Introduction

Hi Summoners..!!!...welcome to my Nunu guide "The Jungle -20º", to be honest with you guys, the first time I saw Nunu I asked to myself....what kind of champion is this..???...why does he look like that..???...and I said to myself too...I'll never get it because I don't like it. One day purchasing things with my RP I noticed that had almost no RP and I wanted to use them in something but there was nothing to get besides Nunu.....I said...OK...I'll get this guy and see what happen.......and now I can say that I really like this champion and I don't regret about the purchase and he is my favorite jungler so let's talk about him a bit.

Runes

Ok, this can be quite complicated with Nunu, because you can build him as a real Tank or just full AP so basically the runes I chose are AP runes with some armor for early game resistance.

Greater Seal of Armor - Those runes will help you in early, middle and late game with some resistance for basic attacks.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration - Using those runes you can be sure that your Ice Blast and your Absolute Zero will deal damage to champions with magic resist on them.
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction - This will help you to get better cooldowns during the game and will be useful in late game to cast your spells more often.
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power - Is definitely one of the best choices for the early game damage and heal, you can get Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed instead because the mobility as well.

Masteries

The regular Masteries could be 0/21/9 or 9/21/0 but I decided 2/19/9 because the 2 Offense points on Butcher that will help you to jungle faster.

The 19 points in defense are because the resistance you can get against monsters, minions with Toughskin and Bladed Armor and champion’s basic attacks and spells with Unyielding and Block ,

The 9 points in Utility are because Nunu has some early game mana issues but Meditation and Expanded Mind can help you to avoid that and some extra movement speed with Wanderer will help you to position yourself very fast to gank a lane or move faster between neutral monsters in the jungle.

You can always get more masteries in Offence if you think that will work better for you in your Jungler Role.

Items

I decide to initiate with Hunter's Machete and four Health Potions, I know that probably Nunu does not need the Health Potions to jungle but I prefer to have full HP before initiate a gank and be able to jungle without a leash also the Hunter's Machete is a great early game jungle tool.
In my first go to the shop I prefer to get some HP for tankiness with Giant's Belt, more mobility with Boots and some health amd mana regeneration with Spirit Stone.
In mid game the best 3 items I found are:
1- Rabadon's Deathcap: One of the best items for all the AP champions, provides a huge amount of AP empowering your Ice Blast and Absolute Zero damage and healing you more with your Consume
2- Spirit of the Ancient Golem: Armor, Health, Health Regeneration, Mana Regeneration, Tenacity and additional damage to neutral monsters and minion s, I think this item speaks by itself why you have to get it.
3- Lich Bane: Some of you could ask why Lich Bane...???..., and what I can say is that this item provides a lot of stats that will work excellent in an AP Jungler, good AP amount, movement speed, mana, and the Spellblade unique passive on this item is so powerful.
4- Mobility Boots: Besides the Blood Boil ability another great source of movement speed with Nunu are this boots, I'm not saying that you cannot get Sorcerer's Shoes, Ionian Boots of Lucidity or Mercury's Treads instead, all those other boots are recommended but the time you use to move between the monsters in the jungle and the lanes to gank is very important.

Late game items:
5- Rod of Ages: More health, AP and mana, definitely is a great tool too, I recommend this Item or you can get a Guardian Angel.
6- Abyssal Mask: Magic resist reduction is very important in late game because the magic resist items in the enemy team, you can substitute this item with another one like Void Staff

You can find some other items recommended by my for late game that can work good for you based on your team needs.

Skill Sequence

I recommend. Evaluate the team situation before you decide which ability you'll max first.

Some things to take in consideration are:

Does the other team have a jungler...???
If yes: Max Consume and Blood Boil first. This is to get advantage of your mobility and damage to monsters ability.
If Not: Max Ice Blast and Blood Boil first. This is because the top teammate will have two champions against him/her and you will have to visit the top more often and the Ice Blast can hurts and slow to get a kill.

Is not bad to remember to max you R Absolute Zero each time you have a chance

Spells

A Champion without Smite is not a jungler.

I saw different games with champions like Warwick, Amumu and Fiddlesticks Trying to jungle without Smite probably thinking that because their abilities to jungle they don't need it but....surprise...!!!...the enemy jungler has Smite and just took your buff away from you. So that's why I chose Smite as my first summoner spell.

The second summoner spell could be another spell that makes you feel comfortable while jungling, I decide to get Teleport to get a quick gank using the Wards Sight Ward / Vision Ward to teleport to their location but if you feel better with Flash or Ghost, those are great options too.

Creeping / Jungling

While jungling I recommend to start with Crest of the Ancient Golem Blue Buff, then move to the Rabid Wolf / Wolves then get the Ghast / Wraiths, the next one in your list should be Blessing of the Lizard Elder / Red Buff and the other little golems in your jungle.

You can do solo Dragon at level 9 and you can definitely tank the Baron Nashor .

Try to keep track of the enemy's jugler movements to get the buff from the enemy jungle as well.

Summary

Never forget to help your team, check the lanes to see if any of your teammates have a natural counter against them because if that's the case they may need an early game gank.

Remember a real OP champion is the one that has a great summoner.
Never forget to have fun.
