Introduction
Hi Everyone!
Im Devz (Deviaz in game on the NA server) and this is my Fiora Guide. This is my first guide so it might not be that very detailed. Any kind of feedback is more than welcome!
Fiora is our latest addition to the League and in my opinion she is also the most fun champion. She doesn't only look good but her skills are also really nice.
Please note that this is just the way I like to play Fiora. I play in a standard team with 4 amazing people, which makes this build perfectly suitable in my team. If you do not have such an amazing team as mine... you will probably need to change my build a bit. I shall discuss other builds in this guide as well.
Thank you for reading my Guide and special thanks to jhoijhoi.
Credits to jhoijhoi for the template, which you can find here.
Runes
- Greater Quintessence of Desolation:
Armor penatration is always nice. Using 3 Greater Quintessence of Desolation means you have a head start on your damage.
- Greater Mark of Desolation:
Even more armor penatration!
- Greater Seal of Defense:
I like to use Greater Seals of Defense for the armor. I like flat armor but in the long run these give you almost twice as much armor.
-
:
Magic resist, speaks for itself. I use these pretty much the same reason as why I use Greater Seals of Defense but now for magic resist.
[Flash]: I always use flash. Flash is a great way to get out of a fight when needed. |
space |
[Ignite]: Most of the time I do not need to ignite my enemies because Fiora's attack speed can kill them fast enough. However, when they do manage to run out of range or you run out of mana you really wish you had ignite. |
space |
[Smite]: For jungling. I will explain how to jungle with Fiora later in this guide. |
Duelist(Passive): Fiora's passive is health regeneration. She will regenerate (7+1 per level) health over 6 seconds each time she deals physical damage. This might not seem that much but health regeneration is never a bad thing.
Lunge: Lunge will make Fiora dash towards an enemy. This enemy can be a minion, monster or enemy champion. She can use this skill twice in a row before it goes into cooldown. I like to start with this skill so I can dash towards my enemy when they're on low health to pick up the kill, this often means I get the first kill.
- Lunge is a great way to dash towards an enemy but also a great way to get away. I often use lunge to dash towards the enemy champion under a turret for the kill, I use my second lunge to dash towards an enemy minion that is a little bit furter away from the turret.
Riposte: Riposte gives you extra attack damage. It also avoids an enemy attack and reflects a bit of magic damage back to the enemy.
- Using this ability when you're on low health might keep you from dying.
- Using Riposte at the right time can also mean that you block another ultimate and thus quite a lot of damage.
Burst of Speed: Burst of Speed is doing exactly what the name implies. It's giving speed! Lots of it. Burst of Speed will give Fiora 120% (when maxed) attack speed. Every basic attack or Lunge she does will also boost her movement speed up to 15% (when maxed). The speed will last for 3 seconds.
- When a champion is trying to get away this ability usually means you can catch up with them and attack fast enough to still get the kill.
- Above is how you can move towards an enemy but using this skill to get away from them works just as well.
Blade Waltz: Fiora's ultimate is Blade Waltz. She will dash around enemy champions for 5 times and dealing damage to them. During this ability she is untargetable and this skill works for one enemy champion but can also deal damage to multiple champions.
- Using Fiora's Blade Waltz is a great way to kill more than one champion when they're on low health.
- When I am on low health I might try to use my ultimate to kill them before I die. Being untargetable while using the ability saved my life quite a few times.
Item Sequence
-
:
Fiora is quite weak when it comes down to CC, therefore I get Mercury's Treads. If you are fighting champions who do not have any CC you might want to swap these for Berserker's Greaves for a little extra attack speed
-
:
Damage and Life Steal, something that really comes in handy for Fiora. This is one of the first items I get so I can farm the minions and max it. If you keep dying you might want to leave this out and get flat attack damage.
-
:
I see a lot of people going for Frozen Mallet and that will do as well. However, in my team I do not need to slow but I do dive into towers or tank those quite a bit. For that reason I really love the extra health that Warmog's Armor is giving me.
-
:
Fiora already has an attack speed bonus but the more attack speed, the better for me. Plus, the extra attack damage and armor does not hurt.
-
:
With Warmog's Armor you have quite a lot of HP. When that is maxed I end up with 66 extra attack damage! Plus, this gives your armor so it really works out well. You can also get a Phantom Dancer but after going for Atna's Impaler and saw the extra damage I am willing to give up the speed.
-
:
For my last item I usually go for an Infinity Edge, but you can also chose for cooldown reduction items. Fiora's ultimate has quite a long cooldown, so you might want to try Youmuu's Ghostblade or Zeke's Herald If your enemy is stacking up on armor you might want to get Black Cleaver or Last Whisper.
Note that this is my build I prefer using in my standard team. Without a team like mine you probably have to change this build. I shall discuss other builds in another chapter.
Runes
- I do not want to change my runes, simply because I can't afford other runes but also because I like my runes I always use for Fiora and she can jungle just fine without special runes for jungling.
[Flash]: I always use flash. Flash is a great way to get out of a fight when needed. |
space |
[Smite]: You want to use smite on the monsters to make jungling a lot easier. Without this jungling is a lot more difficult. |
-
2 Bonus damage to minions and monsters. Doesn't sound like a lot but all the little things count. -
2 Damage reduction from minions and monsters. Again, this may not seem like a lot but it does work and we want the Bladed Armor. -
Returns 6 damage against minions and monster attacks.
These are real jungle masteries and they may seem a bit useless but they do help out a lot.
I have seen others starting with Fiora's Riposte and I am sure that that will work out as well. However, I prefer getting her Burst of Speed first. After getting that I am going for Riposte. More speed and after that I will get Lunge. This seems to work out pretty well for me. It means I can take out the monsters a bit faster and when I am done jungling I get my Lunge to gank bottom. After that... well it depends on your preferences.

This is my jungle route round 1. A jungler is busy jungling but it is also very important that you help out your lanes. After this first route I gank and usually that is very succesful, leaving me with more money and therefore I can get Wriggle's Lantern right away. I also get another ward so I can ward the rivers. My second jungle route is often just where I please to go.
Ancient Golem
Initial Spawn: 1:55 | Respawn time: 5 minutes
- I always start with the Blue Buff Golem. You can do this without a leash but with a leash it is so much easier and you will have enough health left to gank bottom when you have finished your first jungle round. You should use a Health Potion when you get to 75% of your health. If you also use Smite and keep using Burst of Speed when it is up, you will easily kill the Golem. You will level up after killing the little monsters next to this Golem as well. Get Riposte.
- After killing the Blue Buff Golem you should move to the Wolves. Killing these is quite easy to do since you have your Burst of Speed and Riposte. Keep in mind that Riposte is only activated for 1.5 seconds, which means you have to use it right before an attack starts and now right after. You might want to use another Health Potion, this will restore quite an amount of health.
- Moving on! You should now go to the Wraiths and kill those. These are easy to kill as well. You should use another Health Potion so you have enough health to take down the next monster.
The Lizard Elder will grant you the Blessing of the Lizard Elder. This 'red' buff will slow enemies and deals true damage every second for 3 seconds.
- The Red Buff Lizard is a bit harder to kill so you will have to use your skills, Lunge and Riposte as soon as they are up. Don't forget Smite around 50% of the Lizard's health.
- You are almost at the end of your first jungle round. You can use another Health Potion and finish these two guys. After killing these you might want to use another Health Potion and gank the bottom lane. After your gank you might want to recall.
The Dragon
Initial Spawn: 2:30 | Respawn Time: 6 minutes
The Dragon is a very strong monster and the second most important monster in Summoner's Rift. Killing the Dragon will give every champion in your team 190 gold and 25 extra gold for the killer.
|
space |
Baron Nashor
Initial Spawn: 15:00 | Respawn Time: 7 minutes
Killing Baron Nashor will grant all the living champions on the team the Exalted with Baron Nashor buff. This buff will boost your attack damage and attack power and also your health and mana regenaration. Not only does it give an amazing buff, it will also give every teammate 300 gold!

You do not start with the same items as you do when you are not jungling. To make sure you will survive the jungle you will start with Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potion's. I prefer going for these items instead of Vampiric Scepter because with those items and a decent leash I am sure that I am able to gank bottom right away.
Item Sequence
With these items you will last your first jungle round. After the gank at bottom and the money from the monsters you should be able to get your next item: Wriggle's Lantern. Try to get Boots and a few sight ward's as well to protect yourself but also your lanes. You can go for a pair of boots such as Berserker's Greaves, which will give you more attack speed, but I still prefer mercury's threads.
Item Sequence
After getting this I am going for damage so I will get a B. F. Sword. I am pretty much just following my previous build now. Of course it does depend on the situation so most likely there will be a few changes in this build. I will switch my Wriggle's Lantern for an Atma's Impaler for my fifth item.
Item Sequence
I already mentioned that I would discuss more builds so here we are.
My usual build works really nice in a standard team where we all have our special roles. However, I tried this with random people as well and... if they are not sticking to their roles you might have a problem with my first build.

Magic resist and tenacity, Fiora will definitely need mercury's threads against magic and CC.
-
:
Damage and Life Steal, something that really comes in handy for Fiora. No matter who you are fighting against Bloodthirster is a must have item, unless you keep dying... You don't want to keep charging the stacks over and over again.
-
:
Warmog's Armor in combination with Atma's Impaler give you extra attack damage. Warmog's will also give you extra defense > health and Atma's will give you extra defense > armor.
-
:
Against magic you will need to get magic resist. Wit's End will give you your magic resist and some extra speed.
-
:
See Warmog's Armor for my reason.
-
:
This will give you armor and magic resist, a great combo. Also, if you charge in you might survive because of your Warmog's Armor but if you manage to die you can get up with GA's passive and pick up the kill.
