Hello summoners!
My name is kxis. I'm from EUW server. Today i want to talk about Trundle I discover this champ on bots. Since that moment i wanted to play always in top. I want to explain how i play Trundle and try to help some players to enjoy him too. Let's start

PROS

+ Very hard tank.
+ Has sustain during early game.
+ Ulti dangerous during team fights.
+ Can block enemy's run.
+ Short cd in our ulti, Subjugate

Don't forget Trundle is a good single fighter on 1 v 1, BUT only since level 6. Before 6 we have some useful skills but we have better chance with our Subjugate.

Cons

- Has hard early.
- Need to be kitted.
- Some problems to master.
- Hasn't any cc.

Trundle has hard early. We need to choose the correct items to tank well during team fights or we will in troubles.We need to know how to use your skills or maybe we block ourself even our team.

I chose this runes because Trundle's skills are very useful if you know how to combine them.

We need some extra attack to maximize the effect of our Q Chomp for that reason I chose those quint and mark runes. Because that extra damage with this lifesteal works well with our W Frozen Domain. We have extra speed attack and extra heals, works well to have some sustain during lane phase.

My glyphs and seals are very common. But sometimes one basic choice its a perfect option. In our case that runes works very well with Trundle's ulti Subjugate and our masteries. We can steal more armor and more RM for tank better during the team fights.

Some people use Mark of Attack Speed, isn't bad idea but I like to play with more attack more than speed.

Offense I use that speed to make last hit and don't have much problems with the farm till I have Tiamat and Frozen Domain

Use that amount of attack damge to have some help during the early

Defense Use this masterie for win extra armor and RM. That is good choice steal more with Subjugate and let your enemy without any armor and RM.
With that extra health regen we can spend more time on our lane. Works very well with Doran's Shield and Frozen Domain because we have 12 health regeneration and extra % from our skill.
I don't spent all the points here because i prefrer use more points on Recovery and Enchanted Armor .
Extra life which works very well with the Trundle's ulti, Subjugate and help more during early game.
More health, the same reason as Veteran Scars .
We have more armor during early game, when Trundle is more weak.
We need extra RM till our runes has enough amount of RM.
We need all the extra health regeneration which is posible because during early game we maybe have some troubles with any champion who has better early game.
This mastery works very well during team fights because it's when we suffer more damage and when our items are more importants. Works very well with Frozen Domain and Ravenous Hydra.
This mastery it is like Wukong passive and grants goo amount of armor and RM during team fights and when we are in a gank.
This mastery it's perfect when we are in a team fight and we need to resist all the cc from enemy's team because this 15% work with our Mercury's Treads

About skill sequence I must to say only one thing. Pillar of Ice its our cc and has some problems to master. Its coold down is high but enough if we play safe. Don't forget Spirit Visage and his 20% less of cd, its enough for Trundle and his Pillar of Ice.

One important thing for those people who enjoy playing Trinity Force you must to know our Chomp works as the skill from Nasus Siphoning Strike. You can active Chomp before use and have Trinity Force passive active and with the cd from Chomp you can use every moment. Becarefull when you use other skills. You will have lots of damage but maybe sometimes Chompworks without passive.

During a combat we need to start with Chomp and Frozen Domain after we fight a little use Subjugate and Ignite are the best combo to do extra damage. With extra attack damage, armor, RM, attack speed and our heal we have a nice chance to win our opponent. Trundle is very hard when we fight 1 v 1 because we steal a lot of stats from the other player.

Another tip when we start a fight and we have Ravenous Hydra we can restart the attack with Chompand the active skill from Ravenous Hydra. Start with Frozen Domain make the first hit with Chompand after use Ravenous Hydra.

those two spell from my point of view are very useful with Trundle. We can make one nice combo when we are on trouble with Pillar of Ice, Frozen Domainand Flash. Place first Pillar of Ice to stuck our enemy after use Frozen Domain and if its necesary use Flash.


Sometime we can try to play Teleport. Don't use it often but I recognize that it is useful. With Teleport we can help better other lanes or push lanes when is necessary.

Early game

This part is the hardest for Trundle we need to play safe. Try to let minions push the lane near our tower and start to last hit them there. Most game we can start with Doran's Shield and Health Potion when you understand well Trundle you won't need nothing else. Because the most played top champions usually have some problems with him.
If is possible don't recall till you have for Pickaxe, Rejuvenation Bead, Long Sword and Boots. But no worries if you can't resist till have money for Boots. It is more important buy those other 3 items.

MID GAME

When we arrive to mid game we need to have Tiamat because we need farm better and start to push the lane till enemy´s tower. After push lane we need to go other lanes to help our team or don't let enemy's top player goes to another lane. if we are alone place Stealth Wardand Stealth Ward in enemy's jungle path for have some sight and break down them tower and push a little more. During mid game we must to hit his top player, but don't kill him until you're sure. If we can take some death we have a nice chance to win our lane. Other kind to have a death during the lane phase: let the push enemy till our tower and try to make they dive you. When they start to dive as a Jax or some other hard champ you must to hit him, use Ignite and be near tower all the time because. When they want to kill you you must to block his escape path with Pillar of Ice and see how our tower makes a kill. During mid game we need to build Tiamat, Kindlegem or Spectre's Cowl. After build this items finish Ravenous Hydra and Spirit Visage. If our game is going well and we have Warmog's Armor we'll win lane phase.

LATE GAME

Now we can say one thing, it's our time. Now we need to have the correct build and only tank team fights and split push some lanes, with Frozen Domainand Chomp every tower are for us. Try to cover the adc all the time it is possible or cover the best player. DON'T FORGET we are the tank for us its more important support than have death, then don't cry or flame if somebody ks us. Every player who is alive means we make well our work. With our Subjugate we have extra armor and RM very important to tank the team fight and resist all the damage is possible. Usually I focus with Subjugate enemy tank, adc or the best player, depends from the game. Don't forget block the escape path from best player with Pillar of Ice. Only enemies like Kassadin, Jax, Lee Sin or something similar can jump Pillar of Ice. If they don't do it. They HAVE to use Flash, then is a enemy less with one important summoner's spell. If we block our own path by an error or beacuse they use Flashwhen we place the Pillar of Ice, no worries keep calm and continue with the fight.

Have a nice skill with Trundleis hard. We need to practice a lot and know where are the best places to ambush enemy or block. Don't forget our early is very difficult because Trundlehighly dependent object. But no worries every minute is past we are more stronger.

For me its the most important thing during the game. How I explained before during the early game we have some trouble because we start only with 64 attack damage then we need to learn how to make well last hit. My strategy to farm calm and don't be worry about ganks its let our enemy push till near of my tower. When we have Tiamat our strategy need to suffer some changes. Because we push now more hard. For this reason place ward on the river and near the enemy jungle. Need to be protected from ganks.
Before we have our Tiamat maybe we have less farm than our foe, no worries. As i said it our Tiamat makes we have the same amount in a few time.

Usually I finish the games with 250 creeps or near this amount.

Now we need to talk about that champions who can give us some troubles. I try to explain
according to the time of the game.

Early play calm and let push near the tower. With Toxic Shot and Blinding Dart we have trouble till we have Spectre's Cowl. mid game when we have our Spectre's Cowl and maybe Mercury's Treads we have now one chance to kill Teemo. Late now its our moment we need to pay attention when Teemo shots Blinding Dart after this moment we can crush him with Chomp, if we play before our Chomp we lose damage.

Early Depends from our enemy if he or she are good with jax they play calm till level 6. Build Ninja Tabi and Randuin's Omen mid During this part we need to pay attention to his build and his stats. Late Usually I don't have very hard problems if I play alone vs Jax. The most important thing is wait till Jax plays Grandmaster-At-Arms then is when we play Subjugate and we can win easy Jax.

Early This champion is very hard to play with Trundlehow she hasn't mana and works only with cds is difficult to fight. An how she has % health damage Flame Breath we are on trouble when she has all the skills. Try to play safe till level 6 then we have one chance. Mid When Shyvana has level 6 becareful because she can use it for kill us or run away from us NEVER follow, only if you have good sight of the map. Late Now its our moment to win Shyvana play calm and wait the right moment to play Subjugate then we win easy.

Like Teemo play safe and don't follow. Kennen its more fast and has her stun. Her ulti Slicing Maelstrom its very dangerous. If her team works well they can crush us very fast. Our advantage with Trundle is don't stop to hit. If we stop we lose Frozen Domaineffects and we can't use our Chomp. Try to put on trouble during the early because when Kennen has level 6 we start to have problems.

Early We need to let Dr. Mundopush and famr calm. Be careful with Infected Bonesaw and Heart Zapper they hurt us more than we think. Build fast Mercury's Treadsand Spectre's Cowl. Mid game or late game depends from our stats. But with the correct build and a nice team work we won't have problems.

Early we need to be ready for evade Razor Shuriken. Zed can farm with it and hit us. When Zed has level 3 or 4 pay attention to Living Shadow and Shadow Slash now he can combine and make us lot of damge. Usually they rush The Brutalizernow with armor pen. and 10% less cd we will have some trouble. Mid we need tohave now some armor Ninja Tabi is and excellent idea to evade skills from Zedand has some armor. we always need have some Health Potion because when Zed reach level 6 he has his ulti Death Mark. Then if we won't have good items we need to play safe till have our armor and good amount of health. Late if Zed isn't feed we won't have problems beacuse with Subjugate and Ignite we kill him easy. If is feed only play safe and let our adc makes his/her works
