Introduction
Hi! I am Youmare, I live on the Phillippines. I joined LoL in season 5.
I am currently 20 years old and I really hope you like this guide.
Why Master Yi?
Master Yi is a very fun champion to play. Though it requires a lot of skill to play in high elo. If you are looking forward on maining Yi, this Master Yi guide is definitely not for you. Yes I said not for you in purpose.
Chapter 1 [Jungling Route]
BLUE SIDE:: Red - Krugs - Raptors - Wolves - Blue - Scuttler - Gromp

If you're on Blue Side, ward their blue, and after you do that, recall and buy oracle lens. If you see their enemy jungler starting Blue first. Go to your blue and ask for a leash then secure their red in order to gap their enemy jungler. If you know that you're not in danger, you should probably take their farms.




RED SIDE: Blue - Gromp - Wolves - Raptors - Red - Scuttler - Krugs

Same thing with the blue side.
Chapter 2 [How to Farm]
If you're on blue side, ask your bot lane to leash you on your red.
Auto attack the red buff once, then alpha strike. Then if you have your alpha strike ready and you're still fighting the buff, use it. Make sure to kite it towards your Gromp, so you can use your passive on fighting the gromp.


- Keep auto attacking, upgrade E after you have defeaten the blue buff. If you auto attack 3 times,you wanna use your E so you can have high damage on the gromp. Make sure to smite the gromp though.

- Just auto attack and if you have your Q Alpha Strike ready, just alpha strike and the wolves are dead.

Fight the small ones first before the big one. Again, Alpha Strike when you have Alpha Strike.

I won't be explaining the rest as it is very obvious on how to do it.
Chapter 3 [Abilities]


Master Yi becomes untargetable and marks to up to 4 nearby enemies before dealing 25 / 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 (+1.0 per attack damage) physical damage to them. This ability deals 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 bonus damage to monsters. If there are no unmarked enemies in range, Master Yi may strike the same enemies again, dealing 25% of the ability's damage instantly.

This skill can critically strike, dealing 60% of Master Yi's attack damage as bonus physical damage.

Basic attacks lower Alpha Strike's cooldown by 1 second.



Master Yi's basic attacks deal 18 / 26 / 34 / 42 / 50 (+0.35 per bonus attack damage) bonus true damage for 5 seconds.



Master Yi channels for 4 seconds, restoring 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 (+25% of ability power) health per second. This amount is increased by 1% per 1% of health that Master Yi is missing. While channeling, Master Yi gains 60 / 62.5 / 65 / 67.5 / 70% damage reduction. This amount is halved against turrets.

Channeling Meditate pauses the durations of Wuju Style and Highlander and grants 1 stack of Double Strike per second.



Passive: Champion kills and assists reduce the cooldowns of Master Yi's other abilities by 70%.

Active: For 7 seconds, Master Yi gains 35 / 45 / 55% bonus movement speed and 25 / 45 / 65% attack speed and becomes immune to any slows. Master Yi also ignores unit collision for the duration of this effect. While active, kills and assists extend the duration by 7 seconds.




After landing 3 basic attacks, Master Yi's next attack within 4 seconds strikes twice, dealing 50% AD bonus physical damage which applies on-hit effects and can critically strike.

If Double Strike’s first hit kills a unit, the second strike now searches for a new target within 300 range (prioritizes killing blows).
Chapter 4 [Spells]
: For jungling.

: For early agression

In my opinion this is the most underrated spell in Master Yi ever. There are some few people who uses Cleanse. Cleanse removes the Crowd Controls and Master Yi cons is him not being really immune to Crowd Control.
Best thing to bring in ARAM if you will keep using Q and W.

If you're fighting against Jhin, or some champs that has a lot of movement speed.

This is very unnecessary as you can just buy some lifesteal.

: This could be necessary for top lane and if you want to gank when you're far.

Unnecessary.

Good for early aggression! Must take sorcery though..

Standard build for Master Yi. This is most likely used to secure kills and to escape. Really good!!
