Hi,I'm Joey Rush and this is my guide for Malzahar The Void Walker.
In this guide I will explain everything,tricks,tips and so on.
After you will try this,you will be a killing machine...well,with some exceptions.
Before you rate,or comment,please,read every thing that this guide has to offer,maybe try it out too? Maybe...(please do)

Cons

Can't control the pet without Malefic Visions
Hard to aim with his spells
Hard to positionate
Channeling Nether Grasp makes him very vurnerabil

This is what I preffer,it's great for not getting owned by Galio.
I would recommend : Greater Mark of Scaling Ability Power or Greater Mark of Ability Power as well.



Ability Power is just great for Malzahar.He has a pretty big AP ratio on his spell,so great power early game,it's just a simple way to dominate your lane.
I wouldn't recommend anything else. Trust me,those are good enough,but you could buy cooldown reduction.




Mana regeneration lets you mantain your lane,harras the enemy and farm with your spells.
I would recommend : Greater Seal of Scaling Ability Power or Greater Seal of Ability Power if ofcourse,you know how to farm with your basic.




Ability power will give you some damage so you can harras your enemy and outfarm him.
I would recommend: Greater Quintessence of Scaling Ability Power , Greater Quintessence of Scaling Cooldown Reduction or Greater Quintessence of Cooldown Reduction.

This is how I usualy do.
I take Call of the Void first so I can silents my opponent so I can farm,then I take Malefic Visions and maximize it first for farming. You can't farm with it until level 7 because it can't kill a minion alone so it would pretty much stop you from farming.
In battle,your skill order should look like this: > > > > (try to use Ignite as fast as you can for the 5 AP bonus)
For players who aren't full of dexterity it should be like this:
> > (try to spell them when they aren't full of HP or try to nuke the carry)
I saw some Malzahars useing their Call of the Void in-base 3 times so when they go to the lane they would spam a voidling. I don't see the point of it,sure, voidlings are cute,and do damage,but they would only atack the minions,so destroy your farm. So avoid spamming them if youre not attacking your opponent.

Buy this if you think you will have to deal massive damage to not be killed,and to resist your lane until he recalls.
So these are you core items. I will explain why them and not the others.

This makes you much more resistent,gives you mana,so you can hold it on your lane much longer and my favourite part,when you level up, your mana and HP recharge insanely fast.

mercury treads
This is what bouth after you will get void staff. I don't know how to explain it,but it's either one or the other.This would crack open Galios magic resist with your magic penetration runes.


This is a great item for Malzahar,he's very squshy and this item gives AP and HP,and tons of each! Even better,it slows your opponents so you can much easyer hit them with Call of the Void and nuke them really hard!


Do you need explanations for this? It gives you loads of AP. 130 AP plus 30% of your total AP.Great right?


Great item. Gives you 100 AP and dat active power... Makes you invincible for 3 seconds. If you see that the enemys focus you,buy it before Rabadon's Deathcap.The enemys will auto atack anyone else leaveing you alone.After 2 seconds you can keep killing them all.


Gives 70 AP and 40% magic penetration. If they dont buy magic resist,you will almost deal true damage. Perfect for nukeing!


Sure,why not? It gives you magic resist and reduces their magic resist,pretty great item against powerfull nukers like Annie LeBlanc or Veigar.

I see this item as a Ryze only item.It gives mana,mana regeneration and AP.If my runes would uve been mana runes,then yeah,but they aren't so nah.

It gives 80 AP and 15% cooldown reduction.It's active deals magic damage to target champion equal to 25% of their current health (+4% per 100 ability power) with a minimum of 200 damage.
I have never took this because I'm too lazy to use items active powers that needs to be targeted.

Are you a hibrid? Than no.

Really,I don't see how would this item would work on Malzahar.

Again,I see this item as a Lux item only.

Is your name Teemo? Than no.

If you see that youre dominating your opponent and hes still dumb enough to try to atack,take it after Sorcerer's Shoes.

It gives tenacity but just a little bit of AP,so no,youve got your Zhonya's Hourglass for that. In case of Fiddlesticks though,buy it until team fights get on your lane.

75 AP and 12 mana regeneration,but again,too lazy to use its active.

HELL NO!

I don't like this item,it's not as the lifesteal of AD champions,this isn't rechargeing your HP fast enough so it's a waste of money.

Easy to dominate,just dodge her spells and she wont do damage.

Now she is a problem,powerfull nuker and her stupid Molten Shield keeps her away from damage,so don't try to nuke her,play defensivly and try to out farm her.

She isn't that strong,but REMEMBER!!! when you kill her,she uses Rebirth and she revives,so don't atack her too much.

He's pretty hard,but he cant hurt you if you are fast enough to dodge his abilitys.

She is piece of cake,dodge her abilitys and you wont get killed.

Beware,hes silents you,fears you,and drains the life out of you.I usualy get ready for him by aproximating where he will stand,and Call of the Void that spot.

He wont hurt you that bad,he doesin't have powerfull nukes,but if he CH-2 Electron Storm Grenades you betwen his H-28G Evolution Turrets,youre gone.

Easyest enemy ever,dodge his Lay Waste and go around his Wall of Pain and he can't do nothing.The funniest part is that you can cancel his ultimate with your Call of the Void!

Pray to be a stupid Kassadin because he is just so hard to kill...

Funny little squirl,dodge his Thundering Shuriken and he cant do much,he will just dash into you with his lighting rush and hit you with Electrical Surge which doesn't deal much damage.

Harras her as soon as you can,because she gets her ultimate aaaand you're gone!
You should take as your first item Banshee's Veil to not get that owned.

Just dodge her abilitys and she cant do ****.

When hes about to start his nukeing combo,put a Call of the Void where he is at and you will cancel his Nether Grasp,he will be confused and lose concentration.Try to hit after he puts his Malefic Visions on you.

She is annoying because of her stupid spellvamp,she will recharge her HP back to normal after every spell,so agressivity is useless.

Dodgeing with her is the number 1 priority because she doesin't have a damageing spell that can target you.So she will just send her ball around consumeing mana.

Again,dodge his abilitys and yo will be okey.

He wont stand a chance.He will build armor along with mana,so he will die before you blink.

Now thats a hard one. If he gets close enough to you,he will get his combo going,and youre scrued.Agressivity is useless because of his ultimate.

Don't let him farm,really.Not a minion.If he does get a good farm youre a goner.

Easy to kill,but if he uses his Arcane Storm and his Gravity Field before you nuke him with your combo,run,because you will die and your Nether Grasp will be canceled.

Play as agresive as you can early game,when he gets level 6,act like a cute,good little puppy and farm,run out of his way.

Again,just dodge his stupid Arcanopulse and hes dead. If you know he will be your opponent,take Ghost to out run his ultimate.

Dodge his Bouncing Bomb,thats the only threat,he doesint have any targeting spells,so just play as agressive as you can.

Keep him away aaaand he's gone!

He will just build magic resist,so agressivity is again useless.

Easy to kill,so squshy,she wont know what hit her.

Easy to dodge,harras him to out farm him.

Hahahahahahaha,ask someone to change lanes with.

You could take this if you think that your mana flows fast.

You could take this if the enemy has powerfull nukes.

This plus Malefic Visions makes a easy kill.

Gives you attack speed and AP,its a good spell,but the attack speed is useless.

It just sucks. Revive for what? Going back and getting killed again?

Plausible,if the enemy attacks you,the minion will attack him,you will nuke him and he will be vurnerabil by getting attacked by voidlings,minions and you.

Youre not a jungler,so don't you even look at it!

Great for getting the hell away.

Great for getting to your lane fast.

Never go first,you will get focused and instantly get killed,try to hit from the distance and nuke the carry.He deals the most damage so you will protect your allies.
When youre hitting an enemy tower,spam skills so a voidling will spam too. He deals tons of damage.
If LeBlanc is your enemy,better kill her first,really powerfull nukes...

Until you've got level 7,you will need to farm with your basic attack. Use your mana on the enemy so you can push him back and outfarm him. A well farmer Malzahar its a good Malzahar. 10 minions gives you gold equal to a kill. So farm as much as you can.
After level 7 you can easly farm. Just put a Malefic Visions on a minion,than go,it will go from minion to minion killing them and giveing you experients and gold.
