Disclaimer: I don't think there is any one 'correct' way to play a champion, all of this is based off my personal experience playing Warwick and what I found to work best for me. There are so many possibilities considering runes, item choice, and play style, so what works for me might not work for others, and that's okay! My goal is simply to share what I've found to work for me when playing Warwick, and hopefully this guide will find its' way to someone else who likes it! Criticism and feedback is also always welcome, as I am open to trying new things in terms of runes and builds. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this guide and find it useful in some way :)

Main AD build
While this build is very much unlike most other ww top builds, I find that it works surprisingly well for the most part. It's a build that was made by RossBoomsocks, which he did a video on a while back that I decided to try out for myself (his video can be found here). While it doesn't offer much extra health like most Warwick builds do, it offers armor, crit, attack speed, and lots of damage.

Lethality build
While lethality is not typically build on ww, I've found this build to work extremely well most of the time. It offers tons of damage and lethality (duh), ability haste, attack speed, crit, as well as extra armor, health, and mana. It's not as squishy as the main AD build while still offering a lot of damage. The extra movement speed (if you choose to build mobility boots) allows you to roam the enire map quickly, making it so you can help gank other lanes, secure objectives, and help in teamfights with ease.

AP build
Yet another build not as commonly seen on ww, but still a very good one. It's the tankiest of the builds here in terms of extra health, and is probably also the most bursty as well. The AP scaling on ww's Q will make it do tons of damage and heal you a insane amount, even if the enemy team builds anti-heal.

Main AD build
-high damage early game and late game
-gives good amount of armor
-gives good attack speed and crit.
-Galeforce active makes you that much more annoying and difficult to escape
-one shot squishies


Lethality build
-high damage early and late game
-offers good amount of armor and HP
-lots of ability haste
-damage scales even more with dark harvest
-tons of mobility and ganking potential
-one shot squishies
-can also work in jg

AP build
-Q does ton of damage and heals you for an insane amout
-offers lots of extra HP, mana, and some armor
-still does well into enemies with anti-heal (to a certain extent)
-stay in fights for much longer since you're constantly healing
-lots of ability haste
-can work just as well when playing jg

Main AD build
-you won't be tanky compared to other top laners
-while you do damage, you can't take as much abuse as most other ww builds let you
-goes through mana fast
-is viable in jg but not nearly as good

Lethality build
-you won't be as tanky compared to other top laners
-while you do damage, you can't take as much abuse as most other ww builds let you

AP build
-goes through mana very fast early game
-you won't do a ton of damage early game
-magic resist + anti-heal is the one thing you can't fight
-you are likely to get camped once they know how much you heal for
