revealed by nearby enemy Turrets.
Crescent Slash (E)
Akali flourishes her kamas, dealing damage based on her bonus Attack Damage and Ability Power. When Crescent Slash kills a unit, it has a shorter cooldown.
Akali flourishes her kamas, slicing enemies for 70/100/130/160/190 (+80% bonus Attack Damage) (+60% Ability Power) physical damage. If Crescent Slash kills an enemy, its cooldown is refunded by 60%.
Shadow Dance (R)
PASSIVE: Akali moves through shadows to quickly strike through her target, dealing damage and consuming an Essence of Shadow charge. Akali recharges Essence of Shadow charges periodically, max 3 stacks.
ACTIVE: Akali quickly strikes through her target, dealing 50/100/150 (+25% Ability Power) magic damage. Akali stores an Essence of Shadow on kills and assists as well as every 30/22.5/15 seconds up to 3 total.22.5/15 seconds up to 3 total.
Flash: is always going to be running on Akali. Combined with her Twilight Shroud this enables a lot of distance to be covered in a short amount of time, giving you the advantage of surprising laners that think they're far enough to not get bursted.
Ignite: I always run ignite as it provides that extra little bit of damage that you will need to finish the champion off. Also for a lot of AD champs, it will stop their life steal from autos and give you the upper hand.
Exhaust: This is super, super rare to ever be used for Akali however, if you are unsure about laning phase and want the extra ability to survive in lane or to engage even harder, then feel free to take exhaust!
Akali vs Yasuo:
All combos, runes and masteries are in the Youtube video or shown above!
Akali vs Riven:
The main combo I used in this game was:
Early Game: q > w > aa > q > aa
Mid to Late: r > gunblade > q > aa > e > w > r > q > aa etc.
Akali vs Katarina:
