For summoner spells you can also use
and
, but in my opinion
and
work better. I don't reccomend you to use any other Summoner Spells because they just don't work so good on Xin Zhao.
I took Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage for that extra AD what goes well with Xin Zhao. I took Greater Glyph of Magic Resist for that extra magic resist which will make it easire to play against AP casters. Greater Mark of Attack Damage gives Xin Zhao a total of 15,65 AD with the Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage. Greater Seal of Armor is overally a good defensive rune making it harder to harm Xin Zhao
Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
+Edit: Greater Quintessence of Life Steal are really strong on him, so it's up to you if you want more AD or Life Steal, I personally prefer Life Steal Quints, because they help you lane and sustain more.
Runes
I max Three Talon Strike first because that is your main damage source. I take Battle Cry second because of its heal and huge attack speed boost. I max Audacious Charge last.
In fight use skills in this order or
NOTE!Always use Battle Cry before Three Talon Strike because Three Talon Strike lowers the cooldowns by three seconds. This way you can land your Three Talon Strike faster and you can also use your Battle Cry sooner.
NOTE! Use Crescent Sweep as early as possible in a fight as it deals more damage when enemies have close to full health. You can also use it to separate enemies in team fights as it pushes them away from you.
NOTE! Three Talon Strike and Audacious Charge reset your auto attack timer.
Xin Zhao's basic attacks, including those enhanced by Three Talon Strike and Audacious Charge, will reduce the target's armor by 15% for 3 seconds.
Xin Zhaos passive is very good with Black Cleaver.
Xin Zhao prepares to unleash a fearsome combo, causing his next 3 standard attacks to deal his attack damage + 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 (+1.2 per attack damage)to enemy targets, with the final attack knocking his opponent into the air.
As your main damage resource max it first and use it as much as possible to harass/kill your enemies.
Passive: Xin Zhao passively heals himself every third basic attack by 25 / 31 / 37 / 43 / 50 (+70% of ability power).
Active: Xin Zhao unleashes a battle cry, granting him 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 % attack speed for 5 seconds.
Xin Zhaos Battle Cry is a very good attack speed boost which also heals you on every third hit.
Xin Zhao charges and challenges an enemy. The charge deals 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+0.6 per ability power) magic damage to all nearby enemies and slows them for 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% for 2 seconds.
Audacious Charge is a nice gap closer which deals AOE damage and applies a slow to enemies. It also activates Xin Zhaos passive.
Xin Zhao unleashes a sweep around him that dealing 125 / 225 / 325 (+ 1.0 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to all nearby enemies equal to a base amount plus 15% their current health and knocks them back. Xin Zhao gains 15 / 20 / 25 bonus armor and magic resistance for 6 seconds for each champion hit.
If a challenged target is hit by the sweep, it is unaffected by the knockback.
Xin Zhaos ultimate is a very powerful and useful ultimate if used right it can be used to separate enemies in team fight confusing them making them unable to help each other.
As Xin Zhao you should focus enemy squishies/carries in team fights and make them unable to join the team fight with your Crescent Sweep.

are also good when your enemy team has lots of CC and 2 or more AP casters.
are good when enemy team consists of autoattackers or is heavily AD.

gives Xin Zhao even more attack speed and some movement speed to chase enemies. It also gives Critical Chance which will make your attacks really strong because by now you will already have 2 AD items.

is a really good last item for every AD carry including Xin Zhao because of its passive and stats.
is a really strong item now, giving you AD, Lifesteal, attack speed and an awesome passive which overally makes it an awesome item.
could also be a last item if you are feeling that you don't need any extra survivability.

As Xin Zhao you should always try to farm as much as possible, when someone pokes you while farming either fall back or go attack because Xin Zhao is really strong when going all in. Every game you do you should have over 150 minion kills and over 250 in long games as Xin Zhao. You can use Battle Cry and Three Talon Strike to farm minions when you need.
