Proper troll'gath build is 6 warmog's. **** boots, you just need more health.
Thanks to Jsta for the sig image.
Warmog's Armor on Cho?
WOW... That's like... before the Warmog rework when people still did that, right? lolololol
Ancient newbie times, before Rupture got the cast-time buff and Cho was still considered a bad pick.

AP Cho's AoE damage is plain wow. Lol.
Anyways, Cho is a good tank because he can constantly dirupt enemies with CC WHILE ALSO being a MAJOR threat with his damage output from his abilities.
RoA isn't core on cho.
I don't run it.
HotshotGG doesn't run it either.
It's definitely decent on him, but I prefer other items.
i was pretty sure the fact that he deals major damage and has an ult kinda designed to ks makes him more of an off-tank, but good points.

Oh right. Now I remember. DuffTime has some ****ed up opinion that ROA is always worse than Warmog, even on champs like Singed and Cho.
You're taking my words out of context and I don't appreciate it. I also don't appreciate the way you're wording your sentences.
Warmogg's is better on tanks than RoA.
RoA is fine for offtanky casters. I like it on Karthus and Swain.

What are you trying to accomplish with Cho, are you trying to tank, or are you trying to be a caster?
Are you taking RoA for the damage and survivability combo? Because if you are, there's better items.
HP, better items, damage, better items, there's just better items to be built on Cho no matter how you look at it.

@DuffTime:
When playing Cho'Gath, you're suppose to be trying to be both.
He's a tank AND a caster - You do best when you optmize for both and lean in towards the main role you want.
Early game, he benefits more from caster-aspects, which makes rushing Rod of Ages perfect.
Late game, it's all about being a big monstrosity that can soak all the damage, so you push further to building as a tank with more defensive items like FoN.
To be a good Cho'Gath, you have to be able to put a balance on BOTH roles within each game.
Trying to stick to one path or the other leads to weaker gameplay as a whole.

But you don't want either of those items if it means not having any effective health to go along with it; Feast's health steroid isn't nearly enough, you still want at least 1 health item. Cho also needs AP to some extent, and Catalyst the Protector is just so dam good for the lane; making RoA really the perfect item to put on Cho.
Following that, high-elo Cho's typically build Wit's End (apparently it works nicely with his E) and Guardian Angel (or some other key defensive item), and you've got your super-tank, ready to roll~
Can't really go wrong with this build, tons of health, defenses, utility, and damage.
