>>> I will review 3 Guides Per Day <<<

Reviewable Guides

Guide For (champion): Sona
Why I'd like this to be Reviewed: Back for another! And I'm not quite as sure about this one.
What I'd like you to focus on: The feeling of the second half (on gameplay, warding, clairvoyance. All of that stuff). It doesn't look clean to me for some reason.

Guide For (champion): Orianna
Why I'd like this to be Reviewed: I put in a great deal explaining how to play AP Orianna correctly including Early, Mid and Late Game. The different way your ball can be used. I've also outlined all the possible items that you could use and when you should be getting them (including core starting build).
What I'd like you to focus on: The guide and the skill order. I have explained a lot here about all her different factors.

What I'd like you to focus on: Is my guide too wordy? Are the pictures explanatory and aid the words, or do they confuse?

I'll get to reviewing soon! I've been really swamped with the start of uni, so I've been trying to catch up on lectures I missed when I was sick. And I have an exam in week 5 and that's 3 weeks away and I'm freaking out, lol. But I will review 3 reviews tonight, like I've promised.

3 per day, or more, depending on if I have time ^^

On another note, Nighthawk has opened his own Review Thread Here. Go ahead and check it out ^^

It's only a single set of square brackets for the new mastery, item, rune embedding.

Freddy's Sona Guide
Verdict: I'm loving the quality of the author's guides. They are fantastically written and very aesthetically pleasing, not to mention coherent and confident. He backs up all choices with reasonable arguments, and there's no reason for a rebuttal. Great guide.
Possible Improvements: Besides weeding out the random missing coding throughout, there really is nothing to improve about this guide. It's really well done. The author could include some video gameplay of Ranked Sona play, or some screenshots of success with the build. While the guide is very visually pleasant, some more images wouldn't hurt ^^

nstructive Criticism:

1) Don't mix wards up ^^ Flat is better than levels with casters anyway.

2) I always start Aria of Perseverance due to its Power Chord and so I can heal allies straight up in the case of a bad start. But I used to run Hymn of Valor, so whatever words for you.

3) :/ I'm not a fan of the whole "Faerie charm + wards + pots = epic support". Doran's Ring always helps me out more. But it looks like you're catering to high elo play with this, so kudos.

4) Abyssal... I don't like, and if you get Shurelya's + masteries + Focus + Soul Shroud, you won't need Ionians, leaving you with the option of Mercs for magic resist, or Sorcs for magic penetration.

5) I'm enjoying the theme throughout your guide :) Maybe you should make up/request some images to put throughout your guide to link it even more closely to music.

6) Add in spaces after irregular punctuation. ie: "+ Does more damage"

7) Love your skill explanation. Very well set out. You have some coding errors here though: "Both aria of perseverance and song of celerity can be useful to use on an enemy who is trying to initiate by running in"

8) No suggestion of Sorc's?

9) I've noticed occasionally you don't wiki code things, ie, "Soul Shroud and Eleisa's Miracle have a better distribution of stats for Sona." and I'm wondering why when the icons are great visual reliefs.

10) I honestly believe Shurelya's is a core item for Sona. It gives her great bulk health, mana and health regen, plus the active is incredibly useful. I understand why you'd want Eleisa's, as I used to get it, but I honestly don't think Eleisa's > Shurelya's.

11) Your colours in the map are hard to see... Maybe think of using a different map?

ChefoSLR's Leona Guide
Verdict: A solid off-tank Leona guide that the author clearly has put a lot of time and effort into. Edit: A very well-written and aesthetically pleasing Leona guide that focuses on two builds: Tanky or Support. I enjoyed reading this guide and recommend it to Leona players, old or new.
Possible Improvements: I think the author needs to work on their grasp of spatial grammar and have a look at their guide from a new perspective. Do the columns really suit that much information? The guide is certainly in-depth enough, so the only other suggestions I could make are adding in some more images for visual relief. Is Leona even a viable pick? Edit: The author has taken all suggestions to account and with the re-release of their guide, MobaFire will welcome another great guide writer to the community. Again, the only things I can think of are more images (coming soon, the author assures us), and some screenshots/videos of gameplay. Nice guide!

Constructive Criticism:

1) Thanks for the shout-out ^^ Also, I noticed your item builds are very well thought out now, and logical. I like builds that purchase small things then build up the big items out of order :3

2) There seems to be a lot of random space (enters) in your tl;dr section. Coding errors?

3) Don't bold whole lines of text :) It may just be me, but I find it hard to read.

4) Demacia?! :D World of the Disk? :P :P

5) Again I'll complain about large icons within sentences, but if you really want to keep them, who am I to argue? Also, you could go (masteries) but replace ( ) with [ ] ^^

6) No "space" between columns?

Sorry for the short review D:

verxx's Orianna Guide
Verdict: A solid Orianna guide that is very easy to read and extremely in-depth about gameplay.
Possible Improvements: The guide is not really aesthetically pleasing, but it is neat and easy on the eye. Some images, formatting larger icons would all be beneficial. A skills explanation section would be fantastic. Reorganising the chapter structure would be good too.

Constructive Criticism:

1) Hmm, I'm not sure about your Doran stacking. With the philosopher's stone and one Doran's Ring, Orianna should have enough mana regeneration, so the only reason why you're grabbing another Doran's is for the health and tiny bit of AP. I just don't think it's worth it, as it'd delay your Deathcap.

2) Skill order and Summoners are great and make perfect sense (though some people level up Attack and Dissonance equally so Dissonance's damage increases).

3) You're grabbing Morello's a little late in your item build... Same with Banshee's and Archangel's. I'd also suggest a Rod of Ages.

So... If you're going to grab either Rod or Archangel's, you should have Tear somewhere earlier in the build, so you can build up those vital stacks.

4) Good Hands > Perseverance

5) How about adding some colour to your Pros/Cons? Green/Red?

6) Seals of Replenishment are better early game for casters.

7) Use the new bbcode embedding system.

8) Item sections before gameplay.

9) Pregame stuff then in-game stuff.

10) No section on Ability explanation? Or why you level up the skills you do? Unique Skills can be broken up into the Skill Explanation section into relevant abilities. ie, Command Attack - can scout brush, quick harass etc.

XxStarkxX's Kayle Guide
Verdict: An interesting AD/Magic Damage Kayle Guide.
Possible Improvements: It's short and sweet. This isn't a guide, it's a build ^^ There's not much to improve on, as there is not much to improve on, haha. As it is right now, the guide is perfectly fine. If the author wanted to devote more time to it, I'd suggest having a look at some of the recommend guides in my first post to get an idea of how they could expand/improve with their guide :) If nothing else, have a look at my guide about making a guide.

Constructive Criticism:

1) Look up Searz's Rune Guide. Seals of Strength are bad, so are Glyphs of Insight, lol. Try Seals of Replenishment and Glyphs of Focus, or AP Glyphs.

2) I'd suggest one level of Divine Blessing early game, say level 3 or 4.

3) :/ Your items are really weird. Like... Really really weird.

4) D: Not much I can say about the guide, it took me longer to write this review than it did to read it :P

Visit my thread for the verdict ^^

lithybaer's Wukong Guide
Verdict: A comprehensive Wukong guide with a very solid build.
Possible Improvements: The author needs to work on his sense of paragraphical space. While everything is set out well, there is not enough space between some aspects of his guide, making text seem too cluttered. Entire paragraphs of text shouldn't be coloured, it's a black background, white works best for lots of words. There really isn't much else to be improved, perhaps some videos of gameplay? A nice guide to read :)

Constructive Criticism:

1) Wouldn't it be more effect to level Crushing Blow over Nimbus Strike, considering levelling CB lowers it's cooldowns, while NS stays at a low 8 seconds?

2) Not going to lie, the build is great. Have seen Wukong's rape with it. Just wondering whether the Force of Nature is necessary if you get Banshee's Veil instead.

3) You could add a column to the left if you were annoyed with the way the Pros/Cons section turned out.

4) Oh god, whole paragraphs of text in colour D:

5) You may want to add in some separator lines between your abilities, or at least space out the skills more, as a lot of the information seems clumped up.

6) lol, loved your Juking section.

7) Pregame stuff before in-game stuff

VKZ95's Mordekaiser Guide
Verdit: A VERY in-depth Mordekaiser guide that not only gives you a good build for the Twisted Treeline, but explains alternative items well.
Possible Improvements: The author needs to spend some time making the guide aesthetically pleasing. Have a look around at the other guides in this thread and see if you can implement some changes to make it nicer to read. I struggled to read your guide because I grew bored too fast. While you have a lot of good information, I feel as if people are just going to skip everything in your guide due to it not grabbing the reader's attention. Visual changes are not hard to make, pop into my guide about writing a guide and have a look at the various ways in which you can enrich a bland guide :)

Constructive Criticism:

1) As Morde is a caster, a melee caster, I think he wouldn't be able to make much use of the Lich Bane proc with auto-attacks. But I may be biased in my opinion, as the only Morde player I know plays like a caster. Out of sight, out of mind, boom headshot.

2) No Deathfire's? :P

3) You may like to alter your title to say "3v3" or "Twisted Treeline".

4) That's a VERY expensive build for TT.

5) You need to work on your punctuation and capitalisation.

6) Pre-game stuff before in-game stuff.

7) I scanned over the rest of your guide. Why? Because it was really boring to read, lol. Visit my thread for the rest of the review.
