For those of you who've been around MOBAFire for a while, you might remember this guide as the top lane winner from the season 6 guide contest. LimitlessHavoc takes the throne again with his expertly crafted Riven guide. You can often tell when a guide author is really passionate about their champion by how much thought they put into every aspect of the guide, and in this respect, LimitlessHavoc is a clear Riven main. Expect a plethora of varied gameplay tips, detailed build advice and tons of examples of various Riven mechanics! This is the perfect resource for aspiring Riven players.

This guide is straightforward and solid, just like Garen himself! BitBot delivers all the fundamentals of Garen play and breaks down two different builds for differing skill levels. Whether you're struggling in Bronze or reaching for Platinum, this guide has build tips and gameplay advice tailored to you. BitBot's guide also includes an ambitious matchups section with a ton of top lane matchup breakdowns and tips as well as common builds of each opponent. This section is still being expanded, so expect even more matchups to come in the future!

FupiDupi's Evelynn guide is solid all the way through and checks every box for a quality guide. The items and runes offer a great mix of creativity and solid grounding in tried-and-true Evelynn builds. Regarding gameplay, this is a detailed guide that doesn't waste your time. Every paragraph includes key knowledge or tricks to maximizing your potential with Evelynn. All the key ways to master her mechanics are covered as well as some great general tips to keep in mind while practicing in your own games. I think a lot of guide authors could use this guide to learn to make their own guides more information-dense and engaging.

If you're looking for more of an unorthodox jungler, look no further than LePlay's Poppy jungle guide. I haven't played Poppy jungle for many months, but reading this guide reminded me how fun the champion can be as a jungler. As both a jungle main and experienced Poppy player, LePlay takes you through all the viable build options and the factors you'll have to take into account when choosing your build. The guide also has a refreshing twist on some classic coding techniques. For such a new guide from a new author, this is a terrific start. I look forward to seeing this guide grow in the future. ^_^

I've been following the progress of this Lux guide over the past couple years and I'm glad to get to share it with all of you today. Luxeøn leaves no stone unturned when it comes to Lux builds and mechanics. You can expect to find just about anything you'd want to know about Lux in this guide, from rune setups to item builds and every mechanical trick unique to the champion. Even rarer subjects such as jungle camps and champion select are discussed from the perspective of a Lux player. This guide is already incredibly detailed, but on top of all of that, Luxeøn also includes a crazy amount of lane matchups, organized alphabetically and placed into spoilers so you can find the matchups you're most interested in. If you're interested in playing Lux mid, definitely check this out. The author also has a guide for Lux support as well if that's more your speed! ;)

Does this author need any introduction? If you're a Heimerdinger player, chances are you already know who Heisendong is. Now you have the opportunity to learn from the Heimer master himself with his champion guide. There aren't that many high elo champion specialists who main champions like Heimerdinger, so it's a special treat to be able to get a glimpse inside the mind of a player with so much high-level Heimerdinger experience. You'll find everything you'd expect from a quality champion guide here and breathe easy with the knowledge that everything you read has been tested at a Master/Challenger level in solo queue.

Yeager has a number of great champion guides, but right now we're here to talk about this one for double

Qasddsa is a name that popped up in several judges' top 5 guides selections, but this guide is the one that hit the hardest. Qasddsa's Jinx guide, despite being very new, is easily on par with some of the top quality guides on the site. Qasddsa doesn't waste any time getting to the meat of the guide and crams a lot of detail into a relatively short read. Both the build information and gameplay tips in here are solid, making this a useful and reliable resource for any Jinx player.

This guide actually won the S8 contest but it still can't be beat even now. L3gislacerator has an unparalleled blend of incredible aesthetics, detailed information and entertaining writing style. His Taric guide is simply a delight to read and is engaging the whole way through, which is an important quality for this absolute juggernaut of a guide. I mentioned this back in December but I can't help bringing it up again: His synergy description for Jhin is an adorable poem of 4 lines with 4 words each and 4 letters per word. I always forget it's there until I reach that chapter and it makes me smile every time.

Kryptid's writing combined with jhoijhoi's graphics and coding results in a terrific Nami guide with exceptional presentation. All of the information is well organized and jhoijhoi's visuals do wonders to keep the reader interested throughout. Kryptid's paces the guide well to include a lot of detail on each subject, but it never gets overwhelming to read as there's always another intriguing topic just beyond the next paragraph. Whether you're looking for an item build, gameplay tips or matchup info, Kryptid has you covered.

Dzopilant has gone above and beyond to make his Teemo guide visually distinguished as one of the best coded guides on MOBAFire. Throughout the guide you will learn about Teemo's gameplay as well as his lore, stretching from toxic shrooms and memes to the evil nature of this little yordle. The guide makes quick use of code to hide trivial parts and keep readers engaged and actively learning as a result. No section of the guide is neglected, with clean code throughout that is always pushing the limits of MOBAFire's BBCode. In addition, Dzopilant has strived to make unique code for his guides and ensures that any inspiration and outside art is credited. I look forward to what he plans to release next!
<Lifebringer>
LuxVikAsol keeps it short and sweet with this quick Lissandra guide that includes all the tools you need to get started and practice the champion for yourself. Below the detailed runes and items section, you'll find a thorough breakdown of Lissandra's mechanics and ability combos along with video demonstrations of each technique. Mastering these mechanics is the foundation to becoming a well-rounded Lissandra player, so definitely give this guide a look if you're interested in the champion.
Thanks to all the authors for writing all these awesome guides, and to the judges for spending the time to go through a ton of candidates. I hope everyone enjoyed the contest and may these guides help you with your ranked journey this season.
If you are a winner you will be contacted via email this week to coordinate prizing.
Our judges helped with going through all the guides that qualified for each category, to help us pick out the best of the best. Thanks to all our judges for helping make this contest possible!
