Hello, I am Mouad, a Platinum Darius main on the EUW server,with 350k points on the champion. I started playing on season 6, was unranked then, finished Gold 5 in season 7, and Platinum this one, looking to go even higher in the future.

Here you have a guide for Darius, a toplaner who can be very scary when played well, I hope this guide comes in handy for you.

Passive - Hemmorhage : Your passive is what makes Darius ... Darius.
Your autos and spells put a stack of hemmorhage on your opponent, making them bleed for extra damage, this is what makes Darius such a lane bully, as you can outtrade almost anyone with this, and, at full stacks (5) you get a massive AD bonus, that makes it from about 3 long swords worth of damage to 4 BF Swords.

Q - Decimate : Darius's Q helps you sustain in lane, hit multiple targets, clear waves, harass ... use this at the beginning and the end of an all in to get the upper hand, you can also hold on to it until you're fairly low to surprise your opponent with a big heal. the radius needs a getting used to in order to land the outer part every time but it's not too difficult to learn.

W - Crippling Strike : use this to reset your auto attack timer, and to keep your opponents close to you, you can also use this to safely CS as it refunds the mana cost and half the CD on a kill.

E - Apprehend : your gap closer, use this wisely, don't just throw it whenever you can. this spell helps you engage and keep enemies next to you so you dont get kited, you can also use this to cancel dashes and channels.

R - Noxian Guillotine : T H E D U N C C, true damage, which makes Darius the perfect pick VS tanks, the damage goes from about 300 at rank one to 1100 true damage at level 16 (yes 1100 true damage). don't use this at the beginning of a fight, use this as a finisher or when your opponents has 5 stacks on them and you want to hit them with some heavy damage. dont ever use this on a full HP target or fairly healthy target with no stacks, because it will tickle.

As Darius, you want to press your lane presence, you want to make the enemy laner wish they didn't forget to ban your champion. Darius wins most lanes. Your objective is to get an early kill, press your lead and not let your laner get any cs, and if he does come up to take any, he dies.

Freeze the lane most of the time next to your turret, solo kills are fairly easy to get.

when you win your lane, roam into the midlane or ward the enemy jungle or look for a kill there too, dont just stay top all of the time, get impact all over the map.


in teamfights focus one target to get your noxian might from them, then its pretty self explanatory : dunk anyone in your way. you can also dunk low HP targets then get on with the rest of their weaklings.

In the late game, you can be a peel for your carries, or a carry deleter yourself, play as how your team needs you, and push to victory.
