Why should you play Shen?

So yeah lets talk about that. Shens early game is so powerful. He is a tank yes. But his damage is insane. Shen is like a bruiser but in the same way he is a tank. He is a super Top Laner now. Also Shen gives you High Map Awareness!Improves your gameplay and your mental. Keep it calm and rank up. |
Items
This gives attack speed, AD, health, attack speed and ability haste. Also gives all Legendary Items 10 Attack Speed. Useful but not as much as Sunfire and Frostfire.
I build it when i want to enjoy while ahead.
If you don't get it u won't hit dmg. Try with not buying it, u will see the difference.
I won't recommend it.
Since it's nerfed i use it when i need a great defence for burst damages like Kha'Zix, Master Yi.
Very very good for fed ADC champs and Crit champs.
Gives MR, health and it increases the shield and HP u get!
Gives AD, Health and shield when u get low. Useful with Titanic Hydra.
Slows the enemy gives critic, attack speed. Troll build maybe but so fun to play with it.
Super overpowered item over there. Shred the tanks and life steal like crazy again. Gives magic damage to HP% try it.
Buy this in late game if u are against sm ad attack speed champs. Yasuo Jax etc.
Very good opinion gives AD and tankiness and 1 Life Point!!
Good to cover and get MS.
VERY VERY POWERFUL item. Just try this in team fights and u will see the difference. Get the Shield Bash and use it it will give %shield damage.

Combos and Trading Patterns
E + Flash
Shadow Dash + Flash is great for engaging. Create as much dummies as u can and try to hit them with creative ways. Try Shadow Dash + Flash and hit as many targets as you can. U should Shadow Dash and flash to the enemy but be careful to your Shadow Dash you can miss the flash so do the timing. Great agains Fiora if she doesn't waits a Shadow Dash + FlashExtended Trade
Twilight Assault when your opponent is between, and wait for your Twilight Assault till 3-4 seconds CD remains. And go to your opponent with Shadow Dash and hit ur 3 EMP Q's and pull your sword again and hit 3 EMP Q's again. It's extended trade. So so so so many damage.Short Trades
Grasp of the Undying and Shield Bash. Use as many times as you can. When your graps comes search for a graps trade and get off. When the enemy is low, try extended trades.Tower Crush
Q + FLASH
Flash too late blade will stay in ur position while u flash away. So try it in practice mod. When mastered, this technique will prove valuable in every game you play as Shen.Bush Trap

Spirit's Refuge on themselves as if they were playing Jax and using his Counter Strike. It's okay in laning phase but you should learn to cover your teammates with your Spirit's Refuge when you pull your Twilight Assault and open your if blade passes through any allie it will block the incoming damage till it passes. So watch your teammates and cover them. It can block basick attacks while moving.Awareness
