Cho'Gath Passive Ability
introduction
I like to play all sort of heroes in the jungle and I wanted to do this Cho'Gath guide because it is a hero that we see not enough in the jungle considering his ganking potential and its ability to secure objectives.
Even with a full tank build your Cho'Gath will be able to do massive damages due to his durability and scaling damages from Feast and Vorpal Spikes.
Please comment your experience using this build.
(Passive)
Every time you kill a unit this give you HP and Mana. This is more effective for lane Cho'Gath because it helps him stay longer in lane. It will still help you surviving through cleaning your jungle and teamfight.
(Q)
After 1 second, knock up all enemy in targeted zone, dealing magic damages. This is your main skillshot, you will have to guess where the enemy will be but the zone is large and if he doesn't have high MS you can catch easily. This is both offensively and defensively very effective.
(W)
Silent and do damages in a cone zone in front of you. Good spell but need to close from your target, use it after bumping them with Rupture. If you are well placed you can silent the whole team.
(E)
Your 3 next attacks will do bonus damages + bonus damages based on their max health to all enemy in a zone behind your target, this gives bonus attack range for the 3 attacks.
Every Feast's stack add 0,5% at max health bonus damages.
This will do massives damages late game and slow a lot, you can max it first instead of Rupture.
(R)
Deal true damages to a single target, scales with bonus health and AP.
If you kill the target with this ability, it grants you a stack that increase permanently your max health. At level 16 you can deal about 1k true damages and with Gargoyle Stoneplate you can literary one shot ADCs. Early, farm this on monsters until you get 6 stacks on monsters (you can't get more), then make sure you kill every Drake with this and try to kill a lot of champ.
When you gank the combo is :
( ) + If the lane you are ganking don't need/can't take the kill.

Tank of the team :
Aftershock : You will engage most fight with Rupture and this gives you more MR and Armour during engage. This also provide good AOE damages.
Font of life : This will help your teammates survive all along the game, this is especially effective with you because of your incredible HP pool and that both Rupture and Vorpal Spikes impaires movement.
Conditioning : Gives some MR and Armour always appreciable as a tank + you won't really need more before 10 minutes.
Overgrowth : boring %hp, every option in this pool are ok.
The ultimate hat : Your ultimate Feast is one of the opiest in the game, you will have to spam it as much as you can to get more of these precious Feast stacks. This can reduce cooldown to 40s.
Celerity : You will need a lot of movement speed to chase weak prey trying to get out of range of your Feast, coming faster on a lane when you gank so enemy can't back before you Rupture them and to come faster every time an ally need help. It also fill your lack of escape. This runes synergize with MS and gives you some AP. Transcendence and Gathering Storm are also option.

Carry with Cho'gath jungle :
Grasp Of The Undying : Damages and heal based on %hp perfect for a good gank.

Or
Bone Plating : If you're selfish.
Second Wind : Heal based on missing HP help staying alive when you are low.
Revitalize : Synergize with heals from previous Runes and Carnivore.

Ranged slow you need to gank, little true damages, still useful.
More bonus HP (more Feast damages and AOE burn damages that help you to clean jungle, killing minions, grants some Carnivore in fight, do a lot of damages considering you survivability.
Health, MR, Mana, Mana regen, CDR, Magic damages. You can't skip this item if you don't want to be oom before you die. The aura will help all your AP mates.
Good against AD more MS, helps you join every fight faster and engage if the enemy team has no slow. Remember you keep the bonus speed until you auto attack.
More MR and Armour, active it will increase your health Feast's damages (Active do not reduce true damage outcome). Even more effective in teamfight.
Main boot choice for MR and CC reduction.
Option against auto attack AD.
If you are ahead enough not to need more tankyness.
Against sustained or high regen like Dr. Mundo + AS slow when you are hit.
AS slow even if you're not focused in teamfight and a lot armour.
Increase all healing you receive, the HP regen and MR it grants helps surviving.
Nice spell shield (not really useful considering your tankyness), MR and AP.
MS and slow to chase or initiate.
Insane regen + HP.
More slow + More HP.
You are a jungler and you are not Warwick.
Almost every champ go everytime Flash and they are right because it is the best engage and escape summoner's spell, but you are Cho'Gath and you can survive several seconds with every enemy focusing you, wich is enough for ghost to grant you high MS. This summ has only 3 min cooldown and if you use it at the right time it will helps a lot to gank.
Pros :
Cons :
- A lot of HP
- Infinite grow up
- A lot of useful spells
- Insane true damages
- Can easily finish/steal objectives with Feast
- Good ganker
- Easy to play
Cons :
- Weak against HP based attacks
- No real escape mechanism
- Weak against very mobile champions
- Not good at soloing drakes
Early :
Start at blue, you will need some help, try to keep your smite to kill strong monster, raptors and wolves won't be a problem to you. After your first back if everything is fine you have Stalker's Blade and Boots, this is enough for you to gank, pick the lane the less pushed and go, if someone need help go too.
Before you get Feast try to let the kill for landed. After 6 take the kill with Feast everytime except if the laner has level gap.
You can get 6 stacks of Feast with monsters and minions, try to get them ASAP, everytime you R is back, eat a minion or monster.
Mid/late game :
If the enemy team split just go hunt the weakest and get more stacks.
If they group wait until all of you 5 are ready and engage, when the fight start your main objective is to Rupture a lot of enemy including their main carry and follow with Feral Scream, Vorpal Spikes and Smite. Then Feast him. If you are still alive go out and spam Rupture, if you are not you still have one more stack and their main carry is dead.
Try to make as many drakes as possible, they grants you a stack just like champions.
You can also contest drakes or Baron because Feast deals more damages than Smite.

Most useful stats :
- CDR
- MS
- MR and Armour
- Health if you can't stack your ult
- Gank enemy that start to get kills or out farm your team
- Drakes and Herald
- Warding your jungle to prevent early death
- At level 16 if you have some stacks it can deal about 1000 true damage
- Be careful to Barrier, Heal and Undying Rage (I am not sure about Guardian Angel and Chronoshift) because they can make you waste an ult.
