Hey peeps, I'm Wolfious, just another League player.I just felt like making some guides, so here I am.Don't expect much, I am currently fluctuating from Diamond V up to my highest, Diamond II, trying to get to Master, which is quite the experience.Remember that this isn't meant to be a legit guide, nor actually serious, thought it can be good that doesn't mean it is.

Other than fun, split pushing and not being seen on the minimap puts a lot of pressure and most people understimate it.Evelynn's passive with Sunfire Aegis can secretly clear a wave in a few seconds, getting Zz'Rot Portal and Banner of Command adds a lot more power to this.At the beginning, you can try to sneak up on the enemy jungler's first camp and easily steal it with Smite since your passive will keep you hidden.During the laning phase you'll be picking up the coin's from Ancient Coin while stealthed and your opponents will be scared because they won't be seeing you and if they try to attack your Marksman you can use your 'W' Dark Frenzy to break out of stealth with a movement speed boost and do your combo to proc Thunderlord's Decree to scare them off.Since you are a Support, vision is important, you can safely ward the river and the enemy jungle by utilizing your passive and getting some sneaky ganks whenever possible.You can also choose to be a bit more supportive and get Exhaust and grab a Rylai's Crystal Scepter which works well with your 'Q' Hate Spikes, those two combined with your Ultimate Agony's Embrace and Redemption is quite good..As soon as you get your Bami's Cinder try to look for an oppurtunity to push or de-push a lane by literally just standing on top of the minions.Later on, when you will have more items and split pushing is more useful, you can push lanes without being seen which will apply a lot of pressure and will leave your foes confused.

You need to play a few matches to understand how it works and feels, after that you can adjust the runes, masteries and build according to your preference.A friend of mine wanted to do something fun and thought of bringing Evelynn to the botlane, his idea was to mostly roam and ward by abusing her passive, but after that match I wanted to try it out and together we added some twists to it, one thing brought the other like a chain reaction.After 2-3 games I felt like I was getting the hang of it, it was something fresh and fun so I couldn't help but do some more, I did not regret it.

Flash is nice, not much to say, just a casual choice, it can help you escape the early invade if it goes wrong or just escape sticky situations in general.

Smite works very well with Evellyn's passive which makes it a great tool for counter jungling.Having Smite means that you will have a lot more control over the jungle objectives(Scuttle,Drake,Dragon,Baron).It also adds some spice to the whole idea and it's pretty fun overall.

Exhaust can work as well, helping your Marksman early on, adding some CC to your early roams and protecting your squishies later.It is a bit more normal and serious but it doesn't take away the fun.

Greater Mark of Armor: Will negate loads of damage during the laning phase.

Seals

Greater Seal of Armor: Ermh, yeah, what else could be good, HP?Sure.

Glyphs

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction: Mixing flat and scaling CDR runes gives your 10%,6-7% early on and 10% later for that juicy 45% CDR.

Quints

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed: Having mobility helps a lot with roaming, warding and splitpushing.

With this page, you get a lot of movement speed from Wanderer and Explorer while Runic Affinity and Insight are for the counter jungling part, Recovery , Meditation and Runic Armor help you with sustain and Intelligence for the 45% CDR. Bandit is great for that extra gold and Thunderlord's Decree improves your trading in lane.Feel free to make any changes.

It might be greedy but the only way of your getting damaged is whenever they attack your marksman and you break out of stealth to attack back, most of the times they will only get to hit you 2-3 times which isn't bad.

The other two starter items for supports require you to attack which will ruin your stealth status and also, after upgrading it will gives your allies more movement speed towards you which will help them follow you on an engage of disengage.

Upgrading Ancient Coin early will give you more gold since you will buy eye of the oasis anyway and once again, it's passive is helpful.

Having sightstone early will help you and your team a lot since you will be roaming, dropping some wards and not being seen is good.

Although the trinker that you want is Farsight Alteration, you won't be able to get it before reaching level 9 and you will already have Sightstone so keeping the Stealth Ward won't really do much.

Roaming needs mobility, nuff said.

This think is one of the most important reasons of this guide, getting it as soon as possible without losing the meaning of support is necessary.

Best item in-game, it will increase your split pushing a lot plus it gives more mobility.

You're still a support and you do not have any utility in your kit, also you can at least say that you have one support item other than eye of the oasis.

Combining Sightstone and Nomad's Medallion and finally finishing this will give you space to buy your last item.

Last but not least, with this bad boy you will become the ultimate split pushing machine.

Synergy:Since you won't really be aggresive during the laning phase, having a marksman like Caitlyn, Varus and Ezreal should have the best results.Following this guide, Evelynn will be tanky without much damage and a lot of roaming/ganking/split pushing potential, she won't however, be able to peel for her teammates very well, so having other supportive champions in your team like Ivern, Shen and Galio can fill up that space.



Counters:Laning versus any strong early game Marksman can be a pain.Playing against champions that can reveal you or know of your position while stealthed such as Warwick, Rek'Sai and Twisted Fate could ruin your match.Another thing to be aware of are traps, anything from Nidalee's Bushwhack to Teemo's Noxious Trap can f*ck you up.Last but not least, anything that can damage you while stealthed can be dangerous, this will mostly happen during the laning phase if you aren't being careful enough, a good example is Miss Fortune's 'Q' Double Up.



Easy targets:Evelynn 'W' Dark Frenzy removes slows, so champions that rely on it will be your b*tches, same thing goes for skillshot-relied ones since it also gives a nice movement speed boost.Supports and ADCs with weak early game won't get to punish you like the strong laning phase ones, that means that you can trade more often and scare them when you go into stealth mode.

When invading at the beginning, do not unlock any ability until you actualy have to, now what do I mean by that, while trying to figure out which camp does their jungler start you might get caught, instead of wasting your Flash you can unlock and use Dark Frenzy to escape, same thing goes for when you don't get caught but after attempting to steal the camp you have to escape, you can either use your 'W' or both.


Try to stand in the middle of the wave in order to clear it faster, if you hover over Sunfire Aegis with your cursor you can see it's range, it's actually bigger than you think.


You can drop your Zz'Rot Portal or use your Banner of Command on the oppossite lane that you are going to push so that they go there instead, if they will you will have earned more time, if they do not then you will be pushing 2 lanes at once.


The coins from Ancient Coin last for 7 seconds, if you choose to pick them up just as they are about to expire(unless necessary to pick them up faster) then when you have to go away for roaming, the enemy will not think that you have left because you wouldn't be picking them up anymore and they will not be able to warn their allies fast enough of your absence in lane.


Ancient coin will drop coins when you are pushing even without an allied champion near but not when your Sunfire Aegis kills them, only when your minions(including the Banner of Command buffed one),turret or Zz'Rot Portal voidlings deal the killing blow.


If somebody from the enemy team notices that the minions are being 'magically' damaged and that there are coins dropping from minions then they might understand your trick, be aware.

Although this is for fun, if you want a reason to try this and want to be more supportive, then there are some changes that you can make in order to be able to do that.Firstly I would suggest taking Exhaust over Smite which will take away the first camp steal and invading in general plus the extra scuttle,drake,baron and dragon control but will give you more peeling potential.Secondly, changing your keystone to Stoneborn Pact from Thunderlord's Decree along with Runic Armor will add some good utility combined with your Agony's Embrace's slow and later on Rylai's Crystal Scepter's slow will work very well with your 'Q' Hate Spikes in Banner of Command's place.You can change your starter Ancient Coin to Relic Shield which will kinda take away some of your roaming potential because you will have to break from stealth to use it, if you are wondering how that would affect your roaming let me explain, if you get ancient coin and pick up the coins just as they are about to expire(16 seconds) during the laning phase, then when you do not pick them up and instead go away to roam then the enemy botlane won't know that you have left until it's too late for them to warn their allies.

Playing Evelynn like this is fun and should not be taken seriously, having that said it doesn't mean that this is a troll guide just because it is unsual.The main reason is being able to split push without being seen directly, that means that they will not try to stop the minions because they will think that the lane won't pushed fast enough and they do not see it as an immediate threat until they hear the announcer going crazy over their destroyed base.

If you do take Smite go to their bottom jungler and hide.Find out which camp their jungler is going to start and position safely, so that after you attemp to steal it you can get away without having to unlock your 'W' Dark Frenzy first instead of your 'Q' or even worse,wasting your Flash.During the laning phase play passively, picking up coins from Ancient Coin and only attacking when your Marksman gets attacked.Try to roam and ward for your teammates by utilizing your passive, especially in the enemy jungle, river and midlane.After you have gotten your Bami's Cinder push/de-push the lanes whenever necessary until later in the game when you will have more items and split pushing is more useful.Remember this should not be taken seriously but for fun instead.
