Please note that this champaion is not for everyone. He's skill set doesn't go well for brusser/fighter, in the current patch he is best sutted for Assassin, and even as an assassin he is of the lowes tier
You can check my History with this champ here
As a champion that is very elusive with a quickly timed clone/dash you want to play the starting items with a couple of variations.
-
Corruption potion if you are going to strugle in lane to get good trades on enemy champions that can just heal right back up or out sustain you in general.
Dorans Blade if you already know your output and will not be push under your turret to farm.
Dorans Shield if you are going to get poked and you will not be able to create an even trade from that poke.
Long sword and 3 potions if you think you can get first blood confidently. ( you can also choose 1 long sword and 1 rejuvenation bead if you want to rush Tiamat)
Tiamat is a must as it has everything Wukong struggles with to fight/farm in lane.
-
AoE for easy farming
Regeneration for a little sustain in case trades don't go your way (Ej: ganks, camping, personal mistakes)
Activation for an additional attack that can lead to several benefits when resetting your AA (Ej: E>AA>Q>Tiamat Activation/ Q>E>Tiamat Activation>AA)
-
+10 Lethality
After killing an enemy, your next damaging spell will deal 40 bonus physical damage to all enemies it hits
As your Essential Items can change depending on the lane I will focus on the biggest game changer in Wukong:
-
Your Armor reduction from Q+extra range needs to be abused as much as possible to both help yourself do almost near true damage to very squishy enemies, and help your backline take down the front line faster.
