DISCLAIMER:
This guide will mainly focus on the Top lane, if you want a Jungle guide this may not be the one you want.

For Quints, I like Attack Speed, it's useful in both the lane and the jungle. The bonus attack speed early is good for making use of the bonus damage fervor of battle grants.

For Marks, I like Hybrid Pen, it synergises well with Jax's mixed damage.

For Glyphs, I like Scaling Magic Resistance, Magic damage normally peaks later into the game so scaling makes it more useful.

For Seals, I like Flat Armour, this helps a lot against an AD opponent in lane, this can help you win duels early.
For Masteries, I put 18 points in Ferocity.
I like 5 points in Fury, because attack speed is really good on Jax.
I then like a point in Double Edged Sword, it can really help getting those early kills in lane and snowballing the game.
I like 5 points in Natural Talent, extra damage is always awesome, and being both AD and AP this is really good for Jax.
I like a point in Oppressor, Bounty Hunter is unreliable, and the damage from Oppressor works well with your E.
I put 3 points in Battering Blow and 2 points in Piercing Thoughts, this works really well with your runes and your general damage output
I use the keystone Fervor of Battle, this is probably the best keystone for Jax, because of how much he auto attacks in a fight, it works well with Fury and the attack speed Quints as well.
I put the remaining 12 points into Resolve.
I like 5 points in Recovery, it just helps in lane granting you some extra sustain.
I like a point in Tough Skin, Jax is a duelist and the damage reduction helps in early game duels and trades.
I like 5 points in Veteran Scars, this is for the same reasons as Tought Skin.
I like a point in Insight, This helps with with Flash engages and more TPs, which is great for a hardcore splitpusher like Jax.
I like 5 points in Fury, because attack speed is really good on Jax.

Super good for a Top Lane splitpusher like Jax, Teleport lets you join fights across the map You Should Always Bring This In The Top Lane

A staple on basically every champion, allows for some amazing playmaking potential with your E and Q.

Ghost is super fun on most champions, Jax can make good use of it, especially if you are good at ward jumping with his Q, Ghost can be hard to use if you don't use it very often though.

Why you bring this, I don't really know. It can help with some hard matchups if your experienced on Jax.

Great kill pressure early, can help you snowball early. Be careful though as with this your only escape if your Q.
