Here's the thing, we've all by now seen Midbeast and his reviews of the Chinese Qiyana who makes things look insanely great right? I mean it made me and a lot of people want to try her out.
He talks about a lot of things but what I want you all to focus on is what is the "Optimal" combo and how often are you personally doing it? The TLDR is that to get that sorta damage that was displayed in those vids it requires you to be animation canceling and getting Autos in (which is insanely hard on a melee character with little atk spd).

What I'm about to give here is a way to get her to PRETTY DAMN Close to the max dps BUT also easier AND more frequently. So let's understand before we go further because I don't want anyone to misunderstand.

MY Build is going to make her DPS/Damage Easier, More Consistent and More Frequent Access to it, whereas before with her Rune and Item setup you would ONLY be able to reach "optimal" Damage if you understood how to Animation cancel consistently and I'm going to say this again, this is VERY hard for a melee champ with little atk spd.

Thanks to LoLMath.Net YOU can actually look at the numbers yourself, you won't have to worry about trying to recreate my tests and WHEN you see how much more dps my build brings you will see from the start that what I was saying wasn't Hyperbole.

My Build gives higher DPS/Burst throughout ALL Stages of the Game and you can look at https://lolmath.net/itemop/qiyana/ just go plug in Items in Comparison to what you normally play (Chances are your full lethality build is going to be super low) then plug in MY Build along with the Runes and you can see straight up that my Build gives the Heat, giving you more Damage and kill pressure Earlier and more often.

So if anyone says "Oh it's bad" no, no no no, YOUR Build is bad; The numbers flat out say so! My Build is LITERALLY ONE OF The BEST Builds you could use on QiQi because just like I said in the beginning, you have more all in kill potential earlier with HOB then you do with Electrocute, you have more kill potential throughout ALL stages of the game with HOB over Electrocute. My Runes and Items are just better and I encourage all to look at the numbers before you go and cry about how your favorite streamer isn't doing it, so what? Maybe they just don't know about it yet?
Don't assume just because someone plays Qiyana at a High Level that they Theorycraft her, cause chances are they don't

The "Meat"! You already saw the side dishes via the items and now i'll get into the Runes which is what Really makes this!

We go Hail of Blades and the reason why is because for
1) it gives us more frequent access to burst (HOB CD actually lines up with W Cd pretty great)
2) it lessens the skill floor AND the ceiling so that basically ANYONE can get close to her optimal damage
3) The damage difference in 1 Rotation/Combo is only very very SLIGHTLY less than Electro BUT you get MORE access to it, essentially HOB is up EVERYTIME W IS UP, 4) You actually have kill pressure EARLIER!

Sounds TOO GOOD RIGHT?! Well that's because it's just really really really good and ya know I don't know why it's taken this long but if you play Qiyana, you struggle and have no idea why or how then play my build. Give it a shot and get use to it

This is So Effin Fool Proof and the BEST part is you can do this EVERY 7 SECONDS!

Get the Ice Enchant (W - River) wait for your W to get close to off CD then when you get ready to trade just do this, Q to Root the person and slow them, W onto Stone or Grass (whatever you want) and start attacking! HOB will proc and you will instantly chunk your opponent then Finish with a Q into AA! You could even End with a E Q AA or something of sorts

This Combo is essentially Guaranteed! the only way they can get out of it AT LEVEL 2 is to either Flash or have A blink/dash/teleport otherwise they WILL be eating all of that Damage and let me tell you right now that it is very very very close to the very top DAMAGE possiblility of a Lv 3 Electrocute All in by that I mean it's like literally -20 to -30 damage less BUT like i said you have more access to the combo AND you don't have to worry about AA weaving!

You can still do regular poke dmg and everything with Q but the All in at lv 2 is actually pretty significant and easy to pull off so even if you are lv 2 you are actually able to get kill pressure easily

Let's not pretend we are all Faker or something, most of us are average Mechanically and Even MIDBEAST said he couldn't even replicate that Chinese Qiyana players damage Consistently! And that's what this is about!

If I told you I give you damage that is only very very slightly less to the max damage potential of Qiyana, more frequent access to it, earlier access to it and oh yeah btw it's EASIER! What's not to like?

That's not hyperbole btw that's a fact! If you don't believe then try it, literally I made this so that you get effing SO close to Max Damage but so that ANYONE can do it!

OR

You can play Qiqi and maybe get some wins with Coinflipping that Electrocute build which Statistically by Winrate and Gamewin rate isn't working and lets not understate this either; Electrocute by the Numbers doesn't work consistently and I gave the reasons as to why I believe this is
