you should eliminate warmor in my experience with zac, he already has a fairly high cure, there are two ways of being a tank, 1 is healing a lot in a short time and the other is tank, I recommend you try my runes the truth you will fall in love att: jon994 - LAN

You have to change flash with smite. Flash is F!

You can't change them, that's how the mobafire editor works.

Besides, who cares if it's on F or D, it's your kind of playstyle and whats comfortable for you that decides where a summoner such as Flash would be.

You need one Ruby Crystal combined with Stalker's Blade - Cinderhulk and Warmog's Armor. I don't know if they were changing his hp per level, but I remember that he had 3000hp on level 12 without crystal.

Hello! I came here after the recent changes to Zac to see if anyone else was building him AP. Heres what I've been building and would like your thoughts.
Since the AP changes, I decided to try him as an AP bruiser in the jungle. Runes wise, I have been running primary:
Aftershock
Demolish
Bone Plating
Revitalize
With secondary:
Sudden Impact
Ravenous Hunter
With the build, I've been going Runic Echos into Morellos and sorcerors boots into situational items like Rylais, Liandrys and Zhonyas (always throw a rabadons in there for good measure, though!). The one-shot potential is AMAZING, but you're utterly useless if you miss your E which is worryingly frequently (probably because I just suck).
What are your opinions on this, and how can I maybe hit that E more often if this build is actually worth using?

I think that going Stalker's Blade - Cinderhulk is really core for Zac, but I saw some korean high challenger players taking Stalker's Blade - Cinderhulk into Warmog's Armor and then going into AP items like Liandry's Torment and Zhonya's Hourglass.

I used to run AP Bruiser Zac toplane before item reworks and his rework.

Sunfire Cape, Spirit Visage, Abyssal Scepter(now Abyssal Mask), Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Liandry's Torment, & Warmog's Armor

I ran it with Electrocute, Cheap Shot, Eyeball Collection, & Ultimate Hunter w/ some Resolve Tree **** like Bone Plating & Overgrowth.

I noticed that Electrocute ****ing sucks on Zac now because his ultimate got reworked & doesn't bounce multiple times. So now I use Grasp of the Undying or Aftershock for my E & Ult CC w/ Cheap Shot & Ultimate Hunter in my secondaries.

I know your guide is about the jingle jangle but it's clear you're familiar with Zac in other lanes too. So what do you think?

Being constantly stuck to your target with your W constantly popping & Sunfire Cape keeping your combat active, it keeps Grasp of the Undying actively charging, so I use it sometimes.

I'm not asking for a Pro Build comparison either. Pro Players are in a completely different gaming universe than what we're in, so judging based off of what the pros have been doing for the past month isn't a comparison at all.

TL;DR - If I'm a ****ty playing against other ****ties with other ****ties on my team, is this build still good Top Lane?

First of all, thank you on your response.
Secondly, actually i had never played Zac at toplane, but that deffinetly sounds intresting. Did you try using Ravenous Hunter in secondary tree considering your constant damage with Unstable Matter and Sunfire Cape. Also, even Cheap Shot sounds like good option, i find it really useless on jungle Zac, but it could work on Top because you have more chance to proc it.
Overall, really intresting build, i will try it for sure.

Awesome! If you end up figuring something out, please lemme know. Zac is great in the Jungle but I don't always enjoy it. He's definitely not as aggressive for laning since they reworked his Ultimate, but he still makes a solid tank for later on, or earlier if you prefer the ganking scene with Teleport.

Ravenous Hunter does seem great but I don't always feel the return on it, & that's with any champion I play. It might be due to the fact that Zac's innate sustain is based on the pieces of himself he drops and not the amount of damage he does, but I could be wrong; given the fact that it also requires you to be aggressive to activate the pieces. I'll give it a shot.

Hello there! Really nice guide you have made, you really feel the time and effort you put into it!
But moving on, I was wondering about a few things
1. Can it be good to start ap jungler item to help your carries burst laners down and get kills?
2. While 5% extra cd is amazing, is transendence and riverwalking from sorcery just as viable?
3. Can Spellbook, Grasp of the Undying or Phaserush be viable and just as good? (Im assuming you already can guess how i wanna use them)

Best regards from a satisfied summoner!

Hi!
First of all, thank you on your response and your time to write your opinion on my guide.
About your questions:
1.Riot was buffing Zac's AP scalings last season few times, but I still don't think that AP Zac is better than tanky one, of course if you want play for fun that's not bad build at all.
2.All of pro players are taking Inspiration as secondary tree so I really don't think that Transcendence and Waterwalking can compare to Cosmic Insight and Magical Footwear
3. Phase Rush definetly no, I'm not sure how would you use Grasp of the Undying, and about Spellbook, that's really intresting rune which can work on many champions, but i don't if it's viable option for Zac, at least for now.

I were not thinking about full AP, just going the ap item for early burst help for laners, since it provides ludens buff
Grasp to heal, but i see how that doesnt work now sadly:(
Good response!

Hi there,

Hi there,
As a zac player, I wanted to ask what you thought about dead man's, knights vow, and starting cdr boots and switching them mid/late game

I don't like Dead Man's Plate on Zac and I think if you need armour item there is Thornmail or Randuin's Omen
Knight's Vow can be a really good item if you are playing around your ADC and want to protect him, this item is also good if you have Zyra, Brand or some other damage support.
[Ionian Boots of Lucidity]] is good boots if you have easy matchup and if you feel safe enough without any resistance.
Thank you for leaving your comment and if you need anything else, feel free to ask.

I have a question that might be a very noob-y question, since I only recently started playing. Your guide is really useful, but when you mention what boots to go- you mention treads and tabi as options in the items, but in your 'core' items and full build, you say boots of lucidity. Is there a reason for that or am I just being dumb?

First of all, I'm sorry for not answering you on time, I wasn't really active on Mobafire last few weeks.
About your question, I changed main boots in meantime and I forgot to change core build, I think that Ninja Tabi is better option overall, of course, in some situations Mercury's Treads can be a thing, but your ultimate gives you CC immunity so you don't need to worry about that.
Thank you for your comment and once again my apology for the late answer.
