Champion Build Guide

The Count Chadula Guide for 12.15

By Crazy Billy Bob
Build Explanation
Okay the build looks kind of goofy but hear me out, so Kled's weaknesses are:
Having a ton of HP is kind of not valuable with all the %HP damage running around
You need items to clear waves faster and create pressure on the map
You don't scale well into the late game because of no armor pen & no AoE
Dismounting is only good when you can reliably remount or are capable of taking down an enemy

So what is the solution?
First we build Black Cleaver against (potentially) armor stacking enemies, it's rarely a bad item anyway because of the stats
Next we build Ravenous Hydra, it's really not that bad, it massively increases waveclear, has better components (no kindlegem yay) and is the same price as Goredrinker
Now the Giga Kled mythic, Prowler's Claw, it makes target access better both dismounted and mounted ideal for creating havoc in the enemy backline, people don't expect how much stronger you got with all the lethality
Those 3 are the core items of the Giga Kled Count Chadula Build, after those items you build tanky.
Sample build: Doran's Blade> Caulfield's Warhammer> Plated Steelcaps/ Mercury's Treads> Black Cleaver> Caulfield's Warhammer> Pickaxe> Ravenous Hydra> Serrated Dirk> Prowler's Claw
This build makes sure that even the components feel like a powerspike, unlike the tank build which barely gives ad and the standard build with so many kindlegems

So what are the weaknesses of this build?
You don't have as much ability haste, health and you are also missing out on a conqueror stack with the Ironspike Whip active ability
You are also delaying the broken Death's Dance and Maw of Malmortius only for slightly better waveclear and damage
It also looks a little troll, but you are playing Kled so you really shouldn't care about what other people think of you anyway

But when Death's Dance/ Maw of Malmortius get nerfed, this will really be my go to build if Goredrinker is not going to be changed, rn the chadula build is not always the best build

The chadula build is mostly for ending games faster than the default bruiser build, which is good, but I do have to say that the default build is less punishing and more reliable because of the ability to soak more damage with it. Also ironspike whip is pretty good.

You can skip Cleaver and go Goredrinker/Lethality/Tank first when they don't build armor and/or you are not able to have extended trades whatsoever, Kled falls off the longer the game goes. You shouldn't drag games out by buying items that do not fit the situation.
Item Rating
Here's what I think of items that are used on Kled:
Mythic:
Goredrinker - the only mythic item that fixes most of kled's weaknesses, albeit in kind of an average way
Stridebreaker - as a first item it's neat, but you really don't need the movement speed passive
Eclipse - it feels good early, but falls off even more than gore even with the pen passive
Sunfire Aegis - once you build tank there's no going back, bami cinder like ironspike whip lock you into the mythic
Prowler's Claw - it's a really good powerspike item, but rarely as a first or second item
Immortal Shieldbow - it's not that good with all the executes running around ignoring the shield
Duskblade of Draktharr - it's a funny glass cannon item for full lethality kled, that's it
Frostfire Gauntlet - don't build it, it's like a ****py version of sunfire for kled
Trinity Force - it's way too expensive for what you get, also sheen is not good on kled
Divine Sunderer - same downsides as trinity, it really doesn't fix kled's weaknesses

Legendary:
Black Cleaver - kled's best legendary item, excellent stats and good passives that encourage extended trades
Ravenous Hydra - it's a pretty good alternative to goredrinker, but not as a first item since it ruins wave control
Titanic Hydra- holding giant belt as a component for this item feels really bad, only a powerspike when finished
Death's Dance - it's stupidly powerful when fighting enemy champions, but outside of fighting it's okay at best
Maw of Malmortius - very powerful shield and good stats, but shouldn't be build too early
Randuin's Omen - underappreciated item that may possibly turn unwinnable fights into your favor
Youmuu's Ghostblade - a pretty good item on kled, it's just difficult to squeeze into bruiser builds
Chempunk Chainsword - good and valuable stats for a cheap price, ideal against champions that heal a ton
Serylda's Grudge - inferior version of cleaver, but you can build both for more pen or only build this for direct pen
Blade of the Ruined King - only a powerspike when finished, feels miserable having the components only
Hullbreaker - usually isn't that good since you don't always want to split with ult up
Thornmail - it's not a powerspike item, only good after your 3 core items
Umbral Glaive - underrated, when ahead you could build it and gain control of enemy jungle
Wit's End - attack speed on kled is a wasted stat, but the magic damage is nice though
Force of Nature - is okay, but only if you really need the MR after building maw
Guardian Angel - only rarely should you ever build this, viable in glass cannon builds
Frozen Heart - if you don't have enough for randuin's and a teamfight starts soon, then it's not actually that bad

Boots:
Plated Steelcaps - your go-to boots against (fed) ad champs, funnily enough these boots also counter you
Mercury's Treads - high value against ap and cc based comps, usually not build against individual champs
Ionian Boots of Lucidity - they are a good choice when you are ahead and/or they are not capable of dismounting you
Boots of Swiftness - the surprise factor of increased movement speed may be good against ranged champions
Berserker's Greaves - don't bother, lucidity boots lower W cooldown effectively increasing your atk spd

Now for the funny items:
Silvermere Dawn - why would you ever want this instead of maw
Evenshroud - it was good, but now with everyone tankier you should build more ad
Gargoyle Stoneplate - shield is okay, but deaths dance and maw are of higher priority now
The Collector - stats are okay, but it doesn't really fix kled's weaknesses
Edge of Night - the stats are not that good and the passive is only useful as glass cannon
Axiom Arc - an item no champion builds anymore, could be okay as kled mid
Navori Quickblades - too expensive for what it does and doesn't make sense to build
Serpent's Fang - it was an excellent item, but with the stats for the price it's weak
