She is hands up for me. She totaly counters your ultimate ability by vanishing in the sky. Also gots a very good spam and burst. I wouldnt even face her.

This is my first guide and i started with fizz cuz he is a great champion to start with so please be patient and dont critisise my guide .. I would like you to give me some advises but please be patient AND ENJOY MY GUIDE people.. Thats all ... Also i suck a little at english but its K i think .. Isnt it ?? :O

Why Fish is useful ??

So Fizz is a dangerous fish assasin , fighter full of dot damage(damage over time) , cc and escaping abilities.One of the most useful and teamworking APC of his kind. Fizz is one of the best chasing assasins on league of legends he can carry his team to the win (with some minor help ofc). I am gonna explain u some tips and give u some advises so u learn how to play him for the beggining and later be able to make your own builds and fight the way you like.Also he is the best dude because he can play in 3 positions : MID , TOP and JUNGLE.

FIzz's Skills

Urchin Strike
Dash a set distance towards or through target dealing significant burst damage This spell has several uses. When target draws near use it to escape or stay out of range. This can be followed by Playful/Trickster as a basic combo. Used as a gap closer to land a few auto attacks and harrass or sse to dash to minions or jungle creeps to escape.

Seastone Trident
Fizz passively gets auto attacks that 'rend' people - a DoT based on missing health. Active gives auto attacks bonus magic damage Perfect mage spell because it does not need AD or ArPen to help it scale. Perfect assassin spell because helps you burst down low health targets even more easily. I use it a lot in lane for cheap easy harass.

Playful/Trickster
Fizz can use his trident as a pole-vault making him untargetable while in the air then slowing nearby enemies as the slams back down. If you double tap E he does a double jump and goes further but loses his slow. Hardest skill to master but also the most useful. Use it in a lane to dodge harass then counter with your own. This serves as your main burst. It is also great for chasing and escaping but remember - it only works on small walls.

Chum the Waters
Throws a fish that sticks to its target and slows them. A shark will then come eat the fish and knock up any nearby enemies dealing damage as well. This spell means certain death to anyone it hits in a teamfight. Also use it to follow up on your Urchin and Trickster combo to CC/burst your opponent till your other spells come off cooldown. Take your time and make sure to land it and dont use it to run away.

- Early game he is squishy
- Gold Dependent
- Hard on mid cuz of his meele auto attacks

Here is the explanation about this items build.

You can start with my way the "OLDSCHOOL" way. is a very good starting item for Fizz . Nice mana.reg so you can farm with your abilities if you are outzonned.Also a cool amount of 15 AP and +80 HP that will help you early game.

The only bad news about is that it builts to nothing .

If your enemy uses skillshots ( like )you better start with and three so you can avoid their skillshots and heal your lost HP if the enemy burst you up.

You now have a lot of choices and its up to you to make your BUILDLANE . It depends more on your team , your enemy team and your gold.

CHOICE 1

Boots development.To learn how to develop your boots jump at the "Boots"chapter[chapter 13].

CHOICE 2

Built up the most famous Fizz item . Lich bane is maybe the most builted item on Fizz. It costs 3000 gold (800 if you built and ). Its perfect for burst your enemy cuz it offers +80 AP +his UNIQUE PASSIVE.
+250 mana and +5% movement speedare just great choice for Fizz.(Mana is very good for Fizz and movement speed is always welcome)

Not glad that they removed the addition magic resist that you gained from . Thats a pain for Fizz defence.

CHOICE 3

You can olso choose way . Very good if you need defence (gives also a normal amount of +60 AP). Best thing about is that you can stay for a big time on ur lane so you can farm.(CUZ UNIQUE PASSIVE IS SO COOL)

CHOICE 4

You can try built Catalyst the protector and so you can later built too and .

So now we got , , and the boots of your choice.

With season 3 changes and new items I HIGHLY RECOMMEND . GREAT AMOUNT +70 AP +200 HP and passives that offers you +15 Magic pene and dealling spell damage that burns enemies.

You can choose if you have a core AP enemy team.

In the end you have two more sockets and you have too built and . Its Your choice if you take deathcap or hourglasss first.

It depends on your kills-farm , your support(good healer , shields etc ) , and ofc your enemy team .

offers the biggest amount of AP but its not offensive at all . Thats why i recommend before deathcap. (Hourglass is more offense with great passive and pisses of enemy carry ad and tank.)

NOTE:

In my opinion you must never pick for first item . Even if you are feeded by the enemy team with a lot of kills i dont recommend it cuz it has zero defense. Im the type of guy that wants some defense early on.

OTHER ITEMS

1.You can built for more HP and extra 35% slow.(gives 20 AP more than )

2.I also recommend for CD RED , AP , MagicResist,Mana reg and passive.

3.You have to built FOR SURE if you havent choose for the magic pene.

4. is a very good option if you wanna go hybrid.

Runes

Something About Runes

has no big problems with his mana pool(if u learn to control his mana)... mana potions are welcomed for him and with the help of your and you ll have no problem with mana(too much mana regen)...So i think that adding mana reg runes to Fizz is not the best option.(in my opinion of course)

Some players (me too sometimes) prefer Cooldown Reduction to play their Fizz. So if you want to go for CD RED. do not hesitate SPAM IS WONDERFUL

Farming

]

A FARMER FISH: Farming is everything for .. He can easily farm with his abilities after taking . But he can be easily zoned out on mid cuz of his meele attacks.. This is one disadvantage of fizz that its hard to farm with meele attacks.And the bad story is that NEEDS THE MONEY cuz he is gold dependent.

is meele too but in a fight between them no1 knows who ll win. is tricky too and can avoid if is not on CD.

Chum the waters

can be used while your enemy is slowed or even better rooted or stunned by a friendly champion like , , , ,
can use his ultimate ability {R} for 1)bursting , 2)Chasing , 3)Escaping , 4)Taking out enemy ADC or APC fast.
COOLDOWN
ultis have 70-80 seconds CD and its a very good damage and cc. WARNING:You must never miss your ulti . Train your skillshots and you will have a better result(better burst - better chasing and escaping).

You know Fizz can use a lot of boots depends on 1)what he needs 2)what the summoners playstyle is. Here those are my 3 options (I use them all n0t the same every game )that u can choose ...

Ionian Boots of Lucidity are very useful on fizz especially for DOMINION . You can spam -chase-escape faster using your abilities for a 2nd or a 3rd time .

Sorcerer's Shoes The magic pen boots are very useful too . Magic penetration always helps with the extra damage on your abilities

Boots of Swiftness So the only reason for using the swiftness boots is because u are an asasin and its better for chasing or escaping . Can be used instead of Ghost spell cuz u really need movement speed.

BOOTS UPGRADES

]

When season 3 arrived your boots was able to upgrade with Five different ways.

Enchantment:furor
The combat boot.Every time you attack
with autoATTACK or spell u gain 12%
movement speed.(recommended)

enchantment:Distortion
Reduces CD of summoner spells
and . I recommend this
more for top players.

Enchantment:alacrity
Good for chase , escaping and returning
back to lane as it gives you 15%bonus movement.(recommended)

Enchantment:Homeguard
(most used by the league)
This is good if you losing and you
wanna fast defend your turrets.
This is highly recommended
for every champion.

Enchantment:Captain
This is the master support boot upgrade. Allied champions moving towards you gain an 10% movement speed boost. Additionally, nearby allied minions gain a 20% movement speed bonus and I dont recommend this for .

COUNTERS

]
If you play good with Fizz dont need to really check them.You know I do not believe in counters ... I think if u play good and have also a nice jungler nothing can scare you.

After a lot of training and when you ll finally have experience with Fizz you ll notice that he is really strong against skillshot mages . His tricky jumping abilities allow to him to avoid a lot of skillshots.So fizz ends up to be able to counter champions like :

But you know if you are good and u are fast then you have no problem.. Brain is needed

Remember if you see some of those champs on the enemy team (draft pick) pick ;) .

Other Champions counter some way cuz they are more tanky or can avoid his ulti etc.

Lane

Fizz needs a good team that can support him and combo their skills on a teamfight.If you decide to go mid you will need a jungler to gank your lane for 1 time and kill him . After that it will be easy for you to counter him.!

So a good jungler with stun or a good brust damage is required.

If you decide to solo your top lane you will need a good jungler again

Bot lane is propably your worst choice . Bot lane is for your support and the ranged ad .

Fight Tips

"Fight" Theres a lot you have too know about fizz and his fighting style.. He is an assasin with huge brust damage that can easily take out his enemies.

Starting with a fight you need to make a skill combo to destroy your enemy.
So you have to go on with:
-->-->--> Playful/Trickster

This is the combo for entering the fight. IF you wanna take a kill or whatever spam or something then you must go in with your W and then Q And run back with your E

WARDING FOR FiZZ

]

Warding is always necessary in every type of game. Dont forget to ward your lane because even the tricky Fizz can die in a good enemy teamwork gank.

How to counter Fizz

]
Some tips to counter :
-Avoid staying in lane with low health, as Fizz's Seastone Trident will deal greater damage against lower health targets.
-Focus him after he uses Playful/Trickster to enter a fight.
-Buying a Quicksilver Sash and using it will drop the fish from his ultimate, allowing you to avoid the shark.
