THIS GUIDE ISNT A GUIDE - DONT READ XD

Well, I Archived this Guide because it wasnt complete when I published it, so now everyone will look at it as a incomplete build.

Plus, I am focusing on making my first finished guide (Ahri), and I have to do 1 thing at the time.

But dont worry! there is going to be another version for this build, just wait :D

Disclamer

Hey guys!
I made this disclaimer because I wanted you to know that Im putting "on-hold" my Yasuo and my Garen guide, which means I wont update them untill further notice. Im doing this so I can improve my two guides, and to make two more guides to champs I main (Kassadin and Ahri). Yes, Garen is my fav pick for top and yes, Yasuo is ONE of my fav picks for mid, but I play Kassadin and Ahri WAY more.

I hope you understand, actually these last days Ive improved a lot with Ahri and since the first time I played him, I fell in love with Kassadin and played him as a beast since, so I wanted to make a guide fort these two. Another reason was that imo, Ahri has only 1 awesome guide (POPST-AHRI is BEST Ahri! - AP AHRI; Pre-season 4) and that Kassadin has only 3 fresh guides, wich only two of them deserve mention. Even tho those are good guides, I want to show my way of playing/building him.

Thanks! :)

Before starting

First of all, thanks for taking the time to see my guide :D

Now, I have something to ask you before we start.
Don't downvote just because you don't like the build. It's MY way of playing Yasuo. If you are planing to do it, please think first and leave a comment with your oppinion. I will take comments about my guide even if it says that my guide is bad, as long as you keep it respectuf (also a tip on how to improve it would be great)

Thanks :D

Introduction

Welcome to my second League of Legends guide! I currently have a guide (not finished, published way too early :P) for Garen, if you want to check it out, you can see it here.

So now, it's time to show you my way of playing Yasuo. I hope this guide helps you mastering this incredible champion. Keep in mind, this is a kind of assasin Yasuo, with a little bit of fighter. I don't like playing him tank, but it may be viable

Let's dive into Summoner's Rift!

Lore

Who is Yasuo?

Yasuo is a man of resolve, an agile swordsman who wields the wind itself to cut down his foes. But this once proud warrior has been disgraced by a false accusation and forced into a desperate fight for survival. With the world turned against him, he will do everything in his power to bring the guilty to justice and restore his honor.

Once a brilliant pupil at a renowned Ionian sword school, Yasuo was the only student in a generation to master the legendary wind technique. Many believed he was destined to become a great hero. However, his fate was changed forever when Noxus invaded. Yasuo was charged with guarding an Ionian Elder, but, foolishly believing his blade alone could make the difference, left his post to join the fray. By the time he returned, the Elder had been slain.

Disgraced, Yasuo willingly turned himself in, prepared to pay for his failure with his life. He was shocked, however, to find himself accused not just of dereliction, but of the murder itself. Though confused and racked with guilt, he knew the assassin would go unpunished if he did not act. Yasuo raised his sword against the school and fought his way free, knowing his treason would turn all of Ionia against him. Now truly alone for the first time in his life, he set out to find the Elder's real killer.

Yasuo spent the next several years wandering the land, seeking any clue that might lead him to the murderer. All the while, he was relentlessly hunted by his former allies, continually forced to fight or die. His mission drove him ever forward, until he was tracked down by the one foe he dreaded most – his own brother, Yone.

Bound by a common code of honor, the two warriors bowed and drew their swords. Silently they circled one another under the moonlight. When they finally charged forward, Yone was no match for Yasuo; with a single flash of steel he cut his brother down. Yasuo dropped his weapon and rushed to Yone's side.

Overcome with emotion, he demanded to know how his own kin could think him guilty. Yone spoke: β€œThe Elder was killed by a wind technique. Who else could it be?” Understanding swept over Yasuo as he suddenly realized why he had been accused. He professed his innocence once more and begged his brother's forgiveness. Tears streamed down Yasuo's face as his brother passed in his arms.

Yasuo buried Yone under the rising sun, but could take no time to mourn. Others would be after him before long. His brother's revelation had given Yasuo newfound purpose; he now had the clue that would lead to the true killer. Swearing an oath, he gathered his belongings and, with one last look at Yone's grave, set out with the wind at his back.

The story of a sword is inked in blood.

Yasuo Champion Spotlight

I just gotta say GJ to Riot, their new Champion Spotlights are really good, as they focus more in gameplay, mechanics and combos rather than in runes or masteries, wich I find good.

Pros / Cons

Pros

+ CC with Q and Ult
+ Extreme Scaling (1.5 on ultimate, 1 on AD, and high base damage on E when
+ Cooldowns? What is that?
+ Basicly deals true damage with ulti + last whisper
+ Great synergy with champions like Janna
+ Beast late game
+ Burst and consistent Damage
+ Blocks all projectiles
Yasuo is a BEAST. He scales extremly well with all his abilities (with w as a exeption, as it deals no damage :P) His ultimate, Last Breath, is isanely powerful, as his armor penetration + last whisper, as I said, is basicly true damage. He deals consistent damage because of his low cooldowns he has no cooldowns, and also has a great burst. His w is one of the best utility spells, if not the best, when used properly.

Cons

- Squishy
- Skill based
- Not the best laner
- Weak early
Yasuo is kind of squishy for his role, because after assasinating the carry you STAY in the teamfight, as your armor pen and low cd plus your w let you do that, however, you are in a possition of danger if you dont know how to position. He is not the best laner and has a weak esarly, but his late game rewards it.

Runes

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Dark Harvest
Phase Rush

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Gives Yasuo some extra AD, wich is great because his base AD is low, specially when starting the game.

Greater Mark of Critical Chance: These are the reason why I only pick two crit chance items on Yasuo. His OP passive makes his 50% crit chance with this runes + Shiv + IE in a 100% crit chance, aka a critical stricke in each attack (otherwise it would be 90%, on Yasuo this runes ad 10%) We get 6 because the rest would be unnecesary.

Greater Mark of Attack Damage: Get three of these runes because some extra AD is always great. Only three because Crit Chance ones are better (for me, to get 100% crit chance)

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: Powerful in every champion. They are cheap and offer MR for those AP champs against you.

Greater Seal of Armor: As MR ones but against AD.
