Runes: 9 Atk Spd, 9 Scaling HP, 9 Scaling CDR, 2 Flat CDR + 1 Scaling CDR
Masteries: 4-26-0

Summary:

0LP. Yay! Teemo got destroyed in lane by Tryndamere and didn’t seem to have much game sense at all. LeBlanc was our only bright spot and she did try to help out the other lanes, picking up a few kills, but the pressure from a roaming Malphite, Hecarim, Tryndamere, and Alistar were just too much to deal with.

Our Caitlyn did a good job of staying alive and she picked up a few kills while we were depending our base, but it was too little too late since Tryndamere could 1v1 anyone on our team there wasn't anything we could do to stop him from taking turrets and even inhibitors without losing something else on the map to the rest of their team.

Leblanc got ganked under turret by Hecarim and Malaphite and died. Malphite backed off and Hecarim ended up having to run through jungle to get away from me and the turret at about half health. Leblanc asked me why I didn’t chase him. “Chase a Hecarim, that isn’t even that low on health? Yeah, right!"

Things I did well:

My jungle routes and such went according to plan.

Things I could do better:

Get a better plan? I did gank top but it was honestly just to keep Teemo alive. Nothing else was really gained from those efforts. Mid lane was winning and I did help Leblanc pick up a couple of kills on Malaphite. She and I both roamed Bot Lane to try and get that lane rolling and there were pretty much always four of their team there too, so we would trade some kills, including usually Leblanc who had some questionable engages and positioning.

I feel like we lost this one at champion select and to top that off, our individual play wasn't good enough to make up the difference.

Runes: 9 Arm, 9 Health, 9 MR, 3 Arm Quints
Masteries: 0-21-9

Summary:

Bad Lee Sin, Malzahar went AFK after getting nommed on by Cho’Gath the second or third time. Lee pulls iffy gank on Morgana and Jinx. We get Morgana, but give up a triple kill to Jinx. Rengar basically only one winning lane, but Cho could effectively nom him in one rotation, so he wan’t able to deal damage for very long.

Things I did well:

Gave Vayne space to farm. She missed some CS under turret, but I did the job of priming the casters with an auto prior to tower shots.

Things I could do better:

Took more poke in lane than I should have.

Know where the enemy jungler is before trying to put a deep ward in their jungle. Ran into him at Blue the first time. Second time, I ran into him again and got really unlucky as Jinx and Cho who were deep mid on our inner rotated right in what was to be my escape path. They did miss my ward when they tried to sweep the area after I was dead. Small victories. xD

Your real problem was that your skin choice sucked and you should play a support that doesn't have stupid skins. Like Renekton support. Because all his skins, with exception to that ****ty galactic skin, are the bee's knees. Trust me. That's how you carry in silver.

Hmmm, Renekton has a dash in and dash out via Slice and Dice, a reliable stun in Ruthless Predator, and he does lots of AoE damage with Cull the Meek and Dominus. Plus Pool Party Renekton comes equipped with one of the ultimate support items, a rescue can. Sounds like winning to me!

And Slice and Dice shreds armor. Let's face it: Renekton is just better than you and everyone else out there.

Runes: Atk Spd, scaling Health, scaling MR, Arm Quints
Masteries: 9-21-0

Summary:

I am not really sure what to do anymore. Two minion waves in Riven is pinging for help. Lee Sin set up camp at mid lane and Yasuo wasn’t respecting that fact and then starts *****ing at me for not helping him with the camp. And I help Bot pick up two double kills, albeit the fed Vladimir Teleported down and even out the lane kills.

Every time I roamed top to go help Riven she was dead by the time I got there.

I suggested that Riven buy a Hexdrinker and she did which made her last about two attacks instead of instantly getting deleted when she dove into their entire team over and over.

We managed to murder them all at a fight at our mid tower and pick up a dragon while they were down, but that was basically the last gasp.

Oh my team decided to start one more fight right after I based in front of them all to go some more MR and Armor. Start a fight without the tank. Brilliant!

Things I did well:

Felt like Bot lane ganks were effective.

Things I could do better:

Be more places at once?

Questions

What do you do about Vlad? He hurts like hell even if you buy MR. Troll pool then Zhonyas I can kind of deal with. You just have to wait and be able to absorb the damage he is going to dish out after his abilities come off cool down. But I usually have to do it by myself if I am the tank because none of the squishier can be near unless they are close to full health.

Runes: Hyd Pen, scaling Health, scaling MR, Arm Quints
Masteries: 21-0-9

Summary:

I am not entirely sure how we won this as Hecarim was destroying us early game. But we stuck with it and set up a lot of opportunities for Vayne to do Vayne things.

For my part. First Cho’Gath matchup as Sion he is like other tank match-ups except I believe I could have killed him at level three if I played it better as he took a beating from my ability rotation. The hard part is baiting out his silence and knock-up as they both cancel Decimating Smash. He also simply heals up your Roar of the Slayer damage for the most part so it would probably be better to only get one point in it for the slow.

Things I did well:

Grouped with the team. Tanked stuff. Locked up people I could lock up and peeled for Vayne and Ziggs.

Things I could do better:

CS. CS. CS. And hit ultimates. Need to remember that they are easier to dodge if you ult right in their face.

Spamming some ranked games over the last couple of days.

Results haven’t been pretty for the most part.

Saddest game was the 4-11-14 Sion game when I got demolished in lane by an Aatrox. I think that matchup should go better. But despite buying a Warden's Mail quickly and some Ninja Tabi he kicked my tail.

If I had a do over I would go Crystalline Flask over Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions and I would have leveled Decimating Smash over Soul Furnace. Basically the idea would be to slow him and zone him with my Q to keep him from healing up off the minion wave. Then pick up a Warden’s Mail and some Mercury's Treads to mitigate his slow and the magic damage from Blades of Torment.

Gragas game I got our Nidalee fed with a couple of ganks on Kayle after Nid traded for first blood on Kayle.

Morgana game was a pub stomp in the sense that all our lanes won fairly hard and we kept the peddle to the metal for the most part. Their Caitlyn kindly walked right up to the bush I was standing to drop ward and so I hit her with Dark Binding, which gave our Graves time to get in position for a point blank Buckshot. Between that and me keeping Graves safe from Blitzcrank hooks with Black Shield we were able to keep our boots on their throats throughout laning phase.

I was planning on playing Graves and once I saw the Blitz pick and asked for a Leona, Braum, or Morgana support and our last pick said he had Morgana but didn’t really know who to use her so I traded with him. I ended up not switching out Heal fast enough for Exhaust so we had a double heal Bot Lane. The heal actually came in handy a couple of times.

The Pantheon game was one of those who counters Teemo games since I got ended up with top. I think this lane and probably the game would have gone quite a bit differently if our Master Yi had actually come out of the bush in his one and only appearance Top while Teemo was pushed up a lot too far early game. Well maybe. Our Bot lane did get absolutely destroyed. I basically could take off half of Teemo's health with a full rotation of abilities, but because of his blind that was all I could manage. Anyway a lesson in picking up and playing a champion that you haven't played in a while to counter someone.

The other games in the list were sad affairs were at least one lane got crushed badly and usually it was multiple lanes. Standout was Nasus getting annihilated by a Heimerdinger in one of my Sejuani games.

Oh and the other I thing learned from all this is that I should probably just take the hit in LP and dodge if someone on my team wants to queue up as LeBlanc in Silver League.

Runes: Atk Spd, Scaling Health, Scaling CDR, 1 Scaling CDR + 2 Flat CDR Quints
Masteries: 21-0-9

Summary:

This was a fun game in the sense that things went by the numbers and I helped make that happen. Gangplank lost top to Volibear but he kept Volibear busy and was able to help the team from afar with Cannon Barrage while stacking Parrrley to his pirate heart's content. Draven and Blitzcrank were having some trouble with Nami and Vayne until Gragas, Esq. rolled into town and laid down an Explosive Cask that left Vayne for Draven to clean up and cash in all the stacks he had a accumulated. That kill also netted us our first of 5 dragons.

Blitz was on point with his hooks, which allowed us to single out a target and take them out putting us in position to fight most of your fights 4v5. Always a plus.

Cho'Gath held his own against Orianna in lane despite suffering from a number of gank attempts by Elise. He roamed Bot lane to help pick up some kills and was generally helpful in contesting dragon and other objectives. But my favorite part of Cho was him snacking on Volibear after The Relentless Storm had kicked in so the bear didn’t even have a chance to fight it out with all the AoE damage he can dish out with Stormbringer.

We beat them off of every dragon to secure all five. Sieged and took all the inner turrets. Then took their Mid base turret and inhibitor after a team fight came out in our favor, then rotated to Baron and took it. Then we based to clear out or lanes and then went all mid, but rotated Top after we saw that the Top lane minions were pushing in our favor. They had to go deal with Super minions, leaving only Volibear to defend top and we were able to pin him down and kill him.

There was a bit of mad scramble at the end and Vayne was doing her damnedest to try to slow us down, but she ended up having to run out of their base with almost zero health and Draven was able to pick her up leaving only Elise up and she was not able to stop us from taking the Nexus.

Things I did well:

Effective ganks whether we pulled out a kill or not. Warding around Dragon. Also killed quite a few of their wards with Razor Sharp and my Sweeping Lens. I was also happy with my Explosive Cask placement and usage for both engage and disengage. Only pressuring Volibear a little since GP wasn’t really dying to him. I’ve noticed that I will sometimes fixate on trying to get a losing lane rolling though my efforts could be better spent elsewhere.

Things I could do better:

Even more warding. There was a spot in the game when I would have liked to have had more vision on their side of the map and I didn’t have the wards for it at the time.

I might be liking Gragas XD. I imagine if they change anything on him it will be the multi-target stun he can pull of with Body Slam that is actually pretty beast if you can set that up on say the Bot lane, though single target is more common in laning phase. Of course that will also slow down his early jungle which is where I feel like he is a keg up on Sejuani. Though the predictability of her Glacial Prison has a lot to be said for it over Explosive Cask.
