First, I would like to mention that this is my first guide, and if anyone has any suggestions please comment, this is something I will keep updated.

All that said, I made this guide because I love playing Lulu and would like to share my knowledge with playing her in any lane. If you think Lulu is only a support, you are wrong. I still play her primarily as a support, but I also rock solo lanes and have even played her as a jungle and adc (not reccomended, but I will eventually add those to the guide).

Pros
+ great poke
+ insane burst early and mid game
+ adds utility to team mates
+ has great crowd control for fights
+ can survive and escape with ease

Cons
- squishy late game (if not supporting)
- burst falls off late game due to low ap ratios

Greater Quints
Quint of ability power
For playing support, mid, or top, getting flat AP quints will help your harass early game.

Greater Seals
seal of scaling mana regen
Necessary for supporting, this will allow you to stay in lane longer, this also works well for a solo lane.
seal of armor
I prefer using seals of armor when playing a solo lane. Mana is more of an issue, but I prefer taking less damage.

Greater Marks

These marks are ideal for support, top, and mid. Lulu's greatest strength as a support is her strong poke, and this allows her to ignore the enemy's innate magic resist. For the same reasons, this mark is great for Lulu as top or mid.

Greater Glyphs

This helps Lulu stay strong without the game, good for top and mid, great for support.

For the same reasons I like armor for a solo lane, magic resist helps reduce damage you take while laning and later in fights.
