Welcome to the Bounty Hunt

Hello, my name is Wolf. I have been playing League since season 5.
And this is a guide for "The Bounty Hunter" Miss Fortune!

Miss Fortune is an incredible Adc! I love playing her, she was my very first champ that I played with and til this date I still love her sooo much, she is so fun to play.
I have about 300k mastery Points on her, but even though she surprises me every time with her INSANE damage. I climbed with her to Platinum 1 in Season 9. BIG MF FAN <3

Fortune doesn't favor fools

Ability Explanation
  • Love Tap (Passive): Miss Fortune deals bonus physical damage whenever she attacks a new target for the first time.

  • Double Up (Q): Miss Fortune fires a bullet at an enemy or minion, damaging them and a target behind them. Both strikes can also apply Love Tap. Both apply on-hit effects. The second shot always critically strikes if the first shot kills its target.

  • Strut (W): Miss Fortune passively gains Movement Speed when not attacked. This ability can be activated to grant bonus Attack Speed for a short duration. While it's on cooldown, every proc of Love Tap reduces the remaining cooldown by 2 seconds of her W.
Passive: After 5 seconds of not taking direct damage, Miss Fortune gains 25 Movement Speed. After another 5 seconds, this bonus increases to 55/65/75/85/95.
Active: Fully activates Strut's Movement Speed and grants 40/55/70/85/100% Attack Speed for 4 seconds.

  • Make It Rain (E): Miss Fortune reveals an area, raining down bullets that deal magic damage over 2 seconds and slowing enemies hit by 40/45/50/55/60% for 0.25 seconds. This slow is refreshed if enemies stay within the area.

  • BULLET TIME (R): Hahaha, the best ultimate in the game probably xD. Miss Fortune channels a barrage of bullets into a cone in front of her, dealing large amounts of damage to enemies. Each wave of Bullets can critically strike. Add your E before ulting to slow the enemies down and make it harder for them to escape!!
Mythic Items
It is the safest and best Option if you are facing a typical enemy comp. It provides MF with a much needed Dash which can save her in cauntless situations. And it can finish off enemys if they survive with a little bit of health. Best Option in my opinion!

Kraken Slayer is the risky brother of Galeforce. If you are facing a tankier enemy comp it is the better option. But be carefull in Teamfights, you are missing one escape tool.

Please just go for Eclipse if you play Dark Harvest.
Items
The Collector is probably the most important item on our beloved Miss Fortune. It helps her in so many ways, but the coolest thing is that it helps you to finish off Enemies with your R. JUST build it! Trust me it is such a great item!

If you build Infinity Edge as your 3rd item you will have 60% crit and you will deal 35% more damage on crit, which is obviously great. Nothing more to say, just buy it. Adding more Crit % will further improve your damage.

More movement speed on MF = better kiting. 20% Crit is good but in combination with Infinity Edge and The Collector it´s great. And adding some attackspeed and Attackrange is godlike on Mf. Also it scales well with her W Strut active.

A little bit of survivability + the passive of Black Cleaver is great in combination with your Ult because you lower their Armor with every wave. I recommend you to build it if the enemy Team stacks a lot of armor!

Damaging abilities and spells slow affected units by 30% for 1 second. WHich is totally great in combination with your E Make it Rain and ofc your R Bullet Time because you will be able to deal more damage if they stay in your ability for a longer period of time. And the Armor-Penetration is great!

Guardian Angel is an extremly good item on Mf. It helps you to survive in Teamfights, especially if you use your R Bullet Time a little bit more risky and get killed. An Adc which is alive is a good Adc!

Lethality options:
Youmuu's Ghostblade gives Miss Fortune even more movement speed, which is great for her kiting potential. Also lethality makes Mf so powerful.

Grants a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability. This is obviously great on a squishy Adc. Nothing more to add.

It is very hard to tell you when you should buy Axiom Arc . The idea that you refund 25% of your R CD is great and all. but in some games you really dont want/need it. It is up to you to decide if you want to build it or not.
Key-Stones
Dark Harvest Dark Harvest is still pretty strong. BUT currently I suggest you to play with PTA instead.
Dark Harvest helps so much to finish off an enemy with your Ult. And it helps Mf in her "Late Game" So take it if you think that you will carry the game. And on top of that it is so much fun to watch how people just explode in the late game when you ult them.

Lethal Tempo is currently the "GO-To" Rune of the Pros who play her in Worlds. YOU have to build Kraken for this to work. Otherwise you do not have any damage from this what so ever. The trick why this is so good is cuz of your "W" which gives you a really big ammount of Attackspeed and with Lethal Tempo you can exceed the Limit of 2.50 and do MASSIVE damage with Kraken!

Press the Attack PTA is literally the go-to-Rune in nearly every matchup. Nothing more to say to it. Just the safest route.
Secondary Runes (Precision)
Triumph and Coup de Grace are pretty much mustpicks if you go Press the Attack as your Rune. It provides more Gold for each kill, which will make you snowball a little bit more than usual. On top of that it heals you whenever you kill an enemy, which will probably save your life in lane and in a teamfight later on.

Legend: Alacrity This combined with your active part of your W Strut will give you a lot of attack speed which will help you to put out even more damage during fights or trades.

Presence of Mind Takedowns refund 15% of your missing Mana and just poking increases your mana regen. Both of these factors are great for poking and therefor this rune is simply great.

Coup de Grace This and Triumph are pretty much mustpicks if you go Precision as your runepage. It just helps you to finish enemys off with your Ultimate. You deal 8% more damage to champions who have less than 40% health.
Secondary Runes (Domination)
Cheap Shot This is pretty much a mustpick if you go Domination as your runepage. Miss Fortunes E Make it Rain slows the enemy and when MF autoattacks them or Ults the slowed enemy, cheap shot will deal a little bit of an additional true damage to the target.

Eyeball Collection This is just for a little bit of additional damage, nothing more.

Relentless Hunter This will give you even more movement speed, take it if you think your going to roam a lot or if you think you have to back a lot during the laning phase.

Ultimate Hunter If you think you are going to teamfight a lot then chose Ultimate Hunter, it provides Ult CDR which is really good if you think of the damage you can put out during your Ult.

Treasure Hunter This is your go to rune if you think you will be able to carry the game. You get so much GOLD out of it, its pretty insane.
Secondary Runes (Sorcery)
Nullifying Orb You want to chose this rune when you are facing a heavy AP team or an Ap-Assasin, it will give you a shield which will probably save you.

Celerity This combined with your passive movement speed of MFs W Strut will give you a little bit of additionally movement speed, which will help you to get to your destination sooner. And it helps you to position yourself better in a teamfight later on.

Gathering Storm This is pretty much a mustpick if you go sorcery as your runepage. It helps MF to scale a little bit better into the late game which is obviously great.
Team Fight
As Miss Fortune it is very important to set off a good ult. It´s the make or break ability of a Teamfight, with a good ultimate you can easily carry whole Teamfights and get pentas, you can even steal Barons and Drakes very easily with it.

But remember you can´t move while you are Ulting, so your Team must cover you or else you are an easy target. If you see that your Ult is placed badly , just interrupt it, trust me I know what i am talking about :´)

By taking Galeforce you become just a litttttllleee bit safer if you miss time your ult.

If you are trying to steal an objective use your E Make it Rain first. It gives you the necessary vision you need to perfectly time your ult to steal your objective.
Miss Fortunes Biography
Beauty and danger: There are few who can match Miss Fortune in either. One of Bilgewater's most infamous bounty hunters, she built her legend upon a swathe of bullet-riddled corpses and captured ne’er-do-wells. The booming echoes of her twin pistols in the port city’s reeking wharfs and scavenger shanties are sure signs of another warrant from the Bounty Board being settled.

Like most who rise to notoriety in the twisting, salt-encrusted labyrinth of Bilgewater, Miss Fortune has no shortage of blood on her hands. Yet, it was not always this way, for she was once known as Sarah, the beloved daughter of a renowned gun-dame who lived peacefully at her isolated island workshop. Young Sarah helped her mother in the forge, filing wheel locks, calibrating trigger pulls, or casting custom pistol shot. Her mother’s skill in crafting firearms was legendary, and her bespoke handguns were to be found in the collections of many a wealthy noble. But ofttimes, they were desired by those with more meager means and darker hearts.

One who desired such a weapon was an up-and-coming reaver of Bilgewater called Gangplank. ****sure and certain of his power, he demanded Sarah’s mother fashion a pair of pistols the likes of which no other man possessed. A reluctant deal was struck, and a year later to the day, Gangplank returned for his weapons. He had donned a red scarf face-mask and had no intention of paying for the guns – he was there to take them by force.

The pistols Sarah’s mother had crafted were masterpieces, twin hand cannons of pinpoint lethality and exquisite beauty. Too fine for the likes of him, declared Sarah’s mother, seeing the brutish pirate that Gangplank had become. Enraged, Gangplank seized the pistols and gunned her down with her own creations before turning them on her husband and Sarah herself. Then, for spite’s sake, he set the workshop ablaze and smashed both pistols on the ground, declaring that if they were too good for the likes of him, then no one would ever bear a weapon with her mark upon them. By killing her and destroying her weapons, her legacy would be wiped from living memory.

Sarah awoke to agony, straw-colored hair stained red with her mother’s blood and bullets lodged on either side of her heart. She crawled from the burning ruins of her home with the broken remains of the two pistols clutched to her bleeding chest. Her body healed, but a part of her mind remained trapped in her mother’s burning workshop, and no amount of soap could wash the vivid red from Sarah’s hair – or at least, so the story is told. Waking nightmares and night terrors would forever torment her, but Sarah endured them with an all-consuming obsession with vengeance. She rebuilt her mother’s pistols and learned all she could of the red-masked reaver during his rise to power, preparing for the day when she would be ready to slay him.

Taking ship to Bilgewater, Sarah killed her first man within minutes of setting foot on the crooked timbers of the quayside, a drunken pirate with a gallon of Myron’s Dark in his gut and a bounty on his head. Sarah shot him in his stupor and dragged his corpse to the Bounty Board, before tearing off a dozen more warrants.

Within a week, every one of them was settled, and those criminals who’d had the misfortune to be hunted by Sarah were either dead or in chains. She quickly earned a fearsome reputation in the taverns and gambling dens of Bilgewater, becoming Miss Fortune to inspire fear in those she hunted and to mask her true intent with flamboyant exploits. Gangplank would never see her coming; she would be just another bounty hunter among many in the crowded streets of Bilgewater.

In the years that followed, tales of Miss Fortune spread far and wide, each more fanciful than the last. She captured the Syren from a captain who learned the hard way what it meant to slip a hand where it wasn’t wanted, drowned the master of the Silk-Knife Corsairs in a barrel of her own rum, and dragged the insane Doxy-Ripper from his lair in the belly of a half-dismembered leviathan in the slaughter docks.

Gangplank was still too powerful to confront openly, so Miss Fortune spent the years wisely, surrounding herself with a small but loyal cadre of allies and lovers she would eventually use to lay her demons to rest. But just killing Gangplank would never be enough for Miss Fortune. Only his abject humiliation and the burning to ash of all he cared for would satisfy the bloody-haired bounty hunter.

And that day has come at last.

Miss Fortune has risked everything to make her opening move against Gangplank. Plots within plots have seen the Dead Pool blown to flaming wreckage at the quayside and the
self-professed King of Bilgewater overthrown. Best of all, everyone in Bilgewater saw him fall.

Now, with Gangplank deposed, every reaver captain and ganglord in the port city is vying to take his position.

The battle for Bilgewater has begun.
