[11.20] Chonccy Panda's Guide to Dunking

By PandoraPanda14
Thank you for reading my guide!

-Lane Bully
-Outplay Potential
-Good Sustain in Fights
-Built-In Armor Penetration'
-Auto-Attack Reset
-Can 1 v 5
-Good Comeback Potential
-Can Solo Carry

-Easy to Kite
-Not as Tanky like Garen
-Lvl 1 Ult sucks
-Doesn't fall off too bad but if everyone's full build he can suck
-Has Good Counters
-Missing Q/E can be very punishing
-Not the greatest at peeling
Passive - Hemorrhage

Darius aims his attacks strategically, causing his target to bleed. This effect stacks up to five times. Enemies that reach max Hemorrhage cause Darius to gain Noxian Might, greatly increasing his damage.

Darius' passive is one of the reason's why he is such a good lane bully and is amazing with Conqueror. The more you apply stacks the more damage you'll deal to opponents.
Q - Decimate

Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 Mana
Range: 425
Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5

Darius winds up and swings his axe in a wide circle. Enemies struck by the blade take more damage than those struck by the handle. Darius heals based on enemy champions hit by the blade.

After a short delay, Darius swings his axe around himself, striking enemies in its path. Enemies hit by the axe's blade take 50/80/110/140/170 (+105% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage. Enemies hit by the handle take 35% damage (does not apply Hemorrhage).
Darius heals for 15% of his missing Health per enemy champion hit by the blade (max: 45%).

If you position your Q so the rim of the spin will hit the opponent, it will do the most dmg and heal you! Very good for winning trades and sustain-poke in lane! I usually use Q to poke when the enemy goes for minions.
W - Crippling Strike

Cost: 30 Mana
Range: 145
Cooldown: 7 / 6.5 / 6 / 5.5 / 5

Darius's next attack severs a crucial artery, dealing 150 / 155 / 160 / 165 / 170% of his total attack damage as physical damage and slowing his target by 90% for 1 second.

If the target dies, the mana cost of Crippling Strike is refunded and the cooldown is halved.

Your W will slow and is an empowered auto so make sure to auto-cancel for fastest way to apply stacks.
E - Apprehend

Cost: 45 Mana
Range: 550
Cooldown: 24 / 21 / 18 / 15 / 12

Darius hones his axe, passively causing his physical damage to ignore a percentage of his target's Armor. When activated, Darius sweeps up his enemies with his axe's hook and pulls them to him.

Passive: Darius gains 15/20/25/30/35% Armor Penetration.
Active: Pulls in all enemies in front of Darius and slows them by 40% for 1 second(s).

Your E is very good for catching out enemies and for stopping their disengage or from using abilities. Use it wisely!
R - Noxian Guillotine

Cost: 100/100/0 Mana
Range: 460
Cooldown: 120 / 100 / 80

Darius leaps to an enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing true damage. This damage is increased for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target. If Noxian Guillotine is a killing blow, its cooldown is refreshed for a brief duration.

Leaps to target enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing {{ damage }} true damage. For each stack of Hemorrhage on the target, Noxian Guillotine deals an additional {{ rdamagepercentperhemostack*100 }}% damage.
Maximum Damage: {{ maximumdamage }}If Noxian Guillotine kills the target, it may be re-cast at no cost within {{ rrecastduration }} seconds. At rank 3, Noxian Guillotine unlocks - its cooldown resets entirely on kills and it no longer has a Mana cost.

Make sure you only use your ult when the enemies are very low or you have 5 stacks on the enemy because without your factors your ult can be useless. Once you kill an enemy it'll reset, so start dunking baby!

This Keystone is probably the best keystone for Dar right now against bruisers. You can win any trade and all-ins from the pure tankiness you get on him. Picking it against ranged isnt good cuz they can just kite your one cc so then you wont proc it and bringing it against tanks can be good but I would say take conqueror against them.

This Keystone is particularly good against ranged/kitey champs such as Kennen or Quinn. It lets you catch up really quick to enemies but the sorcery tree isn't the greatest. Also not the greatest keystone for beginners so I'd refrain for a bit until you are comfortable with Darius.

As Darius picking Conqueror in the Precision tree is good. Conqueror is the second best keystone for Darius as it allows him to do more true damage as like most bruisers. Your stacks can keep Conqueror up as well so you don't have to always push a wave to be keeping Conqueror up. Very good against tanks as well.

Always pick Triumph for Darius. It can increase his outplay potential with the clutch heal stacked on top of his Q. It also gives you extra gold.

I usually don't use Legend: Alacrity but it is still very helpful. It can allow you to get faster stacks.

I usually get Legend: Tenacity because it's basically a mini Mercury Treads but it works for knockups. Also since Dar's biggest counter is CC because he is immobile, it is very useful.

Coup De Grace can always be useful to take for easy dunk play's.

I usually pick Last Stand because you already gain extra A.D. from your passive and it increases outplay and clutch potential.

Demolish is good for getting easy plates and turrets while splitting. In the early game if you can push under turret and get a plating it gives you quite the gold advantage.

Conditioning could be useful if you go straight from either your Black Cleaver or Tri-Force into Sterak's Gage for extra resistance.

Take Second Wind against poke heavy champs such as Teemo, Kennen, or Gnar.

Bone Plating is usually what I take for Darius as I can survive burst and win trades easily.

Overgrowth is useful if you want to build a Tri-Force instead of a Black Cleaver.

Revitalize could be good with a Soraka or Janna and it also increases your healing from potions and your Q.

I usually take Unflinching as I fine it very easy to keep up with people when I pop ghost and I can start slaughtering the enemies with my R.

Good for catching up to dunk more people.

Good for winning trades and all-ins.

Good for scaling.

Attack Speed
Always go the attack speed as it is very useful for early stacks.

Magic Resist
Take Armor against AD teams and Magic Resist against AP.

Adaptive Force
Take Adaptive Force if you want to have that early extra damage.

Getting health can always be useful against tanks and such.
