I will start saying that this champ is:
PRO:
-Fun to play
-Outplay potential
-Easy to farm
-A tower shredder
-An assassin stomper
-A splitpusher more than decent
-900 Gold of powerspyke
-AVIATOR IRELIA!
CON:
-Extremely mechanic champ
-Need more than 300 games to understand how it works
-If stomped is useless
-Not so uselful on teamfight
-Miss a Q cancel can be deadly for you in some case
-Easy for enemy to punish because every q is a Mini-Int
-Some skin are bad

WHAT TO DO?
MIDLANE, the snowballer lane.
Irelia mid is a fantastic pick against assassin because there's a not written rule that say: Bruiser stomp assassin (Sometimes).
SO....you are on midlane ad you want to stomp your opponent so hard that he can even remain in-game. That's good but....how?

First Blood
Here's an example on how first blood someone.
Wait for the caster wawe to be low on hp, than immediatly Q-them and then Q the opponent. This way you can easily do some big damage.
Next wawe is your level 2 so you learn the stun and repeat: $ stuck with minion and land quickly your E. If your stun is correct, Q the opponent and cast ignite on him than just q and an auto attack. Congrats! You did the first blood!

Poke your enemy with a channel wave! Haste yourself and stun your enemy for free bite and run strategy. Warning! Some champ can outplay you for this method!
