Here's what I'm up to:
1) Blitz - Orichi
1) Akali - BMB
3) Jarvan - Sacull (pg 6)
4) Akali - Koh (pg 7)
5) Renekton - Keels
6) Ezreal - Blydden
7) Ezreal - Hugin (pg 8)
8) Teemo - Devilesse (pg 10)
9) Xin Zhao - Tinolas
10) Soraka - Summoner
11) Alistar - PsiGuard
12) Jax - Chesswinner
Please tell me if I've missed your request. My sister's 17th was the night before last, and a few days ago I had to drive 6hrs to get to her home town, so as you can image, I've been a bit busy with irl stuff.
I have a 21st to attend on Saturday, and I need to do last minute rush shopping on Friday, so I'll try to get done as much as possible. I then drive back home on Sunday, so if all else fails, expect more reviews done after this Sunday.
Holidays are never holidays when you have to do stuff ^^

Orochinagi's Blitzcrank Guide
Verdict: A comprehensive Blitz guide, that covers the basics.
Possible Improvements: There needs to be more colour/coding throughout the guide to make objects, champions, abilities and spells stand out. Some more colour would be beneficial. Some screenshots (like of the range of
Rocket Grab) or videos of gameplay (hooking someone to the tower, fisting and killing them) would be cool to see. A screenshot of the walls Blitz can grab over would be great for new Blitz's.
Constructive Criticism:
1) A small thing, but Glyphs of Celerity are better late game, whereas Glyphs of Focus are better early game (will give you more grabbing power). Focus: 5%, Celerity: 8%. It's only a difference of 3%, and you don't achieve the full 8% until level 18.
2) I was going to argue that levelling
Power Fist over
Overdrive would be better, but I wasn't aware of
Rocket Grab's cooldowns. And as generally you're combo-ing the two, it'd make sense to keep it at equal cooldowns.
3) If you're going for survivability, I'd chuck in a
Banshee's Veil somewhere in that build, or at least an early
Catalyst of Aeons, seeing as it'd give you more mana for your abilities, and for
Mana Barrier.
4) Mastery Tree set up is fine, just wondering why you put a point in buffs when they should be going to the natural casters/dps on the team.
5) Throughout your guide you should be using more of the wikicoding. ie:
Rocket Grab,
Overdrive. You need to add the coding so that all the text is broken up by the images.
6) "Ghost. Seriously? You've got Overdrive and you got speed boots. Why would you need to run even faster?" Merc's are not speedy boots ^^
7) In your "Skill Sequence" section, you need some colour and distinction between LoL's description of the ability, and your own explanation. This can be achieved in many ways, and I'm sure you'll find a set-up that will suit you.
8) I just quickly scrolled through your guide and noticed you didn't add any large wikicoding anywhere.

You can play around with the sizes to see what you like best. Generally I go 30 for icons of small explanations (
Exhaust), 40 for important explanations (
Last Whisper) and 50-60 for titles/showing abilities/summoners to head a section.

theBMB's Akali Guide
Verdict: A in-depth Akali guide with a lot of information about gameplay, which gives essential information about how to play her.
Possible Improvements: More colour, coding and images would be great. Some video gameplay would be beneficial. Perhaps a section about Akali's combo would help new Akali players. If you want more publicity on your guide, you might want to archive your guide until another Akali free week and release it again.
Constructive Criticism:
1) I would advise never having more than one visible build. Just list the alternative items in your item section. (especially in this case, considering you have a core build for all three builds).
2) You don't have much survivability. As an anti-carry, Akali has to risk her life to take down their damage. As such, maybe consider more items that will give her more survivability. Even though
Banshee's Veil gives mana, it is still a great item.
3) I looked at your mastery tree set-up and thought, "Hey, I remember this":
Hi, some constructive criticism:
1) Dodge runes? Dodge boots? Dodge masteries? On Akali? D: With your build you'd want Sorcerer's Shoes to maximize your damage potential.
2) The disadvantage of specifying in the defense tree is that you're not utilising the Awareness gain in the Utility tree. Hitting level 6 as fast as you can is something that is absolutely imperative to early gameplay. If you still want to keep your dodge chance, you could always go ?/?/8 to get that Awareness bonus + Good Hands
3) Great commentary and written guidance throughout your guide - commendable ^^
+1, but I'd recommend turning on Comment to Vote until you hit that 20 vote mark ^^
3) In your screenshots of recent matches, I think you should remove the greyed out scores.
4) Your Character Fundamentals is perhaps in the wrong place. It also needs some coding and colouring to make people want to read it.
5) In your explanation of Masteries, you don't even mention a 9/0/21 set up.

Thanks for the tips,
1) I guess I can remove the other builds, I just don't want people coming to my guide and leaving if they disagree with some of the items in a single build.
2) My first build puts the survivability in the runes and masteries, so it's never really an issue, especially after getting giant's belt/rylais. Although I can see why it would be necessary in the last build. Passive Spellvamp and a revolver also give her a lot of sustainability.
4) I'll do that, i did feel like it was a bit of a tl;dr kinda thing
5)I don't mention it because that's mostly bad. Going 9/0/21 means putting points into mana related abilities and/or putting a lot of points into things like death timer reduction or buff duration, which isn't essential to akali's playstyle. The only utility akali gets out of the utility tree is increased experience and reduction of cd on flash, but that's about it. She's an anti-carry, not a caster.
As for the videos I need to dig through my LoL replays to find some good clips
Also what does archiving do exactly?

Archiving removes your guide from the public eye. You can always choose to "un-archive" it when you like, but alternatively, you can just copy the guide and release a new one.
Because you only have two votes, it wouldn't hurt to re-release it (whereas someone with 10+ votes may not like to release it), but it's entirely up to you :)
You can always ask people like Wrath, Adonikam, Searz, Jebus in PMs to vote on your new guide when it comes out, and I'm sure they'll give you great advice :)

Sacull_Kinslayer's Jarvan Guide
Verdict: A very in-depth Jarvan guide that explains all of his abilities in exquisite detail. Recommended read.
Possible Improvements: Needs some colour and serious reorganisation/removal of redundancy. Needs some coding (columns to make lengthy sections more attractive). You really need a jungling section, as Jarvan is a great jungle tank.
Constructive Criticism:
1) Your summoner spells are not ideal. Considering that
Cataclysm is such a great cc ability, you'd want to utilise
Flash to pull it off in case you don't combo
Demacian Standard and
Dragon Strike right.
2) Your "Skills" section could use some colour to emphasise the different abilities. Like Searz said, you need some differentiation between ideas.
3)
Unstoppable Force can only get into
Cataclysm, not out of it.
4) ? This isn't a jungle Jarvan guide? o.O
5) Your "Core Build"s made me confused. Maybe coz I'm tired, but a lot of it seemed like repeated information... why not just have all the items listed as:
Early Game
Mid Game
Late Game
for better organisation?
6) I think the problem I'm having is how you've formatted the guide. I think these sections need to be merged: "A Note on Jarvan's DPS with Tank Items. And some low level tips" + "General Tips for Tank Builds"
7) "WARMOG'S ARMOR vs MADRED'S BLOODRAZOR. The Math." should be at the end of the guide (is it really imperitive to have it in the middle?). It doesn't really do anything to your guide - like, what are you trying to say with it? "Resistances are only good with health" - that basically sums up the entire section.
8) "The Tank: Your Place in Things" should be somewhere before the gameplay section.
If I were to reorganise your guide, it'd look like this:
Introduction
Operation Human Shield My @$$! (aka A Warning)
Masteries
Summoner Spells
Runes
Skills
Golden Aegis
E+Q: A Knock Up Combo.
Cataclysm. Jarvan's ultimate, an expanded explanation.
Counters to Cataclysm and Tips on Countering the Counters.
Weird Bugs with Cataclysm and the Knock Up Combo.
A Note on Jarvan's DPS with Tank Items. And some low level tips + General Tips for Tank Builds
General Items Builds (the items you get most of the time)
Alternative Items Discussed (the items you get rarely)
Creepin 'n Crawlin: Laning and Jungling
The Tank: Your Place in Things + Team Fights
WARMOG'S ARMOR vs MADRED'S BLOODRAZOR. The Math.
9) I do think you need to do a little bit of rearranging. I also think your "countering" sections need some columns or something to make the space used smaller.
So, for example:
10) A jungling section would be good. There's a reason why Jarvan was the best performing tank at dreamhack.

Caitlyn's Ace in the Hole Dr. Mundo's Infected Cleaver: Better to avoid but if you can't... Ezreal's Trueshot Barrage: Better to avoid as well... Heimerdinger's Hextech Micro-Rockets and CH-1 Concussion Grenade Karthus's Requiem |
LeBlanc and about anything she does if you are low on health. Lux's Lucent Singularity and Finales Funkeln. Miss Fortune's Make it Rain and Bullet Time. Mordekaiser and anything he does when you are low health. Your shield is especially useful during the ticks of Children of the Grave. Nidalee's Javelin Toss / Takedown. The Javelin Toss part you can shield against. Nunu's Ice Blast and Absolute Zero. Preferably you will interrupt AZ... but if not... Olaf's Undertow. |
10) A jungling section would be good. There's a reason why Jarvan was the best performing tank at dreamhack.

Fix'd
Wrath is an "upvoter", regardless of how good the build is. Don't trust him D:
He might be able to give some criticism on the guide tho.

KoH_pHresh's Akali Guide
Verdict: A good build, but only an average guide
Possible Improvements: Needs to look at colour, coding, grammar, spelling and other general aesthetics. Author needs to look at the other guides on this site to see what works/what is wanted in a guide. Needs better organisation too.
Constructive Criticism:
1) Where are your summoner spells?
2) Generally guides with
Mejai's Soulstealer in it are downvoted because guides shouldn't utilise snowballing items.
3) Don't include the Lore.
4) There seems to be a lot of coding errors throughout your guide. Lots of empty space etc.
5) Abilities section should be after your summoner spells and pros/cons.
6) Skill Sequence should be under Abilities section
7) All your icon images are too big and look way out of place amongst the text.
8) Grammatical errors throughout guide, need to run it through some spell/grammar checks.
